I just did this to get lyconroc dusk form and it worked. I got him in less than 10 minutes. Great video I really liked how he explained it. After I got the Pokémon I wanted I adjusted my time back to normal.

Putting the text speed to slow helps out with the timing in case you don't press fast enough since I normally have the text speed at fast since if you don't press the home button in time, you waste a wishing piece

Yes it definitely works. I have been resetting to get Hidden Ability pokemon on the Isle of Armor dens. Need them as parents for my Masuda breeding shiny hunts. 👍👍

@@menacevang605 It's because you can't use a raid beam that was randomly generated by the game. You have to use a wishing piece and create your own raid beam at an empty den. 👍👍

I tried doing the exact same thing you did here, everything is working, I just didn't get the Charizard in an hour of time-skipping, weird for it being a 5% chance

@@jessicabaker6327 Be sure to make sure the raid timer is ticking down before you head out to change the clock. Also, it is possible for the game to choose the same spawn back-to-back. It pulls from the same spawn pool every time. Good luck!

I did this and I messed it up and it saved my game before i could get out but then I checked the red thing and there was a 3 star gigantomax charizard
Yep! Right now GMax Charizard is one of the promoted raids for the current wild area event. So you can find it in red beams all around your wild area. The promoted raids shift from time to time.
I thought they fixed this because I ran into a 3 star turtonator like 4 times in a row, I guess hitting 20% 4 times in a row is not that rare

After you catch the Pokémon, can you change your time back to the normal world time or do you have to keep it on where it is? Will setting the time to normal make your Pokémon go away?
You can set the day back to normal time. I always set it back before I do the raid so that the date on my summary screen is correct.

After I do it can i change the time back so my switch isn't messed up. I already did this with the loto id so if your not supposed to, well...
Edit: I had a little trouble and I didn't know if it still worked. It just did in like 5 minutes! Thx! :( I checked and it was the fire turtle pokemon. But at least I know it works.

I've been trying to figure out what is causing this for you and I haven't been able to make that happen. My beams don't disappear until I finally complete a raid. 🧐🧐

It's not patched. I just did it myself. You need to make sure you hit invite others and start the raid timer first. Make sure you are on local communication so that you don't flash the raid to other people online and then end up cancelling it on them. This works on local communication, which means they need to do a game software update to fix it. Not server maintenance.
Hypnotic Milotic Same issue. I followed your instructions step by step and as soon as I quit the raid after moving the time forward, the beam disappeared.
it only works with the purple beam, if you try with the red one it doesn't work

They're supposed to reset every 24 hours right? Mine havent even tho its been 3 days, the watts u can get from them are but the max battles arent

At 9:45 when I quit the raid the beam of light vanishes and the den becomes empty.
3:33 - That's why I explain that you need a wishing piece. You have to create your own raid beam from an empty den using a wishing piece. If you try this method with a raid beam that has been randomly generated in the wild area by the game it will vanish. Wishing piece is de way.

Why do I sometimes get Charmeleon with a purple bean? it's on the top list so it shouldn't spawn. taking forever to find charizard :(
Charmeleon is part of the purple beam. Months ago when I made this video, I was slightly mistaken about what color beams you need. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the den page on Serebii, and it tells you which specific color beam you need. My apologies. Here's the link to the Charizard den. If you scroll all the way down it will show the only option is a purple beam, but other dens can be different. Hope that helps. 👍👍

You're doing it with a random raid beam that was generated by the game. As I explained in the video, you need to use a wishing piece and create a raid beam yourself. It absolutely works, I've been using it nearly every day. The problem is that people try to skip through videos and miss important details.

I have a question, though. I've used your method and it works. The weird thing is that all the Pokemon I'm getting aren't the same typing. I'm trying to get a Conkeldurr in Rolling Field, but I've got a Corviknight, Toxtricity, and Centiskorch one after the other with the den they suggest.

Nevermind, I've just realised they were all Gigantamax Pokemon! I'm at a Fighting den and Grimmsnarl popped up. Makes sense.

You have to search for players but I recommend you to do it offline. While your searching for lokal players, you have to use the home button and go 1 day further in the settings. Then you go back into your game, close the raid and get a new one pokemon.
What step are you on? Are you talking about when you are resetting for a purple beam? Or do you already have your purple beam and are trying to reset the spawn within the beam?

Yes, it works. It’s a 5% chance each time you reset the beam. Sometimes RNG just be stingy.
I’m only getting 300 watts, instead of 2000. Any ideas ?
Have you beaten the game yet? I don't think I started getting 2,000 watts until after I defeated the champion. I could be wrong because I'm just pulling this from memory, but that might be why.
Hey, I’ve been doing this method for about 30mins now and haven’t even seen a darmanitan raid (which I’m hunting for). Does this just take time? Or is it something else?
Just keep at it. Make sure you are definitely at the correct den for the spawn you're looking for. I've been able to get a Charizard in 10 mins, and some have taken me almost an hour. It's all RNG unfortunately.

Nope. I literally used this method this morning to get a Hidden Ability Heracross raid. Things to keep in mind: You HAVE to use a wishing piece and create your own raid on an empty den. This will not work with a raid beam that was randomly generated by the game. It is also possible to get the same pokemon back to back. It pulls from the same pool of spawns every time. I've had several instances of it, you just have to keep going.
How do I get 2,000 watts? I only get 300 every time. I’ve barely started sword
You'll start getting 2,000 watts from the dens after you've beaten the champion. 👍👍

I honestly am not 100% certain. I have already beaten the game on my own console and don't have an easy way to test. Once I return home from the Holiday I'll take a deeper look. 👍👍

You have to use a wishing piece to create the beam. It can't be a beam the game has already created on it's own. 👍👍

Yup! Changing the date backwards will not affect your spawn or reset the den. You can always go backwards, it's forwards that makes the changes. 👍👍

@@HypnoticMilotic just to make sure, Duraludon/Copperjah, Den 49 in Giants Seat, correct? I've had 2 copperjah but neither Gmax. I assume you see their Gmax form if they are Gmax.

Is it possible to reset during the Raid to get a Pokemon with the Ability you want trying to get a Imposter Ditto.

Can you and another player capture it in the same raid ?
Yup. Once you get the spawn you want you can go online and invite friends with a code. Just make sure theirs doesn’t run before you save your game. If you catch yours and save but theirs runs you’ll have to go back through the whole process again. But if you don’t save you can just soft reset back to the same beam. Hope that makes sense. 👍

i have been trying to get the evee evolutions with the clock trick, now none of them spawn, did i do something wrong?
There are certain things in game that resetting your switch clock doesn't seem to affect. This seems to be one of them, just like the wing items that spawn on the bridge next to the daycare. You can cycle through which eeveelution spawns at the lake of outrage by changing the weather and advancing the clock, but once you catch or defeat it you will have to wait for another eeveelution to respawn naturally. Best bet would be to evolve Eeevees.

Make sure you are resetting a den that you started with a wishing piece. If you simply try to reset a raid that the game spawned on its own, then this won't work and the beam will just disappear. You have to use a wishing piece.

so im shiny hunting charizard so is there a way to just reset the charizard once i find a normal one?, and after i do catch it what would i do next to not ruin my in game clock events?
Unfortunately there's no good way to shiny hunt a GMax Charizard. Once you get a Charizard raid to spawn, you cannot reset your game to get a shiny. It will be the same pokemon with the same IVs and nature every time. If your Charizard isn't shiny, your only option is to complete that raid and go through the process of creating another Charizard raid. Your best bet is to Masuda breed a non GMax charmander to get a regular shiny Charizard. Just the way it is at the moment. If they ever move GMax Charizard into the promoted raid pool, then it will become much easier to hunt.
I have 2 questions do I have to get this after the game or while I’m trying to beat it also how do you get 2000 Wats I only get 300
Gotta beat the game first, then you'll get the 2000 watts and higher level raid spawns.
So do you change the year too if you get through all the days like say I do this for december 1-31, do I then change it to January 1,2020 or just scroll through december again?
I just keep going forward into the next year. Once I get the spawn I want I reset the clock back to present day so that the summary screen is correct when I catch it. 👍👍
Does this work for naturally generating raid beams? I've done this successfully with Wishing Pieces, but I've also tried to time skip on natural purple beams, and they just disappear.

Can i reset dens offline or so no have to be connected with Wi-Fi?
You can do it offline. That's what I recommend so that you don't end up starting and cancelling raids that other people see on their Y Comms. I'm always offline when I do mine. 👍
Do I need a certain amount of badges for this to work or is it all luck based
It will work, but you won't get the rare spawns like GMax Charizard until you beat the game. Until then you'll get lower level raids.
Does making the time go 24 hours effect anything like berry growth or anything else like that?
Yes. I made another video about getting berry trees to respawn berries. It's essentially the same process.
Would this work for dynamax raids that were limited events? For example, I missed out on alcreamie with the ribbon and star sweets, is there any way to go back?
Unfortunately you will not be able to go back in time to get those promoted raids. Those raids are sent out via the internet, and that's why you have to update your wild area news each time a new promoted raid event begins.
Does catching a dinamaxed mon give it better stats?
I think it just has greater HP? But I'm not 100% sure.

Can your game get corrupted from this method?
Myself and several of my other streamer friends have been doing this since launch day and none of us have had any issues. I won't say it's impossible because I can't guarantee that, but I have yet to see an issue.
Isn't there a risk of corrupting your save file by doing this? You're essentially stopping the game's process while it's trying to save.
While I can't rule out the possibility, this is the process that myself and countless others of my streamer friends have been using to reset raid dens. Thousands upon thousands of resets between my friends and I at this point, and none of us or our viewers have reported corrupting a save file yet.
Okay, can this method work for random beams that u find? Like, let's say I find a nice red beam, and I want to see what I can get out of it. I tried the clock thing exactly as you did, but when I came back into the game and quit, the beam disappeared.
