I would be extremely happy if you managed to create new presets in the future for this one...Something like PAT METHENY's lot of sounds,included his synth singing trumpet guitar,etc...Or AL DI MELOLA's sounds...but also maybe JOHN SCOFIELD,GEORGE BENSON,BILL FRISELL,LEE RITENOUR,LARRY CARLTON ..etc that will be absolutly AMAZING instrument !..many many thnx ! 🙏@@straightaheadsamples

This is insanely good. I have been using guitar sample libraries for 15 years and this is incredible. Would LOVE to see this tech applied to some other electric guitars (Les Paul or other hard rock oriented) and acoustic guitars.
Can the guitar be tuned down from Standard at all?

Is there any reason vibrato is only working on with the pick setting, and not the fingers setting? I'm on v1.3.4b

Truly awesome Trey! Any possibility of the "Smart Delay Plugin" being adapted to previous SA Libraries? Like Birth of the Trumpet, and others, or is that not technically possible because they were developed quite awhile ago?
It's possible. The Smart Delay script was re-written from the ground up to work with the plugin, but it's possible to do it to the other libraries. Would be a lot of work, but we'll see what the response is like.
Trey@@straightaheadsamples Thanks for taking the time to answer my question regarding the "Smart Delay Plugin" being adapted to previous SA Libraries..I'm sure it would INDEED be a ton of work, but IMHO would definitely make for a much more potent product line up overall, staving off premature aging of your Libraries as well..Aat any rate I sincerely appreciate all the foresight you have already shown to be so far ahead of nearly any other developers in true to life audio replication...BRAVO!!
Crazy good! Was waiting for this one!!! :D Love the fact that you can play it with just mic sound. Hopefully you can make an old school (Freddie Green) mockup to hear it in action! ;) I think smart delay is crucial for a guitar plugin to play this realistic. And also you don't have to think so much about technical stuff and just focus on the music... but on the other hand you also have all the ability to tweak it to your heart's content! Maybe the only thing left to figure out is how to make vibrato and string bends as realistic as the other stuff...or maybe you have but I didn't hear it with smart delay. Have you thought about making any other guitars? Like a strat, tele or maybe even nylon and steel string guitar... django style is also an option...if you do that people will buy only your guitars from then on hahaha...oh, and an acoustic L4 would be nice too. Bass would probably benefit from smart delay also. My god the possibilities!! :D Anyway imho probably the best (most realistic) guitar on the market from what I heard so far!

Yes! Falls and Doits are available with chords.
@@straightaheadsamples lovely! What about poly legato? So more nuanced slides/grace notes? Is that something the engine handles? Say a chord into another with a downward slide of one fret?
Why they just doesn't make a regular VST for this program??? Why always the full version of Kontakt??? It makes no sense to me....ijs
Because for sample libraries, Native Instruments has done half the work for you by providing you with the scaffolding to create your libraries while concentrating on the samples and scripting without the need for a full team of C++ developers to build a full plugin from scratch. Doing it as a Kontakt instrument requires exponentially less time, money, people, and effort, and also gives the developer and users the benefit of a stable, supported and maintained platform, which is one of the industry standards for sample libraries.
