I was a bit taken back over the commander of this deck being red and green. I've had a snake tribal deck that I keep modifying/upgrading for some time now. It's black, blue, and green. The only red snake I ever pulled from a pack or random lot buy is from Portal. Even then the card doesn't say it's a snake. Thankfully there's more than a few snakes in this expansion that'll let me fiddle with my tribal.
I bought the two commander decks for this set last night from Amazon's German site. I went there just to buy one, but the prices for the two were too good to pass up. The R/G deck sells for just over 25 euros and the other for just over 26 euros. Even with the current exchange rate that makes the cost less than the LGS or Wally World. Shipping was a bit over 11 euros for one or 14 euros for two. Saving that €8 was the clincher. The only drawback is it's not expected to be here until Mar 8.
That extra mossfire takes the Planeswalker spot which hurts hopefully they fix it if they do a new print run of the decks
Its called upgrade unleashed because you have to upgrade it in order for it to be legal to play 😂.
I was wondering if I should buy it, would you say it's not fun to play out of the box? How many games have you been playing with the deck?

How is the foil-etched display one different from a Playable mtg card? And more importantly, why not just make our *actual* commander foil-etched, if they're gonna go to the effort and cost of printing it?
The display commander card is much thicker cardboard

Not bad, though you'll need to replace the extra Mossfire Valley with either a basic Forest, or better yet, Nissa, Voice of Zendikar.

Is it normal in this commander decks, that the the holostamp on the rares is making a visible imprint on the back of the cards? Anyone noticed the same issue?

Hey again mate , unfortunate the starter deck is out of stock in my area , but there is the crimson vow deck and kamigawa neon dynasty deck , which is better ?
They're both decent, so whichever one looks the most interesting to you. Commander is a format that can be overwhelming for new players though, so a Challenger or Pioneer deck might be a better option.
The pioneer one is more expensive , so i need to stick with those only for now , i think im going for kamigawa
