Yes! Fly me to the mode of light hearted jazz, a fest of same. Your ability to do theme and variations galore is quite remarkable. Also, again, it may be my imagination but your hand positions and fingers are developing so beautifully; I sense I see more verticality of hands, coming down from a little more height with mediating arm weight, more dancing on fingertips, with some more bone to bone strength, even to the wonderful shaped pinky. I sense it has made your playing more expressive = more clarity of phrasing and melodic work. I was alive when Moon River was released; Henry Mancini was a giant in film scores which became standard, stand alone, monster hits. But it has never had a more exciting treatment than what you did here. You may not like me gushing too much, but your work is exceptional, on the cutting edge of what unique creativity means in an imitation world. You are the "medliator." Sensational.

Just like Fly Me, Moon River was covered by a dozen artists within a few months after it's debut; the centerpiece of an otherwise implausible plot movie, featuring big stars with long necks, who were supposed to carry the flick to off-the-charts movie ratings. What endured was this, rather simple original tune, out of the whole context of "Breakfast at Tiffany's." The theme song had virtually nothing to do with the film's plot. 'Shows to go ya.' Good music stands on its own merit.
