The Official UA-cam channel of ex Crystal Palace, Arsenal & England striker Ian Wright.
From growing up in South London to the multiple unsuccessful trials and plans to give up playing, I signed my first professional contract with Crystal Palace a few months before my 22nd birthday. In 1991 I signed for Arsenal Football Club where I scored 185 goals in 288 appearances. I went on to play 581 league games, scoring 387 goals for seven clubs in England and Scotland, earning 33 caps for the English national team.
I am now fortunate enough to have a football broadcast career working for the BBC & ITV.
Some Career Achievements:
185 goals in 288 appearances for Arsenal (2nd all time leading goal scorer)
117 goals in 253 starts for Crystal Palace (leading post war goal scorer)
33 caps for England Men’s National Team
Premier League Winner (Arsenal): 97/98
Premier League Golden Boot (Arsenal): 91/92
FA Cup (Arsenal) : 92/93, 97/98
European Cup Winners' Cup (Arsenal): 93/94

I’m astounded that in a divorce, someone can take not only your money. But your life’s achievements, the judge who agreed his ex should get his life’s work should be ashamed.
Not "ashamed", but REMOVED from a judgeship.
Yeah I was surprised about that, also why would the x want items that would remind her of him? specially stuff like that.
@@philanderphillips2309 I agree with you completely. If it were up to me, I’d throw the judges degrees and any certification in a shredder and see if they like having there life’s work taken

Ian Wright is such a genuine soul. Pure reactions. Real passion. I don't care which team you support, everyone loves Wrighty. Makes me proud to be a Gooner, knowing that one of our legends was not only a top baller, but a solid human being. #IanWrightWrightWright
"Look forward to beating your record."
Gotta love Thierry's arrogance, we were so lucky 5to have two such excellent strikers in succession (without even mentioning Bergkamp and all the other legends from that era).
Awesome gesture.
My favourite player to ever play... and I was a ball boy for arsenal palace and walked the tunnel with the man himself
You lucky fellow 😂🤣
It the personality behind the player that makes him standout. His life story is so interesting too.
Awesome! :)
He is such a genuine human being! 👍🏾👍🏾
You are One lucky man.
One of the most beautiful gestures I've ever seen between men. Well deserved, Ian -- so happy to see all those hard-earned items back with their rightful owner. Credit to the guys at CFS -- you've got a new subscriber now!

Mate, this is soo emotional. I still remember as a kid hearing that Arsenal signed Wrighty. It’ an excitement I’ve not had again with any signing since and I doubt I ever will. Watching him reunited with all these amazing momento’s has made my day, I can only imagine how great it must have been for him. Well deserved to one of the greatest players and men to ever wear an Arsenal shirt.
Be just a tiny bit positive, we will defo make such a signing again.
But be honest, you said since wrighty you havent felt that way, after all the quality we have had to date?
I know im a baby to you, but be realistic, and thats not taking anything away from wrighty
I’m abit younger didn’t get to see him play. Who would be the equivalent today?
@@ace-paidinfull5240 it was honestly a huge deal for Arsenal fans at the time. He was the top striker in England back then. We might have made top quality (and comparatively more expensive) signings from other leagues since like Ozil and Sanchez, but Wright was an English player who was the best in the league, so we knew we were getting a guaranteed, great player. He didn’t disappoint either, he never sold out or quit respecting the club or the fans. Love that guy.
@@Goldboy1975 i hear you fella👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽
Wrighty you are the reason i support Arsenal today, my uncle almost made me a leeds fan at the age of 8 and was even given a scarf but within that week, i went to my cousins house and found a massive A2 poster of you after you scored your 100th Arsenal goal and i was since that day a loyal Arsenal fan. over the recent years since you been back in media, I actually got to know the legend that made me choose this fantastic club and man we all have so much love for you and couldnt be happier to see you reunite with your football accolades.
Not being an Arsenal supporter I admire him as a player but even more so as a human being. Ian is a fine example of what someone can achieve coming from adverse conditions and not only never giving up, but not forgetting where you came from and what it took to get somewhere. Well done lad.
Ian wears his heart on his sleeve for everyone to see. He cannot help it. He showed it on the pitch every time he played. It's called passion. And we loved and love him for it too ;-))...

Incredible player, hilarious pundit, and an amazing human being. Never change Ian ❤
My HERO was lucky enough to meet him a few years ago at Brighton , what a lovely guy I will now die a happy man
That FA Cup final really started it all for me because in Trinidad we didn't get league games. When I saw Wrighty in that final I was mesmerised. I thought this guy is amazing. I thought "Palace is my team". Then I saw he moved to Arsenal and the rest is history. Now I am a gooner for life! I am happy that you, who brought happiness to so many of us, can get some more happiness in your life. I need to start a collection of videos of Wrighty that made me cry lol.
I’m a Spurs fan but Wrighty was pure class as a player and a man. Good on you boys for giving him back all those memories 👏🏻
Us Arsenal fans will always have a place for you in our hearts Ian, so happy to see how much that meant to you.

I was at the training ground many years ago, in the days when you were allowed to approach the players in the car-park, I asked Mr Wright if he would pose for a photo with my step-daughter, even though he was in a hurry, he was out of his car spent loads of time with her and signed her number 8 shirt, I had it framed for her along with a couple of the photos of them together.
It was on her bedroom wall until she left to go to Uni, it was the last thing to go in the van, and the first thing to go on her bedroom wall when we got there. She still treasures it to this day, and is still Arsenal barmy. Thanks Wrighty.
Started following football & Arsenal in late 90's.... Never seen this guy actually playing... But his passion for arsenal is unmatched and can imagine energy he would have got to the games while playing... Respect 🙏

I'm Canadian - we don't do football over here so much (Ice Hockey, yes; Football, not so much). I went down a rabbit hole yesterday after seeing the video where you get reunited with your school teacher. Don't know you, really - yesterday was my first introduction. But I'm so impressed with what a great human being your are - friendly, humble, outgoing. I like you, my friend.. there should be more people like you in the world - it would make it a better place.
How spiteful can a person can be to take someone's memories like that? I am so please you got your stuff back, those guys are legends. We love you Wrighty.

Wrighty is one of the most humble men in football history in my opinion. What a legend!
Just came across this video as I looking through the new Ian Wright collection (which by the way looks pretty good). What these guys have done is amazing, nothing short of what a club legend and icon deserves. One of the best strikers to wear an Arsenal shirt and one of the best strikers the country has produced. Top player and top man too.
