Gracias. Saludos desde Santa De Argentina.

Interesting to see! Would love to visit Greenland one day, but it's expensive to get there even when it's not that far away from Europe. Did you fly there ?
Hi Jumis! Yes it is not the cheapest trip but definitely one to put on the bucket lists. I flew from Reykjavik airport - I made a vlog of the experience which you can view here: ua-cam.com/video/ewUZH4d2zwQ/v-deo.html Hope this helps!
I think one of the reasons why there are less tourist in greenland , Iceland and other parts of Scandinavia it's because of expensive prices and hotels
Greenland is definitely not a budget travel destination. The flights are expensive. However, I was quite surprised to find that everyday living (eg. the supermarket) is in many ways cheaper to Iceland. I also managed to stay in a hotel in the harbour area for c. £50 a day, which is a lot cheaper than some of the other hotels in central Nuuk who can charge up to £250 a day.
it looks like any city in the world and the supermarket has the hand sanitiser LOL you cant make this up. You d wonder how many cases or deaths they actually had in Greeland /Nuuk. Crazy , 10 years ago it was my dream to visit Nuuk but now watching the video I am not too sure . There is barely any snow. Strange or is this summer?
@@willieexplore ah ok maybe thats why.. I thought it was because of the infrastructure ..Yes in the future I would then. I wanted to fly to iceland and then from there to Greenland visit both cities Nuuk and Rekjavik but remembered the flight from Iceland to Nuuk cost about 600 euros so yeah..lol and went twice to the usa east coast for 470 euros ..maybe its way far up we dont realise ..or not maybe tourists for such a price. So it kind of threw me off back then but maybe in the future as it was a plan for me years ago :)

Thanks for checking out and supporting my channel Dennis! This was taken end of May / beginning of June this year.
Local activites they would have loved to recommend: the pubs😁
I was born and raised there I know the types.
Certainly a few interesting pubs around! Must be an experience growing up in Nuuk / Greenland
I think these pub-liovng types look the same all over the world... :-D
Parabéns pelo vídeo. Abraços do Brasil.
Thank you so much for this kind comment! Hope you get a chance to watch my other videos too :)
By chance did you see a pleasure boat anchorage area in the harbor?
Cheers for watching! I can't say I did, no :)
☝️👏❤️✊🙌
Thanks for your support :)
almost everybody, says "hi!", in Nuuk
For sure :)
I always used to say that we Italians are everywhere and if you go to the remotest parts of Alaska you'll find an Italian restaurant. And low and behold, Cafe Pascucci in Nuuk, Greenland! How's that for ubiquuty? Great video. I am fascinated by Nuuk and would love to go there one day....
Grazie Giorgio! Italian coffee has indeed taken over the world my friend! Nuuk is a wonderful place, I hope you get an opportunity to visit in due course. If you haven't already watched them, there are other Nuuk videos on my channel too!
All the best good by dear
Thank you so much!
Greenland is a good country for living.
Certainly a very different lifestyle than most places - very remote but with incredible nature!
you should one day visit South Greenland in the city Qaqortoq
Would love to one day! I've heard many good stories about the South. Thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate it!
This was taken end of May / beginning June. Definitely worth a visit in my opinion!
@@willieexplore thats cool you went there though and thanks for the video , its nice to see recent videos of Greenland. Cool that you can get your take away coffee like in any city in that remote part of the world !
Great video. Is it safe to drink tap water there? Are you visiting other parts of Greenland?
Thank you very much! Yes, it is safe, at least in Nuuk. Not sure about the other parts of Greenland. I know that it is popular amongst hikers to drink water directly from the streams in the mountains too :)
damn i can smell this city
A great place to visit!
Beautiful country, the nature is amazing, and it is weird to see snow in June, do they even wear t-shirts? lol. The people of Greenland are actually related to American Indians. If you love outdoors and hate humans, Greenland is the place to be.
It is definitely a place for nature lovers, but not necessary for beach weather lovers!
I'm telling you i'm not greenlandic native. My hometown is lord of island in indonesia.
What are you talking about?
Hallo Willie van amper somer Suid Afrika. Ons hou baie van jou videos. Mag ek n voorstel maak dat jy moontlik ook bietjie natuur afneem van dié lande.
Hallo Colin, baie dankie vir jou (julle) mooi boodskap! Ek waardeer die ondersteuning en aanmoediging. Goeie voorstel - ek sal dit verseker in ag neem! Groete
What is the name of the hotel you stayed at Willie?
I'd like to visit NUUK and stay for a few days, but make my visit as inexpensive as possible.
Thanks 👍
It is called Hotel Soma. You will see more footage of the hotel in my video where I fly from Iceland to Greenland. Please do check out my other footage on Greenland too!
@@willieexplore I've subscribed, and I'll be able to watch some more of your videos in bed tonight.
Thanks 👍
@@ElizabethWarrenYeahYeah that's fantastic Elizabeth, I really appreciate it! Hope you find the vlogs informative and inspire you to explore Nuuk! Happy to answer any further questions you might have too.
@@willieexplore Thanks Willie, I appreciate that. 🙂
How is the nightlife there or does that not interest you? I've always wanted to go too
Hi Gaz, there are a few bars that I know of but didn't go myself. Probably something I missed out on. Definitely go to Nuuk when you get the chance!
They look like siberian people like ulan ude
They are Inuit
i just watched the john cahil video
Do you mean the Josh Cahill video? Yep, I am the UA-camr he met at Nuuk Airport!
In che mese era questo visita grazie
End of May / beginning of June
2 minute noodles isn't food.
Not my recommended staple diet no. But perfectly fine when travelling on a budget.
No trees, no plants for me living there is like nightmare in isolated prison. Nice to visit but never would living there.
Certainly a very unique environment and not for everyone, but I had a great time visiting!
problem of your bag is to sqeez the zeeper by teeth of plize not too tight
Managed to fix it in the end :) Thanks for watching!
I have like it and subscribed your explanation is clear thanks for sharing.
@@captshaky really appreciate it, my friend! Delighted that you enjoy my content. All the best for 2024, make it a good one :)
my pleasure@@willieexplore you too this year god showered his blessings on you and those beloved by you..
You should go to Antarctica.
No specific desire to do so, but maybe one day!
my dream to bee in Greenland but its not going to happen😅😅😅
Thanks for watching and commenting! Hope my videos give you a glimpse of what Nuuk is like!
hi wellocome in tunisia 🤑
Thank you mon ami! Tunisia videos coming shortly :)
I don't see any trees there
There are not many in this part of the world!
LOL
@@daveshen0880 glad you enjoyed the video!
Where did you get your ridiculous glasses?
£1 charity shop mate
Bloody british poverty tea that mate hahahah bloomin nora
Wasn't the best cup ever made!
@@willieexplore noooo tea is British word for dinner hahah, as in the noodle meals proper working class stuff, where you off next mate?
@@EllisWR fair enough mate, I thought you referred to the horrible cup of tea without any milk! Those noodles can come in right handy in these expensive places.
I have a few more Greenland vlogs to put together, hope you are looking forward to them! As for next destinations, well I have to keep a surprise or two ;)
It's the place to go if you wanted to escape the nonsense most of us are trapped into living under, let's face it at the end of the day peace and quiet are the real Treasure of life not metro's, over crowded cities and pollution day in day out
Some good points there James!
the more I see Afrikaan people the more I want to visit South Africa , I d rather visit SA :)))))))))
You should definitely visit SA Ellie! You will really enjoy it. Thanks for watching my videos :)
@@willieexplore thank u 😍
Kuka hullu siellä asuu ? Öööööööööö.
Not everyone in the world lives in Finland :)
@@willieexplore I don't like living in Finland.
I would like to live in Greece. But summer here in Finland is nice. I have always lived here.
Willie, it isn't Nook. Pronounce Nuuk just like you would in Afrikaans, Nederlands or Deens. Learn to greet people in their own language.
There is no "right" pronunciation. You certainly can't tell people what to do.
Nice to visit Greenland, but I will never like to live in Greenland
I think I might struggle with the remoteness as well!
@@willieexplore I think the remoteness is not a problem, it's the fact you can't drive to other cities in Greenland or drive and visit other places, it's too isolated. Island for example is remote, but there I could think about living.
Sounds very strange saying good morning to absolute strangers. Too weirdly reverential.
Hi Colin, yes it is not something you'll find in bigger cities, certainly not here in the UK where I now live. Amazing how a 'hello' to a stranger can lift your (and their) mood.
Bizarre, it s look like Russian city
Do you think so? Russian cities have trees :)
depressing town
I disagree; a great place to visit
