i'm not big fan of opera however i am a massive doctor who fan and this song just makes me go weak at the knees its amazing as is KJ :)
What a magnificent voice...but, the full impact of this beautiful piece is only fully felt upon seeing Abigail singing this to the older Kazaran, as he is taking her hand, and then leans his head into the hand she caresses his face with.
Romantic and magical.
It is such a truly beautiful composition I think it was a crime 'This Morning' decided to cut out over a minute from the middle of the song.

Seven years later, now there's 9 dislikes. Seriously, which of the Doctor Who enemies did that? Sure, opera isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it works really well for this song. Have it on my iPod, need to binge watch the entire previous Doctor Who series before Season 11 and I don't regret putting this song on my music device. Probably have broken my repeat button over this.

I remember watching doctor who a Christmas carol as a kid and I could never forget the song but I could never find it until now it still brings a year to my eye

Anybody have a better copy of this? It looks like whoever uploaded this converted it from PAL (I assume it was broadcast on UK TV) to NTSC without doing a proper conversion. The motion on the picture should be smooth but it's all jumpy.
@scullyluster There are a couple more posted now. This one plays fine for me. The first time I played it here, it would stop and start. I refreshed my browser and it has since played perfectly.

@BobbyR454 No it's not a browser problem. Watch - as the camera pans or zooms out the movement should be fluid but there's slight skips. It's definitely because the original uploader converted it to NTSC for some reasons. There's no other HD versions on youtube that I can find. I guess I'll have to file this one as "unavailable" in DVD quality.
Maybe the skipping is caused by the deinterlacing filter? TV has a tendency of being broadcast interlaced, which looks horrible on a computer.
My I am amazing aren't I....
Still no DVD quality PAL version out there. What a shame this uplooader felt the need to convert to NTSC!
