funny you should mention that... I just visited this video because my 13yo son is gonna be playing that drum part in collaboration with a few other NC teens in the coming weeks. I expect Dino to get his dick bent over it and upload his re-re-r-recorded version eliminating the teen guitarist that plays his parts. This video was such a dick move, I'm glad I just found out he did it. Poor new singer too, basically being forced to whore out and make sure another musician doesn't get royalties for his art on the original. Congrats to Dino on beating Sharon Osbourne at being the biggest bitch in metal, he locked that title up. bro code, man code, artist code... all violated with this video.
The time I saw Divine Heresy it was a complete surprise. I went to a show with Shadow's Fall and Static-X co-headlining. Vext had hurt his ankle and couldn't play that night so Joe Payne took over on vocals. The whole thing just blew me away. I was able to meet Tim and Dino after the show too. I personally thought that Joe did better live than Tommy could in the studio. That's just me.
Did he play an 8 string on this first Divine Heresy album? I believe he recorded the second one with an 8 string but not I don't know whether he did this one with an 8 string.
Isn't it interesting that when somebody says only White people do metal, you point to Divine Heresy and show a Black (ex member), White, Latino, and Asian?
Dude this band is literally metalcore with death metal instrumentations. I don't know what to call this metal genre because it's not deathcore. It has death metal instrumentations and metalcore vocals.
Correction: There aren’t enough GOOD metalcore bands out there. Most metalcore bands nowadays rely entirely on breakdowns and auto tuned vocals. The older metalcore bands like Divine Heresy and All That Remains wrote actual riffs, actually sang, and the song structures weren’t predictable.
@@IllusionaryFuneral Can only agree with you. Divine Heresy was a really unique band, they combined death metal and metalcore in some really unique way. Shame Dino was a douchebag. :/
Tommy Vext was their old singer. This is the new guy. They just re-recorded the vocals for the video. (or maybe the whole trak, I'm not sure.) But the album version is still Tommy singing. He's also in Snot right now.
Jack Torrance Tripper a.K.a. vXI You said “real talk” so your opinion isn’t valid. ...Sorry, sport. But they both are equal when it comes to recording. Judging should really only be based on live performances and tour shows
Ricardo Valenzuela I hope Dino Cazarez recruit Jerms Genske (ex-Dirge Within, ex-A Texas Funeral) as their new vocalist. I really want Divine Heresy reunion.
there's one song on the Westfield Massacre cd that sounds almost identical to thensure breakdown riff in this song. I think it's "Consumation of Disgrace"?
Failed Creation, and the entire studio album it is from (except this video which has the replacement singer's version). Failed Creation is why I started listening to this band.
I think the reason people dislike this band for not being a real death metal band is because, well...they're not death, they're melodic death. Big difference.
dino and vext had a small altercation on stage. Tommy,s monitors were cutting out and was leaving the stage and shoved dino. They only rerecorded the vocals on the album
theres too many people hating on Dino, saying how much they like Divine Heresy or how awesome they are, but if it wasn't for Dino, Divine Heresy wouldnt even exist,
I would love to see Divine Heresy in concert one of these days. As for the lead sunger I think it is a tie btwn Tommy and Travis. If you do not agree with me, do me a favor sew your lips shut and agree with me
the new singer is Travis Neal from The Bereaved, I can't see anyone replacing Tommy Cummings and I have to believe what he said about Dino is true, Burton C Bell said the exact same thing about him. Dino seems to be the common denominator in everything that goes wrong. I give these guys the best of luck with their new singer, however I gotta feeling it will end up like any other band Dino has been in. Tommy was seriously the nicest guy you could ever meet.
Only reason I came to listen to these guys is because of Tim Yeung, dude is under rated in my book of drummers. After hearing him in Decrepit Birth's album ...And Time Begins, I was blown the fuck away but his relentless blast beats and drumming.
@blurgenizer55 Ryan Mc Combs is one of best singers ive ever heared and i think he is doing pretty good in drowning pool but his best songs for sure are from soil, also soil's new vocal is awesome too, songs like "One last song" proves his talant alot
The drummer never ceases to amaze me, pulling off beats like that with ease
funny you should mention that... I just visited this video because my 13yo son is gonna be playing that drum part in collaboration with a few other NC teens in the coming weeks. This just popped up in a 12yr old Facebook memory. This brings back some high-school vibes..
Man am I glad I got this album before they rerecorded with singer.
The time I saw Divine Heresy it was a complete surprise. I went to a show with Shadow's Fall and Static-X co-headlining. You can't classify something this awesome under a sub-genre. It is metal. Pure fucking heavy metal. Again.
the vocalist has so much energy!
Just listened to this band. Love the hardcore vocals + the death metal drums.
*Dino Cazares* is definitely one of my top influences for picking up the *8-string guitar* aside from *Fredrik Thordendal* and *Mårten Hagstrom.*
Did he play an 8 string on this first Divine Heresy album? I believe he recorded the second one with an 8 string but not I don't know whether he did this one with an 8 string.
@@vinaymulukutla358 Yup.
Every track on *"Bleed The Fifth"* was on an 8-string.
@@nipulkradmsinatagras8293 Cheers for answering man. Now I love this album more \M/
1:04 Pass the last glass of Lemonade!
lol xD
Hahahaha
Lolol dude 🤣😂😂🤣 I'm dead 😂😂😂
Vendo em 2019 essa coisa Linda!!!
1:31, one of the most brutal parts I've ever heard in any type of music. It just sounds 100% merciless.
Amazing!
FACTS. Still is fucking hell on earth
Without voice, this song is fxcking amazing.
I've Seen Tim Yeung Live Performance and he's one of the tightest one I've never seen. He's Just Fucking Amazing!
ya tommy Owns this guy, well done Dino!
i never knew the bass player does vocals, thats sick
Cant wait for next album, amazing bandd
Como me gustaaa este temaaaa
The drum...uhh... I love it! :)
Nicholas Barker is a fucking beast.
love the opening riff
The vocalist from "THROWDOWN" sounds exactly like Phil . IMO
Throwdown is so under rated. Bad ass fucking band. Venom and tears is the best album
Throw down is an amazing band
These guys play one hell of a show.
just thought Id throw that out there
Isn't it interesting that when somebody says only White people do metal, you point to Divine Heresy and show a Black (ex member), White, Latino, and Asian?
brucenatelee and a lot of the time, these assholes LISTEN to bands with non white members. KNOWINGLY
Yeah but fuck Dino. Hea a douchebag to meet in person
you can tell just how breathtakingly talented and musically superior these guys are just by the spectacular, ground-breaking ending to this song...
Back when metalcore was metal
Metalcore is still metalcore.
Fuck off with tone deaf, arrogant, self-centered, small closed minded comments such as this.
@@Celestial_Being666 now is pussy core dude.. fact. You can cry if you want..
This is far away from metalcore, this is tech bro

That isn't Metalcore, it's unique! That sounds so stronger than Metalcore
Dude this band is literally metalcore with death metal instrumentations. I don't know what to call this metal genre because it's not deathcore. It has death metal instrumentations and metalcore vocals.
The black guy had the better sound.
Tommy is the G.O.A.T
Tommy Vext is a legend
I like this one, too
Tommy has a great voice. I heard he's just really toxic to work with.
Who is tommy? First timer in here. @@JohnDoe-mv2be
Director : We NEED A HIGH QUALITY green screen lighting!
Producer : Fuck that SHIT!
this version of vocal is much more venomous and it strenghten the whole song. To me, Travis was the best choice after Tommy
This version sounds like shit without Tommy.
Tommy was who made the band great. Dino sounded like typical Dino....the original drummer was a bad-ass mofucker though.
I hope they'll make another album ASAP. There are never enough metalcore bands out there.

BRING TOMMY BACK
Perverto Romántico to Dino Cazares)
I liked this song at 2010... 13 years ago. I really need time machine. The good old times that will never return.
My take: Travis's screams are better, Vext's cleans are better.
It's a big crazy good song ! I love it !!!
They seriously edited Tommy Vext out of the video? Kind of a dick move if you ask me. He was part of the band & wrote the lyrics.
he left "fired". don't worry Tommy and Tim are working on a new project
i kind of like travis' voice better:/
Jackson Kyle look up the band called The Bloodline, that's the band he's in now
***** i just was reading about how he was with them now. Isn't that what used to be Dirge Within?
correct
Tommy Vext was their old singer. This is the new guy. They just re-recorded the vocals for the video. (or maybe the whole trak, I'm not sure.) But the album version is still Tommy singing. He's also in Snot right now.
You shouldn't compare Travis with Tommy.

...Sorry, sport.
But they both are equal when it comes to recording. Judging should really only be based on live performances and tour shows
Sick ending to the song...I love that part - it sounds like a machine..awesome! DINO is badass!!
Killswitch Engage + Whitechapel = This song
the vocal part at 1:06 is insane...and all the rest too :P
Gimme that drumset Tim Yeung! lmao
the song's beginning is awsome!
Travis sounds a million times better than tommy on this song
That's why it's called an opinion, like whatever you want i think he sounds better
wow cool, travis still sounds better
Ricardo Valenzuela I hope Dino Cazarez recruit Jerms Genske (ex-Dirge Within, ex-A Texas Funeral) as their new vocalist. I really want Divine Heresy reunion.
there's one song on the Westfield Massacre cd that sounds almost identical to thensure breakdown riff in this song. I think it's "Consumation of Disgrace"?
The new vocalist is pretty damn good!!!!
Travis shits all over vext, and he's a really nice dude too instead of a massive shitcunt.
The singer is actually the hardcore element in this awesome metalcore band
Failed Creation, and the entire studio album it is from (except this video which has the replacement singer's version). Failed Creation is why I started listening to this band.
@TheBloodlustEternal Even Digimortal?
this song is so awesome and the 2nd song i listen to from divine hersey
dude the new singer is really good, go Travis
He´s a friend of mine and his name is Travis Neil, he´s from San diego. He´s also singer in Mother Mae I and The Bereaved (sweden)
The drummer is one of the sickes I've ever heard. So fast!
love them!!!!
Didn't they just release an album?
@Escrima88
its hard to sing like that, and metal including Divine Heresy is one of the most diverse, hard to play and awesome music ever
new singer is amazing !!!!!!!!!!
tim yeung is his name. he is on of the greats check him out out. he used to play a bit in 'Nile' as well.
I think the reason people dislike this band for not being a real death metal band is because, well...they're not death, they're melodic death. Big difference.
Does anyone know if Divine Heresy is going on tour? I would like to see them if the come to Houston.
dino and vext had a small altercation on stage. Tommy,s monitors were cutting out and was leaving the stage and shoved dino. They only rerecorded the vocals on the album
that was beautiful
I don't know if their new singer can sing clean very well, but his screams sounds perfectly fine imo. Good choice as far as screams go.
theres too many people hating on Dino, saying how much they like Divine Heresy or how awesome they are, but if it wasn't for Dino, Divine Heresy wouldnt even exist,
This song is worthy.
solid drummer, nice guitar solo by Dino
I dont always listen to Divine Heresy
But when I do, I prefer Tommy Vext

@asgold8 Rochester NY has claim to two of the best drummers out now in my opinion, Tim Yeung and Brann Dailor!!!
i think he is the best drummer in the history of drummers
brutal voice
we have yet to see if he can singtho
Glad they re-did such a kick-ass song for the new singer.
Man i can hear a big difference in the two, still has the same mastering fx on his vocals though, and the pitch shift effect :)
kickass music.
I remember a show in Colorado with a weak pit dude just jumped off the stage and started throwing us at each other. Awesome times.
wow this song is so epic
are they melodic
this song is bomb
kickass band!!
@Shiftypop yes drowning pool is a band
very good impression about this album. i can hardly wait the new bringer of plagues album. hail metal

Nice... Was wondering who this guy was. In studio with Morbid Angel right now eh? I think he will do great with it.
this song was re-recorded when they got the new singer, obviously with him on vocals
an ibanez 8-string, i think (look at 1:02)... can't really see which one it's here exactly.
the ending kick ass!!!
I agree. Tim is the only musician adding substance to the album.
