I love how Mike Tyson said he can't be a boxing coach because of his personality yet he's one of the best teachers of the sport without even knowing it.
He knows. He is just not enough patient
I think what he meant was that he is not passionate about pushing someone. He just wants to stay home and relax.
Tyson is saying that because he was coached by the legendary Cus D'Amato. He's basing his opinion on that, which is unfair to him.
I think it's a will problem and not an ability issue.
He said that being a trainer takes as much dedication and attention as being a father. Ain't nobody got time for that
Mike really was the definition of the Calm before the Storm.
Listening to Mike talk in the early 80’s vs late 80’s and 90’s is like listening to two different people. With Cus, Mike was focused, composed, and cerebral. After Cus, he became unstable, angry, and undisciplined. It’s great to see him return to that earlier version of himself later in life.
I don't think so;
When did the false accusation from that lil' yt bi**h happen?
I'd argue that current Mike is a 3rd version. A man of peace and wisdom. From Gladiator to Jedi master
When Cus passed, he lost more than a trainer. So that kinda took a toll, but this mike we have now, I feel Cus is so proud of him 🕊️
The rape charge affected him discipline wise as it would.
He became an angry teenager in a monstrous body with unmatched skill. Dangerous combo 😂

This man never ceases to amaze me even after so many years have passed... He was and is a phenomenon. And he changed so much that it was as if he lived several lives in one. I wish one day I could meet him, look him in the eye and tell him how much he has influenced my life for the better and what a good role model he is even now through the interviews I see with him on social media. He was not only a brilliant athlete, but also became a man who found himself and teaches others how to do the same. When everyone thought he had failed, he was actually on the path to self-realization and had some steps to go, some extremely difficult stages. But he climbed them and here he is today shining even more than in his glory in the world of boxing. Well done master! You changed my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Tyson doesn’t get enough credit for how well he spoke . Even though he was a walking meme before memes were invented.

that's what got me most over his hole personality. when I grew up he's always looked like being characterized as stupid in the media. only later I found out, that he is just as real as it gets. His Words and way of speaking is similar to his boxing
He’s a very intelligent guy no doubt
His speech impediment always led to people ragging on him when I was a kid. Between that and being a boxer he really didn't command any respect as an intellectual, just a beast. You get it! You're the only one who actually understands what he said, in the comments. It's a mental thing. Your eyes see his hands go to your body, that information is passed to your brain which then tells that part to be prepared. Leaving your head vulnerable.
Bracing yourself for a punch is the worst thing to do. Better to relax and let your head/shoulder roll with it
@@swappedoutZ71 well yeah your right sometimes it doubles the impact of a punch..but what i really mean is that our mind got the capability to send signals to our body about an incoming threat allowing it to prepare which makes a punch less damaging.
