I don't see the complaint. Anyone that played D2 knows this crafting system for making profit was exactly the same. Except we used runes and Anis as the dominant currency. POE2 is designed after D2, and the economy seems to fall in line too. Some people love this type of play and profit chasing. Some love just playing and blasting. There are no wrongs here. It's an ARPG. Go play whatever role you want to play. Just have fun ppl, whatever your fun looks like.
Once you're in cruel you can talk to any of the gambler npcs and exchange currency, which includes armourer scraps so there's no need for you to sell them

Amazing video, I wouldve never thought of doing wands for profit. I managed to get in early of the Against the Darkness gambles of buying for 4div unidentified each and hoping I got mods such as; % as extra cold or % intelligence. My highest sell was a 1% mana per small node and 4% int per notable at 80 div. But I never wouldve expected the power of slam crafting wands. The greater essence of haste was a good touch to guarantee cast speed. Amazing work.

Help me understand but at 2:10 you mention that all these wands were underpriced at the 700 weight and you picked ones with 2 affixes. Instead of risking rng for the ext getting good affixes why dont you just buy the wands listed that already had the ideal rolls as they were all at 10ext? The one above your example is a great roll, you could buy that and resell OR is your point that these are priced correctly but had the potential to be worth much more if rng hit right?

First of all, great video! Funny and informative. Prices for the +4 lvl wands seem to have plummeted pretty crazily. I was still able to sell some at a good enough price that i will make a profit but theres a lot of wands now at ~1000 sum that cost less than the bases. Do you have any more tips like this? I feel like wands are the best because so many of the affixes can be good as long as they are high enough, whereas a lot of other weapons need very specific mods to work. The +5 levels wand seem to still sell just fine but i only have 2 div so i cant really afford the bases lmao. Also: just fyi if you are trying to find out the weighted sum of your own items, put them in a stash tab up for sale (at a crazy price so you dont get spammed), then run the weighed sum search but on the left under "seller account" put your own name and #. That way you will be shown only the items you are selling with the sum, then you can adjust the price accordingly.

You have to set an extra option where it says "Buyout Price" set this to Exalted Orbs. Also make sure you sort for the price of you want to see the cheapest stuff first. It's not as intuitive and I had also my problems since I am new too but this helped a lot (except you're looking for something that actually costs divs)

Do you know why when I look for wands with open affixes, I don't see the tiers of the affixes, I just see the prefixes and suffixes. It's a bit harder to tell which have 2 open affixes

How do you turn a profit with buying the +4 magic wands? it seems when u spend lots of currency making them into a sell worthy wand you would run into a lot of currency loss and it would not pay out?

How do you turn a profit with buying the +4 magic wands? it seems when u spend lots of currency making them into a sell worthy wand you would run into a lot of currency loss and it would not pay out?
