I have flown with a Stemme of my ex flight instructor several times. Incredivle performance but very complex aircraft, hard to fly, and very difficoult to land. The narrow and high landing gear, the greath inimaginable efficiency and aerodynamic make every landing dificoult. even a little effor make you turn in trouble.
@@monan101 well forever not. All depends from the wheather. If there are no thermals you stay home. Your engine is the nature and it don't always give you "gas". With good wheather condition I have flown even five hours but my best friend, who is a young talented guy only 30 years old now (I am 67) have made even 13 hours flight from early morning to sunset, of course with ideal wheather. Gliding is a lot stressing, not so easy like GA airplane but very sporty. You cannot glide everywhere, I live in Switzerland and over the Alps flying gliders is wonderful but also not that easy amongst huge mountains and glaciers.
Wow! That sounds incredible not gonna lie. You must have a lot of experience with them. Do you fly gliders on flight sim? Do they compare to your experience? I've bought the Discus glider pack, one comes with a few engine options too. I'd like to make a video using them too.

That's incredible! Always wanted to fly and very tempted to try out gliding. I imagine that thing can stay in the air for practically forever?
