The good Daedra didn't really do anything for the Chimer/Dunmer. Look at the Dunmer now. The Tribunal did lots for the Dunmer and they were stronger than ever when ruled by the tribunal
The good daedra are the ones who guided the Chimer and created their culture. Morrowind’s greatest saint and leader was a devoted of the three good daedra and was guided by Azura, Nerevar’s time is called the peak of Velothi culture and is why he is idolised. Sotha Sil who criticised Azura for being to absent eventually became even more absent then Azura ever was. Vivec held Vvardenfell hostage with Baar Dau. Almalexia became to protective. Due to the Tribunal the Dunmer were coddled and eventually their culture stagnated due to being coddled. It was the Tribunal betraying Nerevar and refusing to unbind the Heart that lead to Dagoth Ur coming back and threatening to spread Corpus to all of Morrowind and possibly all of Tamriel. Azura sent the Nerevarine do stop Dagoth Ur, who killed Almalexia due to her going insane and killing Sotha Sil. Azura helped Vivec save Morrowind during ESO and she also warned many Dunmer about the Red Year before it happened. Boethiah and Mephala created the foundations of Velothi culture.

I'm confused. The daedra are literally "not their ancestors." It's not just the name; they're the et'ada that DIDN'T aid Lorkhan in the creation of Mundus.
By ancestors the Chimer/Dunmer mean their mortal ancestors. Hence the Ghostfences which they put up using remains of their loved dead ones to protect them. Hence they hate necromancy so vehemently because basically it uses dead bodies for profane practices. The main reason they stopped venerating the Aedra is the rest of the Aldmers' (at that time, back in Merethic Era) 'anti- Lorkhan attitude'i think. Because the Dunmer are essentially Padomaics or 'pro-Lorkhan'..That lead them eventually to become Daedra followers 😉

Hey Scott, Michael and Drew. I have an interesting question for you. I’ve come back to Skyrim after venturing off into the land of red dead and Ancient Greece and opened a new character with the express challenge of being able to functionally play every faction without break role play. It has proven extraordinarily interesting and a ton of fun. I know how I am doing this and the path i chose but would love to see how you guys pull it off. (The master came close, but didn’t hit every faction.) Obviously one cannot be both imperial and stormcloak or Dawnguard and vampire in the end. I’ve solved the stormcloak / imperial in my head... the Dawnguard / vampire is proving a bit more difficult though.
@@the_dropbear4392 I wouldn't say it's completely wrong, I get why they would say that because in aesthetic terms it makes sense. It's only when you get to the lore that's not visually apparent that their inspiration takes a turn towards very different sources.
I'd like to see a video on Dunmer funeral customs. I've bern in so many temples & tombs yet I'm still confused by the Dunmer way of disposing of the dead. There are ash pits with bones. Are they cremated there? If so, how is the smoke vented? Shouldn't there be soot on the walls & ceiling? What's up with the urns? There is bone meal in them. How did that get in there? I can understand that the Dunmer would wish to keep dead bodies out of the hands of necromancers, but what is the process?
Just curious - do you guys plan on doing a lore series per race? That’d be cool but obviously time consuming so like I said just curious Also - do you guys have a public schedule for builds (they used to be weekly) is there any new plan for them - just curious
Hi everybody, could someone explain me what is this about? I landed here because I got hypnotized last week and I apparently talked about an angel called Veloth. Thank you for your precious help🙏
It's about lore in a rpg game series called the elder scrolls You probably heard it before Elder scrolls V: Skyrim is one of the most purchased games ever Basically it's a fantasy world in a game with lore and history
There is only one god the creator of everything, no daedra gods, no aedra gods, no Aetherius gods just the GOD of everything - Satakal, when he will eat his heart everything will start a new
I think now that they have made Blades for mobile that they should continue with remastered or remade versions of elder scrolls travels shadow key and Battlespire
Who would take the time to dislike this? Why are you even watching? Wtf? I am perplexed. Even if you weren't interested in TES lore, why take the seconds necessary to click the thumbs down? It makes me hate portions of humanity when I see either, purposeful disrespect simply to be a dick or someone who thinks their opinion matters so much, that they should take the time to dislike any video they don't love. I have watched thousands of hours of youtube videos. Never thumbs downed a single one.
If Veloth would be bought into the timeline where the main story of Morrowind takes place, he would beat every single Hlaalu to death for being a disgrace to the Dunmeri culture.
i wonder, is it posible to do what the tribunal did before without cheating like they did...that is to say become as close to an actual god as any creature of flesh can, immortal infinitely powerfull ect ....the only being i know of whos come close is a certain sorcerer who lives in a small commune on the edge of Vvardenfell....who probly died when red mountain blew its top unless he saw it coming and bailed out. and im not talking about acheiving chim either because that just plunks you down in the realm of the divines and with the same restrictions as them
I wonder why meridia isnt considered a good daedra. Or even malacath considering neither of them are as evil as the others. I guess maybe malacath doesnt fit as well because he tried to stop them from breaking away from audra worship but meridia is pretty easy to see as a good daedra.
Similar journey yes. They both led their people and devoted their lives to their people. Veloth led his people into the promised land. Moses got them close.

Same honestly
Another great blessing of a video
This stuff is why I subscribed
Who’s hyped for fudges 300th lore video🎉🎉I vid away
Morrowind: exists
Veloth: It's free real estate ;)
Dwemer: *Excuse me what the f*ck*
I'd like to see a video on Dunmer funeral customs. I've bern in so many temples & tombs yet I'm still confused by the Dunmer way of disposing of the dead. There are ash pits with bones. Are they cremated there? If so, how is the smoke vented? Shouldn't there be soot on the walls & ceiling? What's up with the urns? There is bone meal in them. How did that get in there? I can understand that the Dunmer would wish to keep dead bodies out of the hands of necromancers, but what is the process?
The moses of TES
Did you guys do a review video of outward? I see a lot of people saying it's a really great rpg and immediately thought of you guys.
Sounds like we've found the perfect weapon to fight the thalmor with
Can you make a video about all the different Saints of which you can find shrines in Morrowind?
That would be awesome.
I love these videos, but the volume keeps getting lower and lower to the point I have to listed on 3/4 full just to hear your voice my dude.
I love this guy
Good video, keep em coming XD
Dunmer are my favorite race
Just curious - do you guys plan on doing a lore series per race? That’d be cool but obviously time consuming so like I said just curious
Also - do you guys have a public schedule for builds (they used to be weekly) is there any new plan for them - just curious
What a legend
Veloth seems to be a violent combination of Ghandi and Buddha! XD
Nuclear Gandhi?
Hey could you guys make a necromancer build , like the litch , but with ordinator , andromeda and imperious.
As an ardent Platonist, Veloth and his teaching offend me on the deepest level.
Haha
Thanks for The video
Hi everybody, could someone explain me what is this about? I landed here because I got hypnotized last week and I apparently talked about an angel called Veloth. Thank you for your precious help🙏
It's about lore in a rpg game series called the elder scrolls
You probably heard it before Elder scrolls V: Skyrim is one of the most purchased games ever
Basically it's a fantasy world in a game with lore and history
Please do the lore videos about Nordic and Dunmer wars
There is only one god the creator of everything, no daedra gods, no aedra gods, no Aetherius gods just the GOD of everything - Satakal, when he will eat his heart everything will start a new
Is that a sliced goat cheese wheel at 5:26 ?
If you don’t love the Dunmer, then you’re not Elder Scrollsing right.
If Veloth would be bought into the timeline where the main story of Morrowind takes place, he would beat every single Hlaalu to death for being a disgrace to the Dunmeri culture.
i wonder, is it posible to do what the tribunal did before without cheating like they did...that is to say become as close to an actual god as any creature of flesh can, immortal infinitely powerfull ect ....the only being i know of whos come close is a certain sorcerer who lives in a small commune on the edge of Vvardenfell....who probly died when red mountain blew its top unless he saw it coming and bailed out.
and im not talking about acheiving chim either because that just plunks you down in the realm of the divines and with the same restrictions as them
It’s too bad that there isn’t enough lore to make a decent length video about Jyggalagg.
Can you do a video on Di'Vath Fear?
Make a video of Antus Pinder’s deafeat
I want that hammer.
Im surprised he didnt bring them to Tahiti, have some god damn faith!
you rock
Are you going to do any new Fallout videos? At the very least a new build for ES5 or FO4?
I hope that Duskfang/Dawnfang will appear in Elder Scrolls 6.
Not unless we go to the Shivering Isles
Don't worry, it'll be in a loot box .0000001% chance for defeating the boss in a Daedric temple end game trial for 12 member groups.
Crazy android keyboard in smartphones.
I wonder why meridia isnt considered a good daedra. Or even malacath considering neither of them are as evil as the others. I guess maybe malacath doesnt fit as well because he tried to stop them from breaking away from audra worship but meridia is pretty easy to see as a good daedra.
Old comment but meridia isn't good I think fudgemuppet talked about it in their podcast
I only worship the Nord's Gods with the exception of Talos
Can you make a build for me
hmmm veloth sounds a bit like Moses
Red Eagle, not the point he was making.
Similar journey yes. They both led their people and devoted their lives to their people. Veloth led his people into the promised land. Moses got them close.
Red Eagle, he told them to follow those who would help them reach literal enlightenment and keep their sacred traditions
Ahem.
*Oyfum*
Thank you for listening.
Guys when's the next skyrim build coming?
Can you make a snow elf build 😕
Bro do about Snow Prince or DwemerKing Dumac and make about general Tullius past
Finally
You should really start using clips from eso
534 likes and 1 dislike at the time of viewing this. Why 1 dislike? What did this guy not like?
You know Velothi's teachings soun a lot like Buddhism tbh. Or perhaps taoism.
The comandments
Now we got to wounder, What if he never took the journey?
Then the dwemer would probably have completed Numidium
@@GlidusFlowers No. Kagrenac still would've effed it up, especially if they zero summed (would happen regardless).
Frederick Sweeney, he was furious and struck the heart in fury if I remember correctly. Probably would have helped if he were calm/professional at the time
Can you bring back fo4 builds
Sheogorath is the god of cheese
I thought this was going to be a video about DMT
5:39 where is that?
nice
