Dave just so you know, the emorretta "creator" (the person who made the snow poki level) is notoriously known for making levels that are ridiculously hard that have a hidden dev exits. She would also delete levels that have been cleared and re uploud them after changing the dev exit. Even now I attempeted to play that level but it got deleted. Royru has a good series talking about emorreta if your interested to learn more.
I thought I recognised the creators name. She also claimed that royru sent people after her and that she doesn't delete her levels when cleared. (obviously lies) Pathetic how desperate some people are for clout
In case anyone is interested in seeing this video since I wasn't finding it: the guy who made the exposed video is actually named Royru, and on youtube the name of the video exposing this creator is "Super Mario Maker 2: Exposing Dev Exits [Part 1] [Stream]"

The program is what helps us fight against "LOL find the hidden block" levels and people like emoretta that make levels with malice in mind. The program is the great equalizer!! I get that, but I think using the program in an Uncleared Expert video is cheating. The point of it (to me) is to outbrain the creator and beat the level or to just move on to the next one. Now, if it was an Endless run, I'd be 100% for the program. But that's me. That's what I'd do if I played this game. :P
@@hulkrae I think you set up a rule. You do uncleared levels blind unless something seems fishy or you get to a point where you can't progress. I don't think using the program to combat literal shady nonsense.

I think the intended way to beat "My First Troll" was to save the P-switch for the area just below where the two doors were in the subworld. Dave used it to change just one brick block to a coin, but he could have avoided that block by going left instead of right, and saved the P-switch for the pathway beneath the doors that was obstructed with bricks.
I feel really sorry for you Dave. Like other people mentioned, the first level was fake and that person also reuploads the levels, when they got cleared. No idea what the intention of this person is, but they lure people playing a terrible level and kinda grinding it, even it isn't real and wasting their time. Good thing you are a very positive person and don't let these levels effect you. Keep up your good work, so much fun to watch this series ;-)

Dave, your videos helped me through a very hard time in my life, i still watch them 3 years later and im so thankful for you Dave, hope you have a good rest of your day🙏
that's only true for the very top of the level. In a normal horizontal level, the game is programmed to automatically keep the top section of the level, even if you are as far down as possible. However, they don't automatically load the bottom section of the level. The reason they treat them differently is probably just because things can fall, but they don't really rise very often (and tracks - the primary mechanisms for raising things up - are permanently loaded anyway). This system has been in place since SMM1, and when they decided to put vertical subworlds into SMM2 the same properties carried over. It loads in Mario, the stuff around Mario, and the very top of the level above where Mario is standing. And since Mario never moves far enough away _horizontally_ , you can see how the top of the stage would *never* unload.
I wish he showed the rest of the level for the second one 😭 just to see what he needed to do. But alas, whatever the reason for why he gave up, it shows that he is human after all 😭
This “creator” makes hard levels and hides an easy dev exit so she never has to clear them. If someone beats it she deletes and reuploads it so no one will have a clear. Emorretta is kind of a notorious creator in MM2. They create really hard to do levels which are actually impossible without a dev exit and then delete them when someone finds the dev exits.
That used to be the case. However, a group mentality across streams developed where viewers started enjoying the suffering of streamers. Idk why, but people forget or don't realize that they are actually doing something negative to make someone's job harder. They are the Karens of Twitch.

Did anyone consider with the troll level. You can take the p switch to the spot just after the bombs, then press to get through the coin blocks. Or blow up a path to the key door. Two ways to go with the p. Anyone check this?
In the case of vertical levels, falling off screen counts as off screening and despawns enemies so that they can be reloaded from the player going up and down. Unless it's sn autoscroll in which case the rules get weird and they may or may not die.
If enemies fall into a pit, they do not die and also despawn, except: Bosses (excluding some winged bosses & meowsers), and bullies. If enemies fall into lava, they DO die, except: Meowser, dry bones, etc If enemies fall in a vertical screen and not into a pit, they are despawned. If bosses fall into a vertical screen, they will continue to be loaded to fall onto the bottom ground or pit, and various things may occur depending if they have wings or not.
