I think Abuja is well suited for us South Africans because it’s more calmer and it’s in our usual pace. It’s more developed too but Lagos is where you need to train your hustling skill. If you do well in Lagos you can do well in any country.

I'm glad you generally enjoyed your stay in Nigeria. You experienced like just about 2% of the country. To experience Nigeria, You'd be ready to spend time and not just in Lagos but round Nigeria. Abuja is more suited to what you're used to. And within Lagos even, you still experienced just about 10% of the city or less.
Next time, make out time to stay for a longer time and travel round, not just in Lagos.

    Things you're sure right about:
    1. Guys on the truck. Yes, they don't care, just like that!
    2. Nigeria is hot. Yes. While Johannesburg does 18°C, Lagos does up to 31°C, and Abuja up to 36°C.
    3. Many angry people! Ha, sure because you were in Lagos where the real hustling happens. The Principle is 'take it before someone else does'.
    4. Nigerians are loud. Yes. Mostly Nigerians from Lagos, Aba, Kano, Ibadan, where the population is really high and the competition is rife.
    👍👍

It depends on where and what you ate. There are Nigerian dishes with so much meat, you may push the meat aside to access the food itself. Some good egusi soups for instance will have like 6 meats, 5 intestines, 5, towels, creyfish, dry fish and cow skin.
In the Niger Delta, they cook with different fishes and also add meat to it.
If you want to eat meat strictly, you can go to a street join and get suya.

'm not sure why people lie when they visit Nigeria! You guys derive so much joy from lying against Nigeria. The same country you despise lying about is still larger in GDP than yours. The truck you showed is not in Nigeria, and there are no such trucks with wood within the city, but always in the forest, and there is no single fact that you saw just one traffic light; traffic lights were already in Lagos in the 1950s, and Nigerians consume more meat than any other African country. Nkwobi is all meat, pepper soup is a whole meat delicacy, and so forth, and Nigerians don't drink beer without meat, you can ask. Do you have meat in South Africa? If you go to the roadside Mamaput to eat, where they provide you meat according to your money, aside from those chemicalized cow, pig, and chicken does you guys have meat? Stop being local champions, and broaden your horizons by travelling outside of your enclave.
