He's always practicing these one punch shots. When he needs to have a really good straight stinging jab that sets up a straght one two combination. And after landing a straight one two combination he can follow it up with his left hook.

He honestly never really improves. Idk why they haven’t brought him back to the basics and work on his fundamentals. He could be so much better than he is, but I don’t think he lives in the gym like the greats do.
@@tonytouch145Derrick James just had an interview and said “I tell Ryan the truth and work with him on the basics so he can be ready to fight whichever Devin Haney wants to show up.” He also said that Devin and Shakur fight a certain way and rarely change the way they fight so he will have Ryan ready to make Devin fight uncomfortable than Ryan can win easily on his terms not forcing the action onto him but to hurt him and just keep Devin not wanting to do what he normally does to get out of uncomfortable situations but rather having to do things he doesn’t feel comfortable doing to try to stay in the fight.
What I notice about him is how he's able to generate power without keeping his back foot planted. Isn't anyone teaching him to use his back leg for power.

This past week ends fight was insane. No way did I expect for Garcia to make a performance like he did. I don't like Ryan but you have to give him all the credit. Flawless victory!! No rematch needed, Haney had his shot and did nothing .

My dad would catch my pitches after school/work for hours. It’s what got me good. Later in the minor leagues I had pitching coaches, batting coaches, etc.
but whenever I got in a slump the only way Id dig myself out was from some father son practice.
