- Exploring Bradgate Park - The former home of Lady Jane Grey.
A visit Bradgate Park in Leicestershire.
We explore the extensive parkland searching for the deer, the follies, the ancient Oak trees and the ruins of the hall.

Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Interesting place. 👍
Enjoyed the video very much! During WW2 my mother had a penpal from Leicestershire . pardon my spelling if it is incorrect. They had never met until 1980. We were in England ,and this friend and her husband took our family to this area. Fascinating ,as I have always loved history. Think I was 14 years old at that time. Thankyou for this vid!
Thank you for watching! Interesting to hear about you connection to the area!
Had a nice picnic there many years ago.Interesting spot.

Thank you! :)
Part of my old stomping ground years ago. . .
Thank you for joining me!
House ruins are open occasionally as is the tower. Need to see the park's FB for details. I thought the river was the river Lin in the park.
Thank you for letting me know! Interesting you say its the River Lin. I called at the "Little Matlock River" as the AA walk I was following had called it that. But then I later saw it being called the River Lin so I'd have thought that latter was right. Not sure is there is a reason behind the AA calling it the Little Matlock River?
its pronounced newtown linford & old john hill is hunts hill
just up the road from me
Is that where lady Jane last came here
Yes, she lived on the estate!
@@HenrysAdventures oh right ok
Hi I was going to say imagine if lady Jane grey or Mary queen of Scots were never killed and one of them became queen of England what would have happened if lady Jane grey was queen in 1603 or Mary queen of Scots if she was queen in 1603 do you think they would have ruled England well if one of them were queen or do you think most likely both of them would have been dead since they would be on there 60s what do you think would have happened if lady Jane grey or Mary queen of Scots took the English throne I would love to know your thoughts and opinions thanks and I love this video
Thank you for watching! It could have all been very different!
@@HenrysAdventures yeah what do you think if one of them was queen of England
Hi Henry, I love your videos but just an observation, could you show more landscape while you're walking instead of so much of you?
I'll see what I can do! Thanks for the feedback!
It would be nice to see some of the landscape but its also nice to look at Henrys handsome face!
Your films are great, but please do something about the sound. A lot of your commentary is unintelligible. Sorry to be negative.
Thank you! I did have a mic but with the wind this strong and only making a passing visit I had to make the best of the visit.
