Dear Andy thank you so much I really got a tremendous amount out of this video tutorial. I guess that means I’m an intermediate level guitarist! Oh joy. I really think the way you broke it down was simple and easy enough for me to understand it and get the enjoyment out of it by applying it instantly. I favor Yusef/Cat Stevens version because after all, he composed it and I am a big fan from listening to his albums which he recorded in the early 70s, Tea For The Tillerman, egs. I was looking up this song and tumbled on to your UA-cam video. It was a lucky day for me I’ll be subscribing!!

At 10:18 I learned a new chord inversion (I am so excited- I really am!). I knew the D shape moveable and I also know the F shape moveable chords but I have never scene this inversion you just showed. Not only does this help my playing but will help me learn all of the notes on the G string. I like to play familiar progressions with these little triad inversions on the 1st three strings. When I play with others they are always asking,"What the heck are you doing there?" Of course I just act as though it's just pure genious, a gift from the guitar Gods.
This is the first time I watched your video I've been playing guitar since I was twenty-two on 44 now and this is a really great video like you did an awesome job I appreciate it keep up the good work brother

Er, 8:50 - that D Major Chord at the 9th fret is ACTUALLY at the 7th Fret.
Sheryl Crow version is Crimson and Clover. I’m sure the others are as well but D, A, G, A really sounds like it
