I like how FOB incorporates old songs and totally re-works them. There is always a new life to the songs that I didn't think was possible, they all have cool vibes.
Seriously people? How is FOB a sellout? You know what a real sellout is? Its someone who sticks with the same theme and sound for their entire music career so that the fans always stay loyal and keep cashing out on what they already know works. FOB is taking a risk, they are evolving their sound, and quite frankly they are succeeding. Not all bands that change their sound make it, some become one hit wonders, FOB does not want that, they want to be relevant. If you don't like their new sound then it sucks but change must happen. It's sad that many people don't understand that.
I agree with you, fob has never really had the same sound for two albums in a row. They're always changing which isn't a bad thing. It would have been extremely easy for them to produce the same content for years and play it safe and stick to the same fanbase they knew they had instead of taking risks.

Originally, when we came up with the idea, and there was this sample in it, which is a sample from The Munsters TV show, people kept saying “oh cool, like Quentin Tarantino, cool” when we played it. We decided why don’t we kind of create this world around that? To me, Uma Thurman and Winona Ryder, they were these women in pop culture who were quirky, but that made me only crush on them harder. and rather than going with the traditional Uma Thurman role, we thought a lot about Kill Bill and who her character was in that, and this kind of resilience and this violence, but there’s something that’s authentic about it (like a woman taking revenge or being empowered). So that’s what the chorus of the song’s about, and the verses are what you would do to try and capture this woman’s affection. i would like to point out your both right

I have been looking for this song for so long, I used to hear this all the time on the radio when I was younger and I remember really liking it but forgetting it as time went on. Last year I heard a tiny bit of it playing on a radio in a video game and heard the part that said "I cant get you outta my head." So I went on to look up songs that contained that phrase with no luck. However, today I heard it again in a trampoline park and rushed to my phone so I could write down a sections of the lyrics. Originally, when we came up with the idea, and there was this sample in it, which is a sample from The Munsters TV show, people kept saying “oh cool, like Quentin Tarantino, cool” when we played it. We decided why don’t we kind of create this world around that?
To me, Uma Thurman and Winona Ryder, they were these women in pop culture who were quirky, but that made me only crush on them harder. and rather than going with the traditional Uma Thurman role, we thought a lot about Kill Bill and who her character was in that, and this kind of resilience and this violence, but there’s something that’s authentic about it (like a woman taking revenge or being empowered). So that’s what the chorus of the song’s about, and the verses are what you would do to try and capture this woman’s affection.

I have been looking for this song for so long, I used to hear this all the time on the radio when I was younger and I remember really liking it but forgetting it as time went on.
