I lived in the relatively new Beach Cove Apartments at that time, 1976-1978, which as you know is off Catamaran! There used to be a shopping center on the corner of Foster City Blvd & Catamaran, I believe, where there was a Safeway Grocery Store & a Lucky Drugs along with a Chevron Gas Station. So long ago as I was much younger then and I remember visiting Half Moon Bay on occasion! I had a friend who lived in Atherton and he was a pilot where he and I would fly out of San Carlos down to Santa Cruz! The San Mateo Bridge is quite a bridge as I recalled! Thanks for the thoughts. While it's close to SFO's flight path, it's actually not nearly as loud as the cities around SFO. You have it significantly worse in places like South San Francisco, San Bruno, even hearing it Hillsborough more than Foster City.
