Dino still has it going on with those ultra tight rhythm parts! I'm pretty good at that, and if I'm really on top of my game I can come veryclose to matching his speed and precision and his time, but he is a master of those things. Respect!
dino cazares is THE guitar player that changed the way I play guitar 8 years ago. Soul of a new machine got me into death metal and demanufacture got me into shredding. DINO IS THE SHIT!!!
One of the interpreters that I work with introduced this band to me yesterday. Damn that riff is brutal. It was playing in my head as I rolled out into the Iraqi streets today. A very fitting song to sum up the lives that I see before me in a place that many consider a failed creation. Great Song indeed.
I like how he slowed the riff down, like anyone couldn't have caught it the first time. The chorus, maybe, I could understand, but that main riff is simple as hell.
dino's playing has been impressing me lately. he was getting really sloppy live with Fear Factory before that ended, but now he's tight and fast as hell.
@ChewyCervantes lol because mainly Ibanez was started back in spain in the late 1800's I believe? (There was a tilde over the n) and it ended up being destroyed, and the corporation picked back up in Japan.
I would love Dino to play this w/o distortion. A personal challenge! Guaranteed it would be a sloppy mess. With this much distortion it doesn't even matter what notes or strings you're playing. Throw the guitar down the stair and hit record = Dino album.
@rockster07 dude, those djent kids and fuckers will NEVER EVER be able to create such brutal ruffs AND NEVER EVER be able to play so fucking tight than dino does. its jealousy.
Wondering the same shit. I'm assuming since he has had this guitar for about 2 years its a EMG 707. Probably a pain in the ass to replace it with a SD Blackout considering the paint job.
i know it looks kinda weird, but i think thats the sitting position for classical flamenco guitar playing style, maybe he plays flamenco too, i dunno..
Is he running his guitar through a noise gate? I don't hear any extraneous noise when he mutes the strings. The guy can sure play some fast, tight riffs.
@cerwinthedoc Well that, I can agree with. That does seem to be a really big issue with a lot of bands today. There are very few bands who can stay the same genre and not stay generic.

te queremos en México, tú eres mi ídolo.
I saw Divine Hersey for free here in Monterrey Mexico about 6 months ago, nice gesture by Dino and he's friends..

Makes me wanna buy a 7 string. Dino YOU ROCK!
I'm right there with you on that one
I don't see how someone couldn't pick this up on guitar

He is one of the better guitar player that i never see
MEXICO ROOOCKS!!!!!!!!!! arriba la banda mexicana!!!
lol Periphery would kill for some of Fear Factory's bone-crushing heaviness.
awesome riffs
every flamenco guitarist ive ever seen down there, plays rings around dino.
That guitar is insane!
it seems that Babzon doesn't know that Dino has one of the most influential riff style in metal music. Dino roxx!
dino is awesome!
either that or fear factory his style fit fear factory perfectly
ese Dino es todo un master y esa guitarra de lo mejor viva mexicoo cabrones
ese Dino es todo unmaster y esa guitarra de lo mejor viva mexicoo cabrones
Awesome. Hail Divine Heresy.
What is his guitar tuned on? A? B? sounds killing!!
Wait was that with the SD blackout or the EMG 707? I'm thinking of swapping out my 81-7
god damn, you gotta love that guitar! VIVA MEXICO!
That is a really nice ax. Does anyone know what tuning Dino is playing in?
Bad ass guitar hermano.
the main riff was badass!!!
hell yeah the riff master... is he really using all those kinds of stacks (marshall, ibanez, AND carvin?)?
lol even though im a big fan of dino`s work, i still laughed pretty hard at ur joke
sssssssssssssssss sssssssss y mas sssssssss
dino eres el master de masters yeaaaaa ojala me ilustraras con tu sabiduria jaja yeaaa chingon man saludos
@TJGuitarVids Who uses backing tracks?
so happy hes back in fear factory.
What is that, a piece of foam on his headstock behind the nut? Is that supposed to be some sort of string dampener?
agreed, but Dino does now play on 8string Ibanez' as well.
I want a lesson from the drummer too!!!
He must use a noise gate to play riffs that tight.
that flag won the most beauty flag recently
yes i have dude :) amazing band
the headstock looks like it has an EMG on it....the guitar looks awesome
anyone know how he gets his sound? like what distortion or setting he uses?
lmao yeah i listen to just about everything it keeps me in the state of mind for new ideas dinos riffs r a good warm up for me though
at first i thought, ehhh i could play this, then he got farther on the neck and shredding, yaaaa give me a few minutes ;P
If you look closely people, its a seven string, so its probably tuned to b.
Está pocamadre esa guitarra.
im not a huge fan either but dude it may seem easy and it really is but the speed he plays it at is a real workout for your wrists
that green floyd is sick
Proud of Dino.
dinos style is just fucking original
@rockster07 he simply gives the rest of the instruments air too, the sound comes from the whole band with his music imo.
Viva la Mexico!!!
I usually think of it as more flexibility for creation in a song.
wow heavy riff.
Oh yeah man! :D very nice! :)
@rockster07 well think about it, he is playing thrash riffs, and those mostly put emphasis on speed, and not on slow tempos.
dino kick ass!!
tommy can go from screaming (like in failed creation) to very smoothly (like in closure). so no dude, tommy will be succesful where ever he goes
I really like his Fender Telephonecaster. Must be custom, cos i never seen the telephonecaster with 7 strings.
ohh.....gotta use that on my guitar
He's mexican!!! :D
The best mexican guitarrista :D
VIVA MEXICO! \m/
@ChewyCervantes lol because mainly Ibanez was started back in spain in the late 1800's I believe? (There was a tilde over the n) and it ended up being destroyed, and the corporation picked back up in Japan.
what tuning is this on?
he
When does it comes out in Guitar Pro Tab? I only found one but it isnt right.
fat boy has one of the quickest right hands ever i have seen for a metal guitarist
wat tuning does he use?
VIVA MEXICO¡¡¡
I would love Dino to play this w/o distortion. A personal challenge! Guaranteed it would be a sloppy mess. With this much distortion it doesn't even matter what notes or strings you're playing. Throw the guitar down the stair and hit record = Dino album.
lol! When he said he would slow it down I was like cool but then It almost sounds the same speed! lol! HES SO FUCKING AWSOME!
Start Believing it Dude, cos there's a lot of us.
I wonder how long it took him to think of that opening riff...
yeah, they were made specially for him
@rockster07 dude, those djent kids and fuckers will NEVER EVER be able to create such brutal ruffs AND NEVER EVER be able to play so fucking tight than dino does. its jealousy.
Does anyone notice a pick up on his guitar? I think his hand is covering it, but when he lifts it up at the end, I can't see anything.
in what tuning does he play it?
no se metera en problemas legales?
por la guitarra?
@TJGuitarVids Even then, a little more imagination never hurt anyone. Periphery has a singer too, remember?
dino definitly uses more than one finger...
Wondering the same shit. I'm assuming since he has had this guitar for about 2 years its a EMG 707. Probably a pain in the ass to replace it with a SD Blackout considering the paint job.
\m/ man you rule!
i know it looks kinda weird, but i think thats the sitting position for classical flamenco guitar playing style, maybe he plays flamenco too, i dunno..

far more impressive then his Fear Factory riffs
@Blader999 ...because its a 7 string?
I want that guitar.
Pretty simple stuff.
As far as tech stuff and 8 stings go I am stickin to Meshuggah
@HannibalMurder totally agreed dude, best mexican musician maybe
@cerwinthedoc
Well that, I can agree with. That does seem to be a really big issue with a lot of bands today. There are very few bands who can stay the same genre and not stay generic.
sounds close to before i forget by slipknot, with the 0-2-0-2 etc thing
cool Mexican axe
