Why would anybody be surprised if tyson won. He was 13 years old, knocking out grown men.Why can't he be 58 and knocking out young men.
Not so much surprising if Mike takes it home, honestly that’s my prediction for the fight, however an old body can take substantially less damage than a young one can. Even as a 13yr old I’m sure Mike just fuckin absorbed damage but as a 58yr old man, after a career of hitting and being hit, he is definitely more vaunerable. So if Jake manages to sneak in a few deadly hooks that somehow would have to catch Mike off guard, it wouldn’t be overly surprising to see the times do Mike dirty

Mike Tyson’s peekaboo technique is literally one of the most iconic techniques in all of boxing and because of him, boxing coaches from around the world are getting people who are a lot shorter in the heavyweight division to learn from it because of how it works only for people who are short.
The problem is that it doesn't work if your body hurts - why the boys are concerned. Float like a butterfly and jump like a tiger, you ain't doin that as an old fighter.

Honestly Jake's type of muscles is the kind of strength I consider genuine. Pecs, structure, and core is a dead giveaway of hydration. Force = Mass times Acceleration, there's more mass in any body that's hydrated than another that isn't.

I agree with Sensei that fighters reach a point where they just dont have it anymore. Prime example was Chuck lidell. The only difference between Chuck and Mike tyson is that we saw chucks training footage before his fight with Tito and he was as slow as a 90 year old. Everyone thought he was sand bagging just to make himself look bad and slow. But the truth was that was chucks speed. And the. Level he is at. He was finished before the fight ever started. Mike looks good for his age I just think he still has the strength and power, just not stamina. My uncles are the same. They are 57 and 56 and built lol. Idk if it’s good genes or what but my uncle who is 57 has a 6 pack and is strong as hell. He doesn’t work out either. I mean he works for my other uncle and they have a tree service so he gets workouts at work, but he’s also a heroin addict for the last decade yet is still in incredibly good shape somehow. My other uncle that own the tree service isn’t all ripped up but you can see how big his arms are when he flexes and he’s ridiculous strong. Hell I’m 30 and he can easily throw me around despite only being like 20 pounds heavier than me. I’m in decent shape myself as well but like Wades dad said, the older generation was seriously just built different..

The face off revealed a lot. Jake imposed his height superiority, which put Mike exactly where he needed to be. Mike was there showing him exactly where he wanted to hit him. Imposing the question, so how are you going to keep out of my way? He showed him where his bones were. The one thing the older guy has over the younger is that he knows his strengths and how to exploit them. The younger has stamina strength for longer periods if he can take the punishment and sustain that. I think that is one of Jake’s strengths. This is an extremely interesting matchup. I don’t think he can out box MT but if he can outlast him he could win, that will be the test. Let’s see.
