I watched a video 3 months ago comparing a $4000 MacBook with a $3900 Lenovo. The MacBook was clearly superior in software like Adobe and other programs, but Lenovo excelled in gaming sometimes by a small margin and sometimes by a large margin. I don’t think comparing MacBooks with other laptop companies is really important. If you want a device for editing clips and photos and so on, then maybe the MacBook is the good choice. But if you want a device for gaming, browsing, programming, work and so on, then maybe you can go with Asus or Lenovo or any other company. Not to mention that it’s up to the person. There are those who prefer the Apple look and there are those who prefer the gaming laptop look or the like, or there are those who prefer Windows and there are those who prefer Apple systems.
Hey bro, how’s the editing of video on this MBA M1? Is it good as a content creator beginner? I really don’t have any laptop or pc to use to start with, despite of super expensive MacBooks, I find this one as cheaper and on sale now. Please help me if this is good on editing video content?
Yes, for beginners, really no problem at all but there are some constraints that i've encountered, full details would be on my Macbook Air M1 after 1 month review which will come out around next 2 weeks but yeah, MBA M1, is good for editing, can handle 4k, decent amount of effects (!), really better value for money!

@@jumarubang4245 “game sometimes” is still a tricky one. It really depends if MAC supports that game or could perform well. For Editing, tricky one as well, you need to buy Final Cut Pro, if you dont want it, thats fine as well, you can use Adobe Premiere Pro or free editors like capcut. For movie streaming and work related, definitely Macbook!
I am just starting out my content creation journey and going to go all into Video Editing! I have a budget of Macbook air M1 with 16 GB of RAM. Should I go for it in 2024, is it still worth it? Or should I be buying a windows alternative in the same budget such as Dell G15, with a RTX 3050 or HP victus? Please help! I have just graduated college, and want to spend wisely! Also, does DA vinci resolve work well in MacBook Air M1 16 GB RAM, if i dont go for final cut pro right away due to my budget?
Yes, definitely the best value you can get for what you need! I think you can as well do 8K footages downscaled to 4K quality with only 16gb of RAM on a decent time range of rendering and exporting, don't settle for a windows laptop for this kind of work, you'll eventually know what i'm talking about soon and how good it is once you've had it! Not sure yet about the in-depth information about davinci resolve, from what i know, it runs good and quite optimized BUT not as better as Final Cut Pro performance on this Macbook Air! We have the similar situation, for this, once you've purchased your Macbook Air, you can redeem a free final cut pro for 90 days and that should be a good deal already and see things out if you'll go for Davinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro!

Actually I have already ordered M1 MacBook Air 7 days ago, and as they have launched M3 Macbook Air today, M1 has gotten cheaper, and probably I will be getting the refund of the price difference (of around 121 dollars). Please help, if I should cancel my order of Macbook Air M1, and order M2 with 256 GB and 16 GB RAM? The price difference is 121 dollars! I have just graduated and want to spend wisely! My main reason for buying a macbook is performance and video editing, I want to know if its really slower than the Macbook Air M1 as many people claim!
@@priyankmehra532Sorry for the late reply, but if budget is not really an issue and the price difference is only $121 then you’ll get better value on that M2 (only considering the difference because M1 will stay long as possible as best value unless Apple pulls it out from their shelf)

How much is this? Specs wise, it's good but battery life is not for full student activity unless you're always plugging it in!
