This is just so great - like you can definitely take the light off the tank when you have a party. Seriously though this gives us a much better idea about the colors than anything I have seen before. I'd be much more happy buying the light now as the spectrum does look pretty broad - like the lime is almost a yellow. Still I run my lights Gen4s very blue with some peaks of white during the day - I even have the royal blue turned down a bit at night. My question now really is all about the need for T5s - I think with the spread this produces you can run the light higher and don't need the t5s on a 60x60. But say you had a tank that was 120x80 with 2 XR15s - will the T5s on a Hybrid spread further than the XR15s? My guess is that you may just be doubling up on the LED with the T5s and the XR15 would probably reach further than the 2 T5s on the outside. I think there would be very little value in running the Hybrid and you would get a cleaner look (and cheaper) to run just the XR15s - I'd maybe put a supplemental bar on the front and the back. Anyhow the BRS XR15 tests will tell me more about the Par but so far these are the perfect light - I mean they look amazing at 100% on all channels so you are not wasting any LEDs - to me they look like the best value light on the market. In 6 months though everyone is going to have Blue versions of their lights coming out.

I'm currently making a video about Radion G5 Pro and Blue will all T5 Combination, I think it's going to be a first on UA-cam, never seen anyone this and... I understand why after making the visual and data :P. T5 Is still relevant in my opinion, it bring wider spectrum and wider coverage. For the PAR I would simply rely on the Radion light. I could make a video about the PAR since I have the tool but I want to do it with a Spectrometer, unfortunately it's very expansive 3k$. Plus I still refuse putting ad on my video but if I don't see a progression from YT with the suggest and rank search I will activate them. YT prompt video with AD.

Probably the Blue is fine for LPS and softies but that rabbit hole made me think that very few LEDs actually have the spectrum to grow acros. Now if I was gonna get the Blues I'd definitely get T5's (I'm in Europe so the Stellar) and from the back I'd have KZ Fiji Purple, then 6500k (Giesmann), ATI Actinic and then another KZ Purple. The problem as I understand is that 390-420nm it's hugely important to acros, as is the red end (>650) and LEDs generally miss these (I think Orphek and Reefi do a good job in this area from what I read). If I was going to go Radions I'd still get the Blues after this research but I'd definitely add in those T5s Can't wait for the data with the T5s ;)
I have the Radeon XR 30 Gen 5 pro. I like the light but the only thing I wish they would change is the red to Amber like Orphic have. As red light tends to induce algae growth I only have read at 5% max.
The app is supposed to be easy but I’ve been trying to figure it out for hours, like 3 hours already, the circle where it shows the mood and the sun is all black, idk how to make it normal. It’s not as simple for me seems very complicated
Box inside totally damaged. Some people have issues with cracking lights during shipping because of cheap box holding light unit . For this price it should be in sponge
A expensive lamp, and like the previous versions, there is no dollar left to put some cheap mounting wires into the bundle. But wait a minute, the "cheap" mounting system you can buy for 50€ (in EU) I really love Apple and Ecotech Marine
I will buy the diffuser to get better blending for the spectrum, disco effect too present to my taste. That light seem to still be a monster PAR though

Fan noise is not great coverage and spectrum blending is really good but fan noise is worse than Gen 4

My fan noise is very quite at 40%
again with the power bricks. cant get away from those stupid things... my light outlets are on the ceiling. these bricks suck ass
