I work at a Lexus Dealership. I fucking love this car. The sound when it starts, the ultrasonic blue color looks amazing. We did a custom GSF lowered on 18" Vossens it looked crazy. Only thing I wish is Lexus gave this car more horsepower
luigynkaren062011 If you load any car with features things will break. The days of cars leaving you on the side of the road are somewhat behind us if you take care of these new cars properly. The addition of several new technologies define a new sense of reliability for consumers such as sensors or other nit-picking parts breaking.
+BaldCreations 😂😂😂😂 are you kidding me? behind us? since when i see many new American's cars on the road all the times what do you mean. do you live in a cave? can you even prove that theres not many facts to prove that as theres not many miles on them. are you a wizard that can tell the future of cars lol.
luigynkaren062011 Defects are going to happen anywhere but a properly assembled vehicle of most brands will be reliable for a long time now. Cost cutting engineering decisions cause the faults
Just bought a low mileage 2017 GS F at a fantastic deal, this Lexus rocks ! Atomic silver with this circuit red interior. This thing is a head turner and gets lots of looks. Great review, Matt. You get this car as I do. Drive one and you will understand.
The BEST four door Japanese car money can buy. This car is epic and that 5.0 engine is one of the best engines on the market. True drivers car ! Well done again Lexus. Can't wait to see the LC500
I've been contemplating a Camaro. It's more in my budget, etc. I can live with the interior which is a little outdated but they have one of the UGLIEST dash / instrument cluster around. Whoever approved that should leave.
Really nice feature when you split the screens while taking the corners to give us both a view of you in the car as well as the road itself. Awesome to see your video production quality improving with every video!
I've always liked the Remote Touch Interface. Had an RX and GS and loved the systems, so it's good to hear a little praise since everyone seems to hate it.
Great review Matt. *Brilliant car with a great engine, helped with Yamaha. The 4.8 V10 from the LFA could have made this car more competitive to its german rivals but i'm sure that V10 must be very expensive to make, compared to the 5.0 V8 used here*
No. This looks nth like a Camry the does the Camry has bottom intake openings on the front bumper and a big mesh grill with LED day time running lights ? Blind fool
Recently just purchased a 2014 GS350 F sport. V6. The first thing i was blown away by was ... how how beautiful the interior of the car is. Is it exactly like this one in the video. I just can't get past that. It looks kinda bad and funny in pictures. Actually thats what always held me back. I never liked it in pictures But by God, i cannot believe how utterly beautiful it is. And i drove many new luxury cars, especially German. Oh. This is at a different level.
Do it. I test drove it and I own the 3.6L cadillac ats. I can't afford anything crazy, but I have already took my Cadi to the shop a few times. All under warranty, but my GF has a lexus and it has zero problems and not a rattle after 5 years. Never drove cts-v or ats-v and I am sure they are awesome since I love my car but that lexus was amazing and it is nice knowing you will not be visiting the shop annually or worse.
I have a 2014 IS350 F sport and I think Lexus has everyone beat in all around packaged. My IS drives so smooth for sitting low to the ground and low profile tires. Lexus interiors are on a level by their selves.
Great review as always. It's great you hit on the fuel economy of the two cars but I wouldn't rate too heavy on it, unless you actually drove in their "Eco" modes and tried to get the best mpg. Again good job on giving us your mpg and your driving style at the time. It puts it into a good perspective☺️
Reminds me of the new BMW 5 series as far as luxury goes. They have that same track pad thing for the infotainment but it's so much painless to operate because you can touch the screen too. It's nice that Lexus gives you that rough V8, sporty feel with the exhaust and whatnot. BMW is all about refinement so it's not exciting even though they're crazy fast in sport plus mode, they're way too quiet and easy. If only the Germans were more V8-happy for the enthusiasts' budget... Great review!
I bought a bran new Isf in 2008 man that car was fun... I cross shopped c63 and m3 and even ctsv but went with Lexus. After 4 years and zero issues I had to trade for a suv 2 little kids later. I miss that now I am looking for this makes me want to buy one asap. They are still priced little high should be around 70
why lexus? do you still use those silly goose neck style hinges for the boot lid? but still, love this car! And man i reckon subaruwrxfan should have much more subs... he gives reasonable compliment and giving understandable criticism.
I'm running 275 wide pilot super sports on my 13 GS350 F sport and it still has trouble putting power down in first gear. I wish it had a limited slip diff.
I know he verbally said this car is 9 tenths the fun of the CTS V. But reactions do not lie. when he floored the CTSV he squealed like a school girl seeing her favorite celebrity crush. In this video, he is obviously power spoiled because though he smile you can tell he is like "yeah, definitely NOT the 640 horsepower beast".
with the fuel economy I think that is due to the fact that you use more of the power in the Cadillac if you use any of the power you would be going over the speed limit
BornToBeFamed i have a 2011 is250 for daily and 2014 gx460 for family car. I really can't decide between these 2, cause for the price of a 2010 gtr, you can get a 16 gsf lol.
$80k for something that is not that fast. Notice at the end of the video when he gives the pluses and minuses of his driving experience he didn't list "fast" as one of the pluses, although, he did mention that it is fast earlier in the video but it isn't fast enough for him to list it as a Plus, which means it just isn't worth it for $80k.
I work at a Lexus Dealership. I fucking love this car. The sound when it starts, the ultrasonic blue color looks amazing. We did a custom GSF lowered on 18" Vossens it looked crazy. Only thing I wish is Lexus gave this car more horsepower
No more/matching torque with that added hp
When ever Matt gets really excited and giddy, I can't help thinking of the gingerbread man from Shrek lol! I wonder if he knows the Muffin Man 🤔
not the gumdrop buttons
lmao
He sounds so girlie... Like he is about to cry... I can't stand it... 😂😂😂
Eric Hwang I think it's awesome guy loves driving good old cheap thrills
Him and that other fairytale trash
Let's not talk about how reliable this will be compared to the cts
Depends on what you consider reliable now adays
+BaldCreations what??
luigynkaren062011 If you load any car with features things will break. The days of cars leaving you on the side of the road are somewhat behind us if you take care of these new cars properly. The seats look so dope! BTW nothing, nothing, nothing with 4 doors and 450+ horsepower has the reliability that the GS-F has
Just bought a low mileage 2017 GS F at a fantastic deal, this Lexus rocks !
Atomic silver with this circuit red interior. This thing is a head turner and gets lots of looks.
Great review, Matt. You get this car as I do. Drive one and you will understand.
virtually all reviews of the GS F come to the consensus that it's surprisingly great to drive, and it's engine is a brilliant, symphonic throwback.
I gotta say.. That is the sexiest engine bay I have ever seen!
The BEST four door Japanese car money can buy. This car is epic and that 5.0 engine is one of the best engines on the market. True drivers car !
Well done again Lexus. Can't wait to see the LC500
The real deal will be the 5 LS,can't wait for it.If the rumours are true they kick the competition ass the same way the did it 1989.
I want a Lexus next.
I see you commenting on 90% Lexus videos I’ve watched hahaha!
- I’ve also become a huge Lexus fan after getting my 2nd gen IS350.
Dream car!!!!!
I'd say the IS500 is a better deal than this, but, of course, we only had the GSF and RCF at the time.
I'm a simple man.I see a Lexus ..I press like.
His reaction at 9:44 😂😂😂 he sounds like pillsbury doughboy
Saul Armijo lmao !!!!
Yo lmao
Lexus interiors are better than anyone's by far lol
Cant wait for the 2018 LS and the LC500
None of us can lol
even Jeremy Clarkson enjoyed the GS F, and he normally loathes Lexus.
NSX-R true, he did. This honestly might be my favorite car
I just love the GS
Love, Love, Love, your enthusiasm and how genuine you are! Thanks!
That's one nice interior and one super brilliant digital instrument cluster. Closest digital that looks like a really nice analog I've seen.
It's close to the one in the LFA.
I've been contemplating a Camaro. It's more in my budget, etc. I can live with the interior which is a little outdated but they have one of the UGLIEST dash / instrument cluster around. Whoever approved that should leave.
Sadly GM's digital cluster is kind of slow, but don't feel bad Jaguar and Volvo ones are even worse.
Still for it's price it's a great ride
2 years later and I still haven’t pulled the trigger on one. I need one ASAP!
Did you pull the trigger? Lol
@@felixramos5808 the prices they’re going for with the miles they I have.. I sure as hell didn’t.
Really nice feature when you split the screens while taking the corners to give us both a view of you in the car as well as the road itself. Awesome to see your video production quality improving with every video!

I doubt the 4.8 V10 will never be used again. It was all one-off everything.
Pure race engine quality, and completely hand-made. Yeah that V10 is expensive.
+Inner Hammer that v10 is a legend and legends doesnt come ever year it takes time
The V10 was built by Yamaha and took years to perfect. It's a super expensive motor. But it would be awesome in this, it would become the Japanese M5.
agreed
What a legend... Like to see someone enjoying their drive
This is truly my dream car. Thanks for the great review!
bro review an ISF please. I'm considering purchasing one but I need to see your reaction for approval.
So Cal Streets he just did a review check it out!
i waited so long to see this, thanks! :D
you again
uwot m8 NNNYEEESSSSSSS
I never get bored of his acceleration reactions
the sound doesn't matter becuase the mark levinson sound system is the best I've seen in a car under 100k....
I just love your passionate enthusiasm. You crack me up every time. Doing a great job. Keep it up !
Such an amazing car...and that interior its mind blowing....i think form now on is my favourite sport sedan...ty matt for this wonderful review
I agree 100%. The inside and outside look badass and that V8 is the icing on the cake.
Yes that its true.....i know that everybody want an m5 or amg but this car its something else
florin colesnicenco agreed it looks more speical and its more unique
It's exterior is an ugly piece of cow crap that is still alive
Best review I've watched in awhile. Loved your enthusiasm
Can you do a video on the Lexus rcf
I actually really like the styling
love the blue in the engine bay
if you squint you might think the front looks like the new camry.
Yeah, I couldn't remember what it reminded me of.
The new BMW 7 Series taillights look like the Camry taillights.
thats because Toyota and Lexus are linked
It's not such a bad thing.. The new camrys look good
No. This looks nth like a Camry the does the Camry has bottom intake openings on the front bumper and a big mesh grill with LED day time running lights ? Blind fool

Oh. This is at a different level.
i drool over Toyota crown everyday, like literally
WOW this new intro is so pumped, I like it.
Awesome review as usual! thinking of picking one of these up!
Do it Keep the v8 sedans alive
Cts v sounds like a better car in almost every way tbh
Do it. I test drove it and I own the 3.6L cadillac ats. I can't afford anything crazy, but I have already took my Cadi to the shop a few times. All under warranty, but my GF has a lexus and it has zero problems and not a rattle after 5 years. +Alberto 9324 😂 please who wants to break down all the times.
+Jak2bossbf3 😂 good luck not breaking down.
Reliability, is what I go for, that is something that Mercedes and BMW would be nice to have
I've been waiting for this review !! 😃
Great review - proof that NA has life. Wish they would create a new IS F, give M and AMG something to think about in the smaller sedan world.
I have a 2014 IS350 F sport and I think Lexus has everyone beat in all around packaged. My IS drives so smooth for sitting low to the ground and low profile tires. Lexus interiors are on a level by their selves.
Great review! Are all four exhaust pipes functional or are two of them still for show?
Please test drive the ISF!
Great review again Matt. I really like the GS F.
I have a feeling the cup holder is made like that for vibration Toyota just don't leave things unfinished.
Engine sounds so sweet.
Great, informative and balanced review Matt - well done sir! 🙂👍
Sound Really good. Nice review Matt
that back road you chose for the handling was great especially with the two views! @subaruwrxfan

Hey subaruwrxfan, you should really test out the Maserati Ghibli. I recently test drove one and I want to see your opinion on it.
I like lexus design.
Love your videos, man.
nice review.. wish you would have commented more on the ride quality, the suspension vs the CTSv ..
Love your enthusiasm!
You know shit's going down the moment he turns onto that backroad lol.
It's looks like a super Camry until you get inside of the car.
hahaha
So true.
thanks you just ruined the car
+driftspeed that's just what I saw immediately when I saw it haha
This looks nth like a Camry you blind idiot
This car will be a future JDM classic
6:30 I've noticed that gap in other reviews I've seen of this car but it must be done on purpose surely they can't miss that?!
When buying a Lexus, you're paying that premium for the reliability and its resale value.
Not as fast as the Germans but in return, the gs will be way more reliable than any of the Germans or even the caddy.
I think the cupholder cover's lift is a production fail, just a little detail of that unit
Matt I was hoping that you reaction on the car would be the same I felt when I drove one too !!
why lexus? do you still use those silly goose neck style hinges for the boot lid? but still, love this car! And man i reckon subaruwrxfan should have much more subs... he gives reasonable compliment and giving understandable criticism.
Personally i love the looks I've always been a Lexus person over Bmw and Audi and Mercedes
when he was soo excited it was funny i enjoyed him all happy ahahah
i had earphones and that sound is so awesome
which one is better?? CTS-V or GS f
I'm running 275 wide pilot super sports on my 13 GS350 F sport and it still has trouble putting power down in first gear. I wish it had a limited slip diff.

Beautiful sounding motor
thanks for not using any childish NCS music, also i would recommend somehow adding some treble to your mic so it sounds better, while you're outside
His face and voice the moment he floors it XD
That cup holder lid would drive me nuts.
I've owned a gs450h and I'm quite impressed with gsf, I might look to upgrade to it!!! maybe a two , three year old model
Gotta love it when he squeals likea little girl when pushing the peddle down on the fast cars
Wow they've sure stuck with that cool cruise stock behind the wheel! I've got the same thing on my 06 tundra!
Awesome! Much better then the M5 AMG permanent shop fixtures!
PLEASE DO A REVIEW OF THE LEXUS LFA IF YOU CAN!!!
there is only 500 of them n I doubt a dealer just let's ppl review one if they have it
Awesome car. Drove one and own a cadillac. I am going lexus next time. I don't enjoy going to the dealership every few months to fix something.
I loved the split screen
Idk why but those glamor shots reminded me a lot of Forza. for some reason
Great review!
Should I get this Camry or a 2015 Chevy SS?
You mean Commodore SS 🇦🇺
@@pedrowilson6211 It’s a commodore but rebadged as an SS in the states so yeah Chevy ss lol
How does this compare to the Chevrolet SS you tested? Thanks
Such a beautiful car
Great car and of my favorite cars made
Dug the split screen during the road test!
solid review as usual.......
Must be an awesome ride, I've never seen him quite this giddy!
You must haven't seen his Shelby mustang review :)
Lexus IS about performance and they are getting better and better
Somebody please tell me that the cupholder gap is just a defect in that specific car, and not an actual design feature. That’s ridiculous.
I'm a fan of the looks
i like the car a lot. Fun review.
Water 8962 its ok. Needs more oomph
Please review the Lexus RCF next!!!
with the fuel economy I think that is due to the fact that you use more of the power in the Cadillac if you use any of the power you would be going over the speed limit
i am stuck between this or a GTR.
kdash0213 same for a daily driver. But this car has the space i need. Just needs a supercharger
BornToBeFamed i have a 2011 is250 for daily and 2014 gx460 for family car. I really can't decide between these 2, cause for the price of a 2010 gtr, you can get a 16 gsf lol.
Same here but where I live I get lots of snow and I think with winter tires the gtr will help me more. But still the gsf has the usability I need
@MELLOW Good points
How does this 5.0L V8 compare to your Coyote Matt?
