Yeah this is one of the v6 muscle cars that’s actually type fast u throw a tune and some bolt ons and full exhaust and you got a 400 plus hp Camaro out of a 3.6. Don’t know that it would last long though
After 5 years, it’s been good! I think, the V6 is the perfect engine for someone that wants cheap on insurance power, sound, efficiency, and reliability. I definitely want a V8, but, you can’t go wrong with the 3.6L.
So I had a 2014 Chrysler 300 hemi 5.7l with a 5 speed auto (bulletproof I loved that transmission) and now have a camaro rs convertible 2017 white with two tone white interior and it's definitely not slow and has the upgraded exhaust but my 300c would definitely kick you in the as$ more even tho it was much heavier

@yuhboinick6455 i’ve a 2023 v6 with the quad exhaust and it’s really good u gonna gap most of the cars on the road and it’s loud at high rpm’s to be stock. i had a corolla 2018 and ofc u feel the difference night and day

@@zooom3491 umm besides the whistling sound at some throttle inputs, it’s a bit deeper than stock at low rpm’s. Otherwise nothing insane. I’m going to get a performance exhaust for more low end sound.
@@ChrisFromFloriduh I haven't even had my Camaro for over a month because I had to get some stuff fixed the temp gauge the coolant sensor my whole infotainment system and it's having the shuttering problem. The dealership I bought it from on April 1st also sold me an extended warranty but they're saying the transmission shutter is not covered so they want me to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. I'm fighting back and forth with them on it because I believe they sold me the car with the shuttering problem. But it was so minor when I bought it. It was hard to detect. They're saying they don't want to pay for it since it occurred after I bought the car. But I refuse to believe that it just developed the shuttering issue a week or two after I bought the car. So I'm telling them I either want them to cover what it cost to get it fixed or I want to cancel the deal and get my money back. It's honestly been a huge headache and I wish I did more research on the common problem with the 8-speed auto
@@ChrisFromFloriduh I understand getting the triple flush for the transmission can fix the problem, but I've also read it's only a temporary fix for some people. So my biggest issue is I don't want to have to pay out of pocket for the triple flush, especially if it only works for a few thousand miles. So at this point I don't really know what to do. Did your Camaro ever have the shuttering issue or were you one of the lucky ones?
@@glusur76 YES, the 8 speed is a transmission is the one thing, I do not have confidence in lol. Mine developed it within the first 2k miles 6 years ago. I had the triple flush done and the torque converter replaced and it finally fixed the issue. What I was told by a GM employee was the fluid from the factory in the 8 speeds absorbed moisture and caused the torque converter to lock and burn basically. If it’s shuddering for too long, a torque converter replacement will need to be done. If you have Facebook, join the 6th Gen Camaro V6 group. There’s also the 6th Gen Camaro group. On top of all this, join the Camaro6 forums on Camaro6.com. I haven’t fully decided if I’m going to upgrade to an SS for the 2024 model year yet, but if I do, I won’t miss the 8 speeds inconsistencies. It’s a great performance transmission, just daily driver aspect…..is concerning. If I’m keeping my car and not upgrading for a bit, I’ll have Tracy Lewis completely overhaul my A8. I actually made a video on my experience insane enough. I usually make a yearly one. I have had some small issues but the shudder was the one I was always worried about.
