Förster Friday Fun - Autumn Song

Hello one and all!!! I can't believe we are at the beginning of October already, well ... Friday 4th, to be precise!!! So on this episode which will be a bit of a shortie because of what I have in store, I wanted to present to you this amazing piece from Tchaikovsky's seasons which I featured on my channel a year ago, but this is so melodically stirring with sumptuous harmonies. It is the 10th piece in the collection entitled "Chant d'autumne" or "Octobre" published in 1875. An introductory improv will introduce this piece. Hope you enjoy and have a lovely weekend!!!

Lovely creative intro. You can play quiet and intimate for long stretches, holding the mood. Love that LH pinky action you've developed, plus beautifully rounded hands/palms. Your restraint is effective in delivering PIT's undelying passion, sometimes bordering on sentimentality; your covers always deliver the musical elements and style authentically without excesses; brava! Very sweet, just the right touch of languid, autumn feel. This was wonderful.
