For some of these I can see their reasoning, some cant play because of device problem/performance issues. but tbh thats like giving a restaurant a 1 star review saying they never got their food because their car broke down before they could reach the restaurant. The QoL updates we've got have been improving the game a lot over the years. remember needing to click every daily missions one by one? remember holding your finger on your screen for 15 seconds for a total of 3 minutes just to level up your units? remember when you cant skip Annihilations and having runs randomly fail? For the SSS, yeah I get that its very hard for some people, but is it fair to judge the rest of the game based on 1 game mode? I dont think so.
To be fair that 1 game mode may be bothering them a lot to the point where it's stressing them out and they wish to rant about it. Personally I think it's probably a heat of the moment thing or they value that aspect of the game more. Back when Elden Ring first came out I literally played with my screen freezing every other second and during big fights I easily went 3-5 seconds with a frozen screen occurring every other moment. It did not bother me due to absolutely loving the game during the honeymoon phase BUT I can see why many people dropped it when it was that un-optimized. It really depends on how much people value it or if they are just angry at the moment. Some people I know don't care about Kingdom Heart's story and recommends it but others DO care enough about the story and say the game overall is let down because of it. Personally I dislike SSS so I can see where they are coming from and every time I am reminded of it I realized I am going to miss out on highly valued resources because I think the gamemode is horrible and I don't want to play it. A similar feeling occurs when I think of IS, I don't like heavy RNG in a strategy game and we already got enough rng in the gacha system to mess up people's day and months of saving. Due to how RNG heavy SSS and IS is I don't think "its very hard for some people" as you put it, it's just unfair and unfair gameplay does not feel rewarding. Having enough RNG to force resets feels like a waste of time and hiding valuable resources behind RNG will make people wonder if they are wasting their time or doing something of value. In the older Halo games I don't feel like I had an unfair experience when I lose to someone who got a power weapon ahead of me but I will in Halo 5 because they have a gamemode where you can use stuff you got from lootboxes and I've been spawntrapped because someone took out a pistol that fires black holes into my spawn while I RAN OUT of the normal ones that can disable a vehicle for a second. In most other games with difficulty sliders, enemies can be defeated with a headshot but some games inflate their stats so much that it takes multiple clips of headshots and not getting 1 shot to beat the same enemy. Fromsoft games have no difficulty slider but you can chose to make the game easier or harder by getting better or using certain tactics. Last time I played SSS a hyperinflated miniboss decided to spawn in on the third or fourth stage of my 4 stage loop. Not only could I not defeat him with my units but he made me incapable of efficiently farming the materials before the deadline causing my earlier runs or the build up the stage he spawned in to feel inefficient and not worth the time/effort. I beat the same stage many times before without him spawning in so I feel cheated when he does.
@@dalgona4819 I hate rogue-lites. >:( Nah I like most of them I just don't want to see it in a tower defense and lock highly valued resources behind it. Grinding out the extra stats is also annoying.
I have a 32 gb phone and it's system took half of the storage. I had the same problem as that guy who had to download AK resources more than 8gb. I thought I'm the only one who experienced it as i've looked it up and no one seems to mention it anywhere.
Bro same, it became a serious problem every update that I had to delete many files, apps and photos. I really need to buy a new phone, clearing hard stages while lagging really sucks.
same I'm using 32gb phone too, maybe you should try to reinstall the game without downloading any voice packs, it's really helpful, my arknights is only 5,7gb now (still big, but at least I can save 2-3gb).

@@mykuronekocantbethiscute i'm assuming he's just doesn't want to spend the time. It's like completing the game then spend hours of time find the optimal path to speedrun the game
The repeatable stage farm is a genuine criticism. Especially with orundum grind. You genuinely had to babysit your phone for hours a day. Why lessen the pain and made it autorun. It don't have to auto clear, just made the process less painful.
Well the auto clear i can do my real life work easier and less finger movement just click start and then proceed and let it run. Then i can start do chores just i hope there are multi auto clear.
From the perspective of game developer, it is because AK cannot afford to have players to skip the stage completely. It is for the same reason that FGO did not implement SKIP Noble Phantasm despite how the players wish for it. I won't explain (Because it will take wall of text), but the simplest to understand is that implementing such a feature will actually hurt the game's health, despite it satisfying some of the players in the short run.
@@DisIngRaM please explain that cutting 10 second by enable multi auto run could ruin the game. Because currently you literally can't focus doing other things while grinding for rocks since you had to break focus and pushed start button every single clear. Just made it that you can decide how many auto run you would like to run and the game will auto play until you complete the set run. It was literally the same thing minus you had to press start over and over again.
@@GranMaj Limitations are often necessary to enhance the playing experience of the game. Automating the farming process of an *extremely* valuable material _can_ ruin the experience of the players. It also tests your patience on the game, which is as important as your skill and experience in it. If you find the game extremely repetitive and you can't handle it, *then quit the game.* It may not be for you. There are reasons why we don't always get good things, even in real life.
@@SougaDesu Dude, I am not saying to go full auto. The game still limit your daily farm by your sanity count. I don't mind the grind for this game since the gameplay is solid and i have played the game for more than a year to know that i like to spend my time on this game. I don't mind farming other materials for upgrades since the amount you need is usually not that many and you are usually want to manually farm the mat since you are most likely need a set amount of mats for a spesific things, to efficiently use you sanity . But the spesific of orundum farm that you need to farm thousands of rocks for weeks is the problem. Since you already committed to spend your sanity on thousands of one spesific item for weeks, and you still need to convert the item TWICE, which takes time. With bulk auto run, you only reduce the tedious part of the game by a small amount, since you only remove 10 seconds per run. While keeping other part untouched.
I am totally disagree with adding voice over for the story. Because Arknights has a lot of characters, and it would be a total mess if yostar hypergryph decided to do that. Its going to kill our space 😭
Yeah When I first played this game I was like "ow barely no voice lines except the Op menu"... After few hours of reading the story of chp 0-1 "ok now I see why lol"
Yeah even without voice over for the story board, arknight already has over 7 gb, so if they ever add more voice lines, it would need a lot of storages.
EN cant read moments all the way, the game even tells the basic stuff like generating dp, most of these players either didnt read the tutorial or didnt care. And i think GP even states how many GB of date is an app.
I agree that watching the battles makes it feel more real, but I'd like the autos to play faster. Watching the playback at like, arbitrary speed (like, I wanna see some of my busier autos at 32X, it'd be funny) would be nice. Especially during events, when I spend 10+ days autoing the same one to three levels, it's kinda dull lol.
Kinda agree, think 3x speed would be good. Tough I would not rate 1star because of no 3X speed lol. Also I would recommend using emulator with script function so you could record your play and it can help repeat for multiple times.
1:51 I agree with this to an extent. If we are able to auto then why not let us auto repeat. Why is it so hard? I'm not even asking for a stage skipping ticket or some bullsh*t like that. Just Imagine the convenient of being able to choose how many time you want to repeat a certain stage and do some other thing in the mean time without worrying about restarting the stage manually.
The phone storage review happens to me too, whenever i have to redownload the game i have to suffer with that "max capacity" storage stuff. Only way it downloads correcty is if i only download EN voices. Also i have to redownload every patch. Is my only problem with the game, still love it tho.
its the main reason im stuck with it on pc only unfortunately i bought the one J series phone that cant swap internal and external memory so 16? (ngl feels like its prob 8) GB fills up fast and any update i had to do swapped the game to internal before updating then to be exported to external eventual game just got too big to fit in internal and i dont have any of my main games on my phone
From other people in this comment section, there might be an issue with older OBB data (Arknights version) that isn't deleted, essentially having 2 version at once.
To defend the 1 star from the start. It is not the duty of the player to make sure the game works, and if it doesn't work assuming the developer provided minimum requirements are fulfilled, that is one of the single most valid reasons to give the game a 1 star.
I agree with the point on not being able to see the enemies details before the stage though. Without seeing enemies details, there's no way you can make any relevant plans and have to go by hunch. And with the stages getting harder and harder over time, not being able to make a relevant plan before the stage start almost guaranteed to fail the first time on harder stages, which can definitely be discouraging sometimes.
Kinda agree with the second one, at least for the resource maps. The story maps can stay the same. Guy in review 3 doesn't know the practice function right beside the start button 😂
My previous phone (until 2019) was 16 gb. I have used it to play Arknights when I had to multitask and, I couldn't play either Arknights and Priconne on it without deleting the downloaded data of the other. And I had everything uninstalled including updates that can be rolled back to save space. Storage is a big yikes for some phones. Current one is 128 gb and sometimes it feels like it's just barely enough :D
@@charginginprogresss Could be that you still have the old version of Arknights lingering in your device. It didn't get deleted, and instead it's just downloading the newer version whole keeping the previous one.

I half agree with your opinion on skipping battles, however I do feel there should be a way to skip stages if you're planning on doing them ten times or more. At the very least it would be nice to have the stage replay by itself.
I agree with review 2 on the fact that they should add a feature where you put how many times you want to replay a stage, it'll be nice when farming stages like 1-7 to squeeze out those extra pulls without whaling
Even just a simple "Repeat" button on the victory screen would already be a pretty nice QoL instead of having to press 2 different "Start Battle" buttons every time
I've been using the auto feature almost daily and most of the time I have it running while I do something else. Having it replay automatically would let us use up our sanity efficiently without keeping the device needlessly on by prolonging the time between stages when our attention isn't glued the the stage complete screen.
5 month later, but there was a problem with codes ones. I was re-entering my account and the code was sent to my email only on the next day. It happened only once to me, but still
The "Please give us a better option than autodeploy" is genuine good criticism, what are you even on about. 3:01 New player here, playing 3 month, almost finished main campaign, about building characters, got 8 6* on e2lvl90 + mod lvl3, and I'm not talking about 4* and 3* what else to say
It's hard in start early ofc.. But if you don't have trigger to play Arknights.. It's hard to keep playing You must have reason strong enough to keep going
The start is only hard because you don't know anything, and the early levels try to teach you (use vanguards for DP, use duelist to block elite enemy, use AOE against crowds). The middle levels are easy because you learned your units and formed a strategy around your core 6 star. Then it gets hard again, this time with true difficulty. But people who refuse to learn how to play from the early levels and just think "I rerolled for Silverash and Eya from a guide that was relevant 2 years ago, why can't I pass this level" will never reach that stage, because a lot of gachas have snoozefest early stage that are destroyed by whale characters. And Arknights is not like that.
The auto battle person has a point though ngl. As intensive as the resource farming in this game is, there's no reason the auto battle should be as slow and archaic as it is. Even if asking for a skip button isn't feasible for whatever reason, at the very least they could add a 3x speed and let us do multiple runs automatically without having to start it up each time. Adding those options won't make it an idle game cause you still have to actually 3 star the stage once to access auto battle, with these changes all it would mean is that we can spend less time on menial resource grinding and more time engaging with the other, more fun game modes and meaningfully progressing. At the very least it doesn't hurt anyone to give more options to control how much time you spend grinding. Those who wanna spend there time looking at their operators do the same resource stages they've already done 830623528374652038 times can just choose not to use the improved auto features, while those who have jobs, families, other hobbies, etc. can have a better experience as well.
4:22 That's relatable. I have a phone with 16 gigs of internal storage (~10 minus the OS), I'm just glad that I managed to get a laptop to play from the emulator.
I could see a daily quest reward for a 'Normal Mission Skip Ticket', like the annihilation skip tickets but for any stage, one or maybe two a day, but not all of them
Some of the reviews seem reasonable. Lack of Resume after a crash. The game has also been VERY crashy lately relative to the past, particularly for emulators, so some of the complaints about crashes make sense. SSS complaint when it opened made sense but they needed to update it. Having either a 4x speed or a way to auto-repeat 1-7 would also be very nice - grinding 1-7 for the 5000th time isn't gameplay, it's busywork, I'd rather have a way to auto clear 1-7 15 times to burn my Sanity and then spend that time playing IS, which is actually fun.
@@ultra8140 I don't watch, I actually play the game, adding and removing OPs when needed. Arknights is much more then plopping down OPs and watching them.

I will have to stop you on that bit about the "Play on auto without having to press deploy again" I swear to god I want that, that way I can do that while I work, while I eat, while I'm doing dishes, while I do general cleaning on my house or while I'm playing another game.. oh and on those days where I'm nearly drop dead tired I can leave it on auto repeat and sleep that way I wont hate myself for forgetting to consume the stamina/sanity and end up having excess wasted stamina/sanity... in short it allows busy people to multitask while they're doing something else. allows me to be more flexible with my schedule while not compromising on my busy schedule esp since I'm graveyard shift most of the time which means by the time I get home all I can do is barely even eat cuz I wanna sleep... Imagine your job being a graveyard shift baker alone in the middle of the night... i want that shit.. the hassle of having to wash your hands full of flour just to press "deploy"... I want the game to be flexible for people like me... Lowkey shows inflexibility tbh.. still playing tho.. just wishing they could make everyone else's lives more easier..
2 - A repeat button on the victory screen instead of having to go through 2 extra screens might be a small QoL improvement, but that doesn't really warrant a 1-star review. 3 - Getting to preview enemies on your first try on a stage might be nice, but that doesn't warrant a 1-star review. And sometimes going in blind is part of the fun. 6 - SSS was nerfed, but bro didn't change his review, he lied. 7 - I wanna clown on these people for device diff, but the game has crashed like 3 or 4 times even on my S22 Ultra. I love how the game required you to clear stage 100% without leak 1 to unlocked auto battle and yet the auto battle have 1% leak
People are retarded.
@@sircinabun5478 I get the RNG in SSS being tedious but IS imo the RNG is an important part of it being a roguelite(?)

@Tear thx for the advice.
32gb phone gang. My phone is also full and now I moved to playing on an emulator in my laptop. Tho instead of playing twice a day, now I only played once a day.
@@Suwardhiningrat the first time i installed AK it was around 12gb+ which made me reinstall 5 times till it got to 8gb. I think the internet is also a factor as it will redownload existing resources if the download process is "stopped" because of slow internet.

God, as a new player this is one thing that bothers me. If they're not adding a Sweep system might as well make the grind less tedious.

I half agree with your opinion on skipping battles, however I do feel there should be a way to skip stages if you're planning on doing them ten times or more. At the very least it would be nice to have the stage replay by itself.
Yo Iwant the Elite 3 too, where can i get that cheat engine?
Good point but you can't

It's hard in start early ofc.. But if you don't have trigger to play Arknights..
It's hard to keep playing
You must have reason strong enough to keep going
That how I’ve been like 1 year ago struggling to move thro now I have the best characters that I like
The reason i stay because the operator art, music and voice actor of my favourite
I can't believe that guy got his Operators E3 lvl 105 at chapter 4! I got my first e3 operator at chapter 2!

2 - A repeat button on the victory screen instead of having to go through 2 extra screens might be a small QoL improvement, but that doesn't really warrant a 1-star review.
