      +Diggin' with Seven . Thanks so much for watching. Finds are getting few and far between in the ground where I've been hunting. Going out soon to do some scouting, so maybe I'll have some new old dirt to dig in. Mike

    With that Chucky Cheese token added with the other you found a few videos ago, now you only need 10 more to play a game. Great finds and good luck on the next. Great Video.

      +TexasTigerDigs . I got lucky finding this one. I read an article that talked about the land owner donating the land to the city to make a park. It's turned out a variety of finds new and very old also. Thanks for watching, and good luck to you Tony. Mike

      +Diggin Arkansas have you ever detected around twin bridges in Goshen? I'm thinking of heading out there today or Monday hoping to find rings and the like people have lost fishing for those white bass

    • @DigginArkansas
      @DigginArkansas  8 років тому

      +lorddraylon . No. I've never been there, but I bet you can do good.

      +Diggin Arkansas well I guess I'll head out there now then lol. I detected the old blue springs park there on beaver and found some 1960's and 50's quarters you might try in the upper area looking out over the lake. it's easy to find on Google earth if you use the time bar.

      +lorddraylon . Cool. Good luck. Today is a great day to get out. Supposed to get in the low 70's.

    Did you ever find out how old the ax-like tool is? It looked like it could be native american. You should take it somewhere official to get it checked. Cool find.

    • @DigginArkansas
      @DigginArkansas  6 років тому +1

      I never found out. I do still have it though. I never thought about it being a Native American artifact. I will have it checked out. That would be really cool. Thanks for watching and good luck to you. Mike

    I am from Sheridan, I just started a little metal detecting, I have cheaper equipment to star me out, but dang you are super fast at finding your stuff. Seems to take me forever to find what I am looking for when I start digging.

      +razorbackfan , It's just practice. Sometimes I have a hard time finding what I'm looking for. Keep diggin and you'll get faster. Thanks for watching and good luck diggin. Mike

    I live in Hot Springs, ever do in searching around there, thinking about getting a Fisher, I know of some really old house places I would like to try

    • @DigginArkansas
      @DigginArkansas  4 роки тому

      I’ve never hunter there. Wasn’t sure how they would work with Hot Springs being a state park. Should be some awesome stuff there.

    i been digging a little over a year. those large targets really throw off the depth reading. i'm in kansas but was raised south of ft smith ar. i had a 2 ft mason jar lid that sounded as a coin and pinpointed at 8 in i dug it anyway it sounded to good not to. the ceramic cap was not broken either. nice hunt.

    • @DigginArkansas
      @DigginArkansas  6 років тому +1

      Thanks. I really like finding the mason jar lids when the porcelain piece is not broken. Mi wife collects them. It’s normal for something larger that’s deep to sound like a coin. I’m like you. If it sounds good, I’m digging it up. Lol. Thanks so much for watching. Good luck with your diggin. Mike

    • @DigginArkansas

      Awesome. There’s so much history in Hot Springs. There’s no telling what you could find there. Not sure how rules apply to a State Park that is also a city. I guess permission on private property should be fine. Good luck with your diggin and thanks for watching.

    I have never dug but I have my dad's old detecter. Do you have to have permission from the state of Arkansas to dig in parks here?

    • @DigginArkansas
      @DigginArkansas  3 роки тому

      There are a few state parks in Arkansas that let you metal detect the swimming areas certain times of the year. You can find which ones online. Most cities don’t mind about city parks but you would have to check with those cities. Good luck. Hope you find lots of treasures.

    What's your thoughts on detecting right after a hard rain or when the ground is real wet?

    • @DigginArkansas
      @DigginArkansas  7 років тому +1

      +Volley Bagwell , Wet ground is my favorite ground condition. It lets you get a little deeper, targets are more conductive, and holes are easier to dig. I always like to go right after s rain.

    • @volleybagwell3132
      @volleybagwell3132 7 років тому +1

      Well looks like I am going today after the rain lets up,lol. With that cold front coming next week Ill be doing another type of hunting. Need to fill atleast one of my tags this season, lol. So relic hunting today and deer next week. Awesome!! Thanks alot buddy.

    You can dig in a park?

    • @DigginArkansas
      @DigginArkansas  2 роки тому

      Most cities allow it but it's always a good idea to check with the parks commission in the city you want to detect. Thanks for watching and good with your digs.
