In my IT classes, we use VMs and my 13 inch Inspiron just doesn't cut it. I'm hoping a 15 inch will be adequate. At least when I don't have access to my Desktop, such as on campus.
Good luck doing graphic work on anything smaller than 16 inch, imao In fact, anyone spoiled with a large display will know how awful small displays are in general, there 14 inch laptops with 1440p, unusable, you cannot see anything at 100% scaling, so you need to up the scaling, and there you go, you already wasted the form factor, whats the point having 1440p on anything smaller than 16 inch when you need to upscale anyway? 14 inch is good for general computing, size does matter, for real work, you want a real size like 17 inch and at least 1440p or 2160p
@@ComputerStuff Yes thats true and what a shame, however they are replaced by the much more expensive 18" size, which is 17" but with 16:10 aspect ratio instead of 16:9 So you gain another inch of space in the vertical
What screen size do you recommend for coders and programmers. Is 14" size too small if you are running two windows at simultaniously? as in in one window you are running a meeting or a tutorial video and in other window you are running a code editor? is it okay to use 14" laptop for such use case without any external screen? or we should with 15 or 16"?
@@ComputerStuff I was going to go for like the G14 from a suits, space but think I'm just going to wait till the 2023 model to if it comes with a second drive slot. And, space. Sadly, Razer doesn't have a Sega drive set for their blade 14. They don't even have a single upgradable ram slot.
Right now i have 17,3 inch laptop its to bulky tp carry around with me, i plan on buying a 14 inch one i can easy take with me im a writer and i love writing on the go and in a caffe

Good 17" computers, especially power houses, are becoming harder to find!

Love 16" if you're running two windows side by side.
Get 14 and get external monitor.
Can't go wrong!
12" is my favorite!
🫢

14" is boss!
I agree, but I can't find a 14" laptop with a second m.2 😭😭
Yeah that's a tough one. MAYBE Razer but not sure.

Good content--thanks. But for the love of god stop saying "form factor". It's SIZE. Period.
