Necro virus on mega brutal is pretty easy though once you get the strategy, you just let it spread, then kill a little, then zombify once the cure is almost complete, then you max zombie travel and the severity, and then get every single country and then you win.
And if they had shut down everything when there were a few isolated outbreaks, it would have. Instead they tried to balance out the "needs of the economy" with a health crisis, and ended up causing a pandemic AND an economic recession. People are fucking stupid.
The Brazilian government did it right. Told people to make their own survivor clans and quarantine on their own risk. “Travel into the rainforests and build there” encouraging survivors to survive on their own
The amazônia Indian tribes would have a better chance to survive, they stay isolated from the rest of civilization and have experience on hunting insects and meat, and they live on the biggest rainforest in the whole world and breath fresh air. Unless one of their cultural stuff or campfires attracts the zombies which wouldn't be so hard to happen since they wouldn't even know the pandemic was happening
“your death is inevitable.” man, my heart sank reading that. i felt a deep, deep sorrow, completely immersed in this and finally reading that last EAS. augh, GREAT job with this one.
yes indeed, but stupid for a government that is responsible for the out break to tell us, the people to give up, instead of a try your best till the end message, I say your dead but not me, if I was alive and somehow reading this message on a screen.
What gave me chills the most is seeing that in the matter of 2 months, the US Government went from caring for their people, and doing everything they can to help keep their people safe, to dropping their people and leading them in their own.
what gave me the heeby jeebies is the statue of liberty icon and at the bottom it saying our country has fallen. and the Nigeria TV EAS. Makes me remove all waste from my body 😳
I think the Cordyceps brain infection from the last of us takes that title. It’s in all of the food exported from South America, meaning a very large portion of the world is infected, it’s a real fungus that can turn ants into zombies but mutated to affect humans, and it keeps the infected alive the entire time
I think the Brazilian message gave me the most chills. The way that they delivered it and at the end when they played the national anthem, that kinda got to me
For real, gotta pay respects to the guy that made it. He knew everything's gone to shit, and the amazon is actually a really good place to hide in, and who knows, maybe the tribals have immunity to K17-PXVI
So chilling how quickly it went from "If you are experiencing symptoms please call authorities and you will be relocated to a quarantine to be monitored" to "if someone shows symptoms consider them dead"
I feel like if people keep ignoring the world health organization, (Not the cdc, the cdc fucking sucks) then covid will evolve to the point where if anyone catches it they are basically dead. Where I live there is already the new recently discovered Delta variant spreading about and people ignoring it. And then what happens? All of them get sick, some of them die while the rest live with long term problems with the lungs and heart. I have family members who are dead or permanently crippled because of this disease and other people are just having parties like it doesn't exist?! I hate those people, they are harming innocents. This disease ain't the flu, this disease needs to be taken seriously and if we people keep ignoring the health officials then I'm afraid the world will become an apocalypse. Not to mention, the doomsday clock is 100 seconds to midnight, that's saying something. I expect a worldwide disaster killing billions within at 2025 at the latest. Prepare yourself, because we are in for a wild ride.
The protesters in King County after realizing they've been the real cause of the extinction of humanity: "I shouldn't have done that. I should NOT have done that."
Tbh I don’t even really blame the protesters ,I blame the military for trying to cover up their failures instead of telling the government officials that they where being overran
Imagine being an alien paleontologist evaluating a planet they discovered that was once inhabited, but collapsed to unknown reasons and left behind massive and even advanced architecture. After finally translating old data recordings, this is what they found.
Im actually currently writing on a game Story concept with a few friends, set in 2031 when an allien Research ship discovers earth, but the Landing team has to find out it was overrun by a zombie epidemic that started 2027. So now the Research team is Stuck in a zombie infested city of a Planet they know nothing of...
Interestingly, the Brazilian Government's final message was probably the best answer: hide deep in the rainforest, adapt, and form settlements within (the Russians probably did the same thing by going deep in the Siberian tundra, and other pockets of humanity likely exist in similarly-harsh environments). The resulting society would be extremely different from what we know and live in today, but humanity would continue without completely regressing to pre-Mesopotamian levels. The rainforest is thick enough that it would discourage infected from exploring every inch of it, if they had the wherewithal to do so, it provides a natural sound barrier, and provided the survivors packed intelligently, bringing along books on botany and herbalism would allow them to gather medical supplies from the surrounding plant life. A lot of these EAS storylines seem to forget just how adaptable humans are; we have research outposts in Antarctica of all places, which are famously self-sufficient (the Concordia in particular is/was the subject of a study on its 15 winter residents due to its living conditions closely replicating those of living in space). We stay in the comfortable, temperate zones because humans are naturally drawn to the path of least resistance, but in a survival scenario the will to live takes over and humans will soldier on through some pretty extreme shit. Hiding new settlements in inhospitable areas reduces the chances of infected finding you, and it only requires 98 people to establish a sustainable, non-inbred population (according to a study based on the population necessary for a long-term space flight to one of the Earth-like habitable worlds found with high-powered telescopes with the intent of colonizing and restarting the human race); fewer if one were to deem mild inbreeding an acceptable risk or concession to necessity.
I remember watching an end of the world movie about huge natural disasters caused by the ice caps melting which somehow led to several hurricane shaped storms (snow storms) that *freeze every god damn thing it gets near* where the protagonist, a researcher, has to travel head first into danger to rescue his kid and their friends, who try to survive locked up in the town library by high levels of water from a tsunami/flood which freezes I forgot the name of it for some reason, but it’s pretty interesting But anyways, the characters seem like average people in the beginning, but as the film gets closer and closer to ending, we learn just how great people are at surviving with what they have, like when the characters start using books from the library as fuel for a fire to keep them alive
What scared me is how the quality of the warnings got worse in quality, and how hopeless the messages began to get. Very well done. Edited for grammar cause someone was a killjoy.
I'm a brazillian (Not that anyone cares but anyways) and I live in Rio de Janeiro, seeing the virus reach MY country by an airport on my city gave me chills, even thought there were some error (Like the North having the Amazon, not the Northeast),the end made me chill out cold bro,I even singed the anthem the second time I watched. It was sad as f*ck

Honestly I wish more zombie books and movies focused on THIS part of the outbreak. You usually get MAYBE a chapter and then picks up weeks to years later. In my opinion, this and the mass confusion etc is the interesting part.
Totally agree. I thought I was alone in thinking this 😅 Seems the case for so many virus stories (not just the zombie variety). So little effort put into the coolest phase, so much effort put into the boring aftermath phase
Not sure if you've heard of them, but a couple of good books in case you haven't: - World War Z (the book, not the unrelated movie that took its name) is fantastic for this, maybe the genre defining go to for zombie outbreaks, but half the book is the build up of the outbreak from different perspectives around the world - This Rotten World, for a more character driven one, set in Portland OR and follows a cast of like 20 different characters throughout the first few days of the outbreak (no spoilers, but there's not as many by the end). There's like 5 books after that first one, but the first is the best and a decent stand alone story

"Our country has fallen." As an American, this is the single scariest message I have heard in an EAS scenario. The USA is supposed to act as a beacon of hope and source of power, and it collapsed in just a year to a few microbes. Thank god COVID-19 had passed BEFORE I watched this, otherwise I would have panicked when it happened.
America, like all of Europe (including Russia), will inevitably fall when Muslims become the majority in our countries and give us an ultimatum to convert to Islam or die. It's unavoidable. This is worse than the zombie virus because they are intelligent. Do you think it's nonsense? This has already happened to great powers with millions of people, like Byzantium. Now there are only wild ghettos where crime reigns
Gotta give you credit, this is the most believable and terrifying "zombie apocalypse as described by news updates" I've ever heard. And I've heard a load. If I ever make a zombie movie, I'm going to offer you a role in production for damn sure!
Directly from Portugues it translates to “Brasil exists no longer.”, “Brasil does not exist anymore,” or “Brasil no longer exists.” Not something pleasant to hear from your federal government.
Holy crap, that final message is terrifying. In the end, instead of telling the Americans to stay safe and do their best to survive, they just straight up say that humanity is screwed and everyone will die. That final line. “Maybe on day, it can be reinstated…” is a tiny glimmer of hope, but an empty one nonetheless. Well done on making me feel sad and scared at once.
In multiple works of fiction the military deploys "firebombing" to deal with the infected as a last ditch effort. It may be scary, but should a real pandemic occur that doesn't solve itself by quarantine zone, the government would most like firebomb entire cities, including any survivors.
Man, the end of Brazil was spine chilling. The way it was presented so differently from the others, the delivery of each line, the way the anthem played one last time before eerily being cut off, it's just so... masterfully tragic.
It was very poorly researched, though. The Northeast isn't even the most rural region of the country, in fact it's the third most urbanised out of the five. Also, the Northeast is mostly sertão (savannah), so there aren't many forest in there for people to hide. Also, while we are a rather self-deprecating people at times, that bit about the "poor living conditions in this country" felt like it was written by an American who knows nothing about the country and was like "uh Brazil third world so everything sucks there" lol Some Brazilian states have a HDI level on par with southern European countries, and a bunch of others are on par with eastern European ones.
@@RevanSurik I was mainly talking about how cryptic it came off as, but by no means do I disrespect nor disregard what you have to say here. It wouldn't hurt to put a little more research into something like this to add more depth to it, especially since people from all over the world will come across this.
@@TheSmashWaffle It's ok, I didn't think you were being disrespectful ;) It's just that the Brazil section really took me out of the story. Playing the anthem at the end was a nice touch tho, I could definitely see that happening in an actual doomsday announcement by the Brazilian government lol
I think scenarios like this stopped being created because we were in a pandemic, it’s hard to be scared by a fictional death virus when we’re already in an actual death virus. I do hope people continue to make more EAS videos.
@@sgticecoldwater Death virus is pushing it, while a ca 3.4% mortality rate is high and should be taken seriously, I'd say calling it a death virus a stretch.
@@Solitude_Guard_ say it to india ... while i understand that the virus letality is low when treated , the repercursion around it and the danger whit no medical support are way stronger . considerate that evry 100 ppl, 3,4 dies right now on the whole planet. it would be a disaster . what is a deadly virus for you ?
@@unknow11712 The 3.4% is the world average taken from WHO (World Health Organization). Where I'm from the mortality rate of the corona virus sits at around 0.06%. Of course a disease will be more dangerous to people who do not have access to medical treatment, but that's not exclusive to the corona virus, that's the case for just about any disease. So I still think that calling the Corona Virus a "death virus" is pushing it since the world average mortality rate hasn't even hit double digits.
This is truly a depressing ending we had, there was no society being rebuilt, the government had died off, thats when it hit, your alone. Great ending man! Gave me the shivers.
There's just one thing extremely uncanny about the Brazil EAS. The EAS had so much detail put into it. The dialogues, the intro, the outro, everything.
@@RussianAidenYou should see how we used to sing the anthem in school. Kids spaced evenly in a room with their right arm on the person in front of them’s shoulder and if the person is too short, the person can hover their hand over their shoulders.
And the amount of Americans that own guns, there is absolutely no way that a zombie virus would not be contained or stopped especially with the weapons we have, also if it did somehow take over the US and spread to other European countries its likely they would quickly quarantine or something of the sort much quicker as they already know what's going on
Honestly the best one i have ever listened to. This guy does eas scenarios like no other. The sound effects, to voice acting, to theatrics. Well done. Makin me wanna be a voice actor on this!
the australian broadcast ending with “There is light at the end of the tunnel. We will survi-i-i-“ and cutting off, straight into the brazilian admission of defeat is so effective, and the brazilian broadcast itself is haunting
As a brazilian, that outcome would most likely happen. Although our current government is more reliable for response against public health emergencies - unline our previous government - we would still offer little capacity for resilience against a virus like that. We are, however, in general, aware of basic hygiene, but in a situation like this, just like it was with SARS-CoV-2, there would be some people that would deny the existence of a public health emergency and would would be in complete diregard with safety measures. Our infrastructure, in general, is poor as well. With the amount of problems we face here, the brazilian political institution would be virtually destroyed in a matter of weeks.
The Brazil announcement was the most unsettling, the background, the text, the way they were saying "Brazil is no more, The president is dead" like jeez this was really well made
People: "Free Seattle, they're like Prisoners! Lets support their riot and break the Blockade!" *Military Blockade Fails* Also people: "WTF, Military? Why'd you screw up and let the Virus out?" Military: "..."
To be fair, the spread of the virus in this scenario could have been easier to at least slow down if the military had been honest about the blockade being breached.
One thing that people in this scenario outside seattle doesnt know ithe riot inside seattle area that one side think they fought for freedom while one side think they stupid for not want lockdown or contain the virus Is not a riots defying lockdown It was infected people are mutated became rabies homicide zombies that spread through airborne
I would feel the same, if I hadn't already heard it before in fictional scenarios- and see the reasoning behind it. While it is immoral they should have wiped the source when it appeared as much more than a simple flu, it's the only way to ensure it doesn't get out

This is actually the first EAS that has genuinely scared me. It looks so real especially with all the different voices, especially the 911 part, that was awesome. Great job on this.
This EAS was the least scary of them all because we know exactly how the US gov would cencor mainstream media and social media - we've seen it during covid. Were you dead during the last 2 years? Are you a zombie?
Don't worry this is near impossible and if this senerio did play out the government would have done a way better job (unless it's air born which it's probably not) if it's not air born then the world will survive (if it starts in North or south America or island assuming governments are quick to react)
I love how in this scenario the virus doesn't make all infected zombies in a matter of hours, but rather evolving slowly, thus making people riot against the military. Really good job
fun fact if a zombie outbreak happend it would only last around 3 days beacuse they will deteriorate or rot away beacuse of weather and other natral cases
The part that confuses me the most is where and how did the plaxiavirus come from? My theory is that a person who studied science living in Seattle must have been studying filoviridae, the same virus family that plaxiavirus was said to belong in. This person must have had collected a sample of either Ebola or Marburg somehow and must have modified the virus sample in some way to increase its volatility and study how it may spread and the effects it has on the human body. But the virus must have escaped containment either with the person trying to dispose and it then spreading, or if this person ended up contracting the virus themselves and started to spread it without him knowing. Whatever it was, it was just one person’s actions that caused the downfall of much of humanity and society as a whole as we currently know it.

I love how there is no footage of the virus or any imagery showing the people who are infected. This is just as if you were in this situation watching the world slowly collapsing through news broadcasts and EAS alerts. And I love how this story is only for you to depict like is it really gruesome looking zombies or an actual virus like COVID destroying your immune system and an alternate timeline if this was the case. This is by far one of the best psychological horror films/stories I watched. Amazing work for the storywriters, voice actors and editors. I see a great future in this channel with these stories 😁
Ikr, like the ones who sees the infected person is limited to their own living space with little to no rations, water and electricity, not even including the data of the video tape of the virus (I'll give it 1-5 minutes for practical phone or camera memory in the current state) because it will take forever to upload it, but there's nowhere to upload it as well, society at that moment have partially collapsed, people are in a panic mode, infected overrunning, etc... so internet could have collapsed like most of social media
This would have to be the case of the zombies being fully alive and not rotting; as zombies you would see in The Walking Dead for example would not survive very long; as natural predators such as maggots would get attracted to them and rain will tear them apart. It said in the video that the virus takes over the brain or at least changes how someone thinks so they become uncontrollably violent.
Had this occurred 20 years ago, you'd be right: little to no images or video of the virus or victims. Today, we have social media, the Internet, and most people owning smart phones, so news would spread quickly. Granted, it might not be easy to discern the truth from falsehoods. The 9-11 call was still excellent.

@@KenanTheFab Well if they're dealing with an as-of-point incurable virus on-par or worse than Ebola, they cant risk that spreading through the entire country because some twidiots got angy that they have to stay home a bit more and cant leave the city they leave in.

I forgot the name of it for some reason, but it’s pretty interesting

It was very poorly researched, though. The Northeast isn't even the most rural region of the country, in fact it's the third most urbanised out of the five. Also, the Northeast is mostly sertão (savannah), so there aren't many forest in there for people to hide.

Yeah, this story is really cool I love the use of all that. And they released 911 calls, brilliant!
Had this occurred 20 years ago, you'd be right: little to no images or video of the virus or victims. Today, we have social media, the Internet, and most people owning smart phones, so news would spread quickly. Granted, it might not be easy to discern the truth from falsehoods. The 9-11 call was still excellent.

its scary that its so realistic
IMO the overkill statements of "You will be killed" kinda took me out? I feel like it oculd have been a bit more subtle or have waited until the shit really hit the floor
@@KenanTheFab Well if they're dealing with an as-of-point incurable virus on-par or worse than Ebola, they cant risk that spreading through the entire country because some twidiots got angy that they have to stay home a bit more and cant leave the city they leave in. So Lethal Force could be used if protestors began acting violently (i.e. they were advancing on the law enforcement and military personnel, thus disregarding their orders to leave peacefully and allowing their lives to be forfeit.)
So it's reasonable, in my opinion, for the Law and Government to use Lethal Force if it is necessary to quarantine a virus that could cripple the nation. People are idiots and don't listen because they're blind to their own safety.
I don't understand how they could have passed the blockade to begin with... Since most people after hearing a gun shot or seeing dead people will run away not push forward.
