We discuss what the fans mean to him but also the fact that he is a fan himself. I hope you enjoy it. From growing up in South London to the multiple unsuccessful trials and plans to give up playing, I signed my first professional contract with Crystal Palace a few months before my 22nd birthday. In 1991 I signed for Arsenal Football Club where I scored 185 goals in 288 appearances. I went on to play 581 league games, scoring 387 goals for seven clubs in England and Scotland, earning 33 caps for the English national team.
I am now fortunate enough to have a football broadcast career working for the BBC & ITV.
Some Career Achievements:
185 goals in 288 appearances for Arsenal (2nd all time leading goal scorer)
117 goals in 253 starts for Crystal Palace (leading post war goal scorer)
33 caps for England Men’s National Team
Premier League Winner (Arsenal): 97/98
Premier League Golden Boot (Arsenal): 91/92
FA Cup (Arsenal) : 92/93, 97/98
European Cup Winners' Cup (Arsenal): 93/94

Wait until he reaches the peak of his career. We have to hope we can keep hold of him. There is going to be a lot of clubs wanting him. He is already on the cusp of being the best in the world in his position
@@jhardworkpaysoff474 i dont think thats possible, honestly. As a Liverpool supporter of 30+ years... what Gerrard went through and what he did... it is so unique and special. The hardship and the trying and failing and still giving everything and still being THAT good... i dont think anyone in the modern era will eclipse Stevie Gerrard as a legend. He was the best midfielder England has produced in 40 years. as a united fan you will probably say scholes... or maybe lampard... but Gerrard could do both of what they could do just as well imo. His passing range was incredible. His goalscoring and assisting just as good. He could do everything. He is the player that could win a game by himself. He carried Liverpool for years and even England. I hope Trent comes close... but i dont think anyone ever will.

I don't know why I keep smiling like a proud mother listen to this. It ridiculous because Trent only one year older than me 😂 but a real massive credit to his mother. You could see this lad is very humble and have great personality. What make him different from the others player is because he's so competitive. As a sport person that is something you must have in yourself so that you can improve yourself in the future. I'm believe in this, Trent Alexander Arnold would be one of the best right back in the world for every season in his career. Good luck lad ❤ praying the best for you in the future. August 23rd 2017 Liverpool played Hoffenheim in Champions league match.Trent played.Ian Wright was commenting for Radio 5 live.His comment after the game was Trent Alexander Arnold is going to be a Top Top(he did say top twice)player for many years to come!

Watching Trent in this interview you can clearly see the kind of players and personalities that Klopp has brought into this Liverpool team. Trent is just another example of the desire, self belief and team spirit that drives this great team to success. Kudos to to you Wrighty for another cool interview.
There was an article on The Guardian when Klopp first came to Liverpool and he'd just signed the players who went on to be superstars two, three years later. The article spoke about how Klopp had the style he wanted in his head and basically focused on signing coachable, decent, hard working players with the stamina to play his style.. People including Liverpool doubted Klopp initially few years later and the rest is history....

They had Trent drinking the red bull pre-game like he's Vardy loooooool. But on a serious note it still pains me when I hear Wrighty saying that his pops used to ban him from watching MOTD. I can't even imagine what that must've felt like wow being a lifelong fan of MOTD myself watching it since I was a kid. Wrighty I don't think you'll remember this but once u were in a lift with my mum n sis at hotel inn in Manchester n they saw u n when they came home n told me how humble n kind u were it confirmed to me how much of a good guy u are. What a fantastic little interview. TAA is slightly younger than my son but they’re both from the same area and sound the same. It almost made me cry hearing the love for the game this boy shows. I don’t believe there’s a football fan who couldn’t identify with what he says. Two of my heroes on the same sofa!

Nobody will ever forget the first time they got into the stadium, it blew my mind as a kid. Grew up going to watch a conference team, was about 10 when dad finally give in and took me. I just remember thinking how can it get better than us. Its good on tv, but just totally different once stood on the kop and YNWA starts. I havent been for a few years, it looks even better now. Atmosphere is next level when the songs get going. TAA you are an inspiration and every kid in Liverpool will be practising crosses for the next few years. You made RB a cool position.
