True, the encyclopedia/relations made you feel as just a small part of a much bigger world. Now it feels as if the zone lives around you, instead of you living in the zone.
Binoculars are missing due to limited field of view. You'll just see characters spawn out of nowhere. I think they'll add a lot back after optimization
Even after the 1.1 patch, the max range something is spawned within is 100m. The UE5 limitations are horrible in this regard. Hope they find a way to improve this part of the game. If not, hope the modders will do it.
@@Silshad1xray was uniqe in that regard. Dont expect to get this fixed like ever. The fact we have alife in state like this is amaizing. UE5 is garbage compared to Xray in terms of simulation capabilities
They didn't have binoculars because you'd see how empty everything is. The mutants are just set to aggression so they attack everything. In the original you'd kill one or two dogs and the others would flee.
Not just mutants act realistic you can see Npc's are not chasing you aimlessly all around the map and when you hide they lose the track of you and not keep throwing grenades even tho u ran 1000 kilometers from the area
@DustyShayan nothing worse than the stalker 2 bloodhound bandits that chase you for kilometres and have endless grenades and can hit you with 75%of their shots from 300m away whilst at a full run 😆
I just had a mission where I had to kill a group of fleshes and the last one just kept running and running away because I got all its friends. As annoying as it is I want that
I miss the statistics from PDA, the good old Stalker ranking and the factions relations. I think that could be easily added back to the game with a new update by the devs.
You mentioned something that i wanted to cover in the future videos and something that was kinda similar to our topic is the fact that there are like 100000 dead bodies on the ground when you start exploring old areas like x16 lab
Not being able to get mutants parts from mutants is the biggest L. My 2nd biggest complaint is the extremely limited variety in loot. Same thing over and over again in every stash, makes exploring next to pointless. Also there is no A life in stalker 2, just regular UE 5 enemy ai.
Biggest L for me is the lack of info on pda and you mentioned a fantastic thing we need more variety in loot system. and ai life is just a solgan in stalker 2 . I DO HATE UE5
A-life is online as of patch 1.1, since around christmas. E: just out of curiosity, what kinda of variety in loot? Also I'm not exploring only for the loot, you find quests and magnificient places modeled after their real world counterparts in the game..
bullets/shot no longer ricochet either, armors looks so similar I constantly gun down friendlies, the headlamps suck and snipers are almost useless because the npc's spawn in so close.
I remember in Shadow Of Chernobyl there was hidden in gamefiles option that allowed NPC's drag corpses away from the campfire/village after each skirmish.
@@DustyShayan It was locked away, but enabled in earliest total conversion mods like Oblivion Lost (not the OL Remake). Emmisions were also disabled in vanilla, apart from fewer ones triggered by storyline.
@@DustyShayan this is npcs as in specifically stalkers. Fauna dragging stuff is in the game while I assume stalkers doing it to tidy up their area is disabled for optimisation reasons in the more densely packed stalker camps
Best guess about binoculars is to not aggravate the "A-Life 2.0" not working properly. The short info on NPC (usually corpse you're looting), the reputation window and stalker ranking and other stats is sorely missed (cuz game IS tracking them and they do affect prices at shops, technicians, guides and enemy spawns). AI really is set to its most basic functionality at the moment as primary issue is figuring out A-Life simulation without setting your machine on fire. Mutant not giving any loot - no idea... Basic functionality is there - you can loot quest collars from mutants (that's what modders used), but I don't understand the reason for cutting it out (at least for now). Again, best guess - slow down player progress, like with initially higher prices and durability loss. My personal issue is lack of night vision - it was one of the most satisfying aspects of gear progression, from headlamp, to crappy noisy NV, to super advanced near perfect visibility stuff like in SEVA suits. In stalker 2 tech advanced so much that most exoskeletons allow sprinting and some even able generate force fields (primarily few enemies you encounter), but for lighting you have a dumb-ass torch that lights stuff barely 5m in front of you. Worse is that in final part of the game there's NPC CONSTANTLY WEAERING NV GOGGLES IN A LIT ROOM! AAAAAAAA!
Im at the office now and you made it hard to answer this but i will try my best to answer your beautiful explanation. First of all the binoculars are not in the game not only cause UE5 engine render is directional and if they give us the zoom then problem with all this dlss and fsr settings will hurt our eyes but as you mentioned too on second part adding such system for zooming in will hurt the fps so hard and will need a even stronger rig than what it need now. And AI-LIFE is just a shadow in stalker 2 but i have high hopes they will fix it. About the mutants i can say yes there is a hunter shack in rostok i guess in main building that shows different mutants heads on wall so it will be there for sure! about the nightvision and few more features i create a video and will appreciate you if you gift your time to me and watch that too🙏
Judging by the fact that there is a empty vendor stall in rostok with mutant stuff hanging on the wall they surely wanted to add mutant looting but somehow didn´t
Because in stalker 2 the zone is not alive like in the original trilogy. NPCs are static, boring and disappear after you take a few steps away from them All because they decided to release cheap slop that wasn't even optimized.
Stalker Gamma is all stalker 2 should have been just with a little bit of graphic and game improvements with fresh story no need to change whole the game
They were sitting on a gold mine, and all they had to do was to look down and see it. Needless to say, they didn't. They could have just "remastered" and merged the old titles while also adding a few new maps and maybe reintroduce cut content like Sin and UNISG. They already own the IP, so they could have just looked at what mods default Gamma comes with and make all those mods built-in features (by making them themselves, not stealing the mods, mind you). Sure, updating or remaking the X-ray engine would have been very difficult and time-consuming, but if they did that, they could have ported a lot of stuff and cut down development time while also making something that uses more than one core of your CPU, lol. Instead, we got Chernobyl: Metro on UE5. I mean, my expectations were low, but bloody hell... Meh, whatever. It's not my problem. I'll be back in about a decade when Stalker 2 is 75% off so I can use 700 mods to turn it into Gamma 2. I'll have better hardware and run the bloody thing at 144 FPS by then, too, as a bonus.
1:39 bold of you to assume it is few lines of code. Do we even know if all mutants have implemented flee pattern/behaviour in the first place? Whole thing might not even be in the game.
@@DustyShayan well blame UE and 'we want fancy graphics" implmenting flee pattern behavour is lol ya not 20 lines but its litteryl entry level ai pathfiding programing you find in any book or school project. its very simple. few 100 lines. and not complex. of course you need to test alot, and edge cases and deepnds on how horrable the rest of the entity system is (its bad clealry) integrating it into the jank that is UE? perhaps more. and the cost? well that the issue. UE is grabage engine, for complex behavours based on how they resource handle. (not cache frendly, old bugged terrble c++ from 20 years afo (irony of them droping x--ray due to the false unerdsanding that UE5 is "new" its not you can look at the enigne code online, tis bad oldstyle slop c++. built on layers and layers of jank. which is why you get endless crashes, memory leaks, danlged pointers, and horrable preformance.
@BOTmaster15 he's talking about older games having it and they do have it. Are you asking if the new game has it? Which it clearly doesn't 🤔 you are kinda arguing and agreeing at the same time. don't get your knickers in a twist becuase someone has issues with a game you love.
For me STALKER 2's seamless open world and its level design messed up the greatness that trilogy had. mostly wiped out uniqueness from each region and you just run through grass and skinny trees for the entire gameplay. It took the zone's vibe for me entirely
A-life doesn't really work in Stalker 2, they gave us a bandaid fix for now... but it's really only a shadow of what it used to be in the first games. That's one of the reasons why binoculars aren't in the game. There's no reason for them if you don't get to see the NPCs roaming around, cause they just despawn/respawn when they go offline/online.
AI-life does not realy work as you said and its just a shadow but do u know why we dont have binoculars? cause UE5 can not handle it and cause we dont have loading between zones anymore so random spawn and despawns happens and hurt the game even more you are completely right about what you said and i hope they fix the bugs and game sooner :(
@@DustyShayan A-Life has always had 2 modes to work with. Online and Offline. They take care of different aspects of the AI in the zone. Online takes care of the stuff within a certain range around the player. I don't know the exact distance but for simplicity we can assume it's within visual range. It simulates actions of each and every individual NPC like you'd expect AI in video games to work. It's the part responsible for NPCs healing their friends when needed, combat, Stalkers looting dead bodies, etc. Offline takes care of the rest of the system by simulating squads of Stalkers and mutants around the zone. It doesn't work well with combat (which can be seen in Clear Sky where it completely fucks up the faction wars in some cases - for example when you capture the railyard from the Bandits a squad of Loners is supposed to spawn in Cordon and travel to Garbage to take it over. That squad is covered by the Offline part of A-Life. Except when they encounter a group of mutants they get locked in combat that never gets resolved and the squad gets stuck until you physically go to Cordon and help them fight the mutants at which point the railyard will be taken over by Bandits again. What GSC seems to have fixed (at least partialy) in Stalker 2 is the offline part of A-Life 2. It now has stalkers and mutants roaming the zone, taking over areas or even just chilling in them without players intervention. What it DOESN'T fix is most of the online part. AI is still dumb as a bag of rocks, still fires ridiculously accurately, can see you through foliage and doesn't retreat when they're getting their asses handed to them (like when a bunch of Stalkers get attacked by a group of Bloodsuckers, Snorks or even a lone Controller or Pseudogiant). Another issue is that Online mode still has a very limited range of maybe 100m. Comparing 1.0 to the current version. In 1.0 if you spotted a squad of Stalkers, moved 100m away and then moved back in they could disappear. Now they'll reappear as you left them. Same happens with dead bodies - the range at which they disappear completely is increased. Before they could vanish after moving 100m away now they'll stay for much longer before being despawned with whatever loot they had on them. So it's not random anymore, it's actually working the way it's supposed to. At least in this one specific part, which is definitely an upgrade from before even if the actual AI is still as dumb as a bag of rocks. It is also a good first step so...
Actually a life works now, it's just missing features like npc's dont have hunger and also cant loot corpses, same goes for creatures as well. But there are videos that show npc traveling and if you move far enough away that they despawn, they will be in the proper place if you get close enough. At launch and the first patch or two though,it sure didn't lol
i was really disappointed that i didnt find any nightvision upgrade in any armor or sniper rifle, also no supressed sniper rifle was a big bummer for me
Wanna try some Zone Sportsmanship Challenges in unmodded SoC? 2:38 Hunting snorks has always been fun in SoC, especially with a pistol. The idea is to challenge yourself by going for headshots. A .45 works best in the unmodded game. 9mm will sometimes take two headshots to down a snork. In Oblivion Lost 2010, snorks always had tanky bodies, but they were weak to headshots. Some went down with one headshot while others could take two or more. Caliber didn't seem to make much of a difference. This is assuming you were using a rifle or pistol and were intentionally hunting snorks for sport just to challenge yourself. Shotguns with buckshot will pretty much always take them down with only a few shots. Note: Slugs and darts weren't worth using except in some mods. Oblivion Lost 2010 made them worthwhile, but only if you used them in a Saiga 12K (because it was from Arsenal Overhaul). Otherwise, slugs and darts were too weak. 3:55 That, plus they need to add back the ability to aim grenade launchers instead of forcing the player to "point" from the hip or just giving us a lame zoom like Clear Sky and CoP. Sure, expert grenadiers IRL (or senior riflemen in Eastern armies since they'd be the ones with rifle/launcher combos) develop intuition that allows them to predict the arc of their grenades, but that sort of intuition is the kind that only comes from experience and training. It's still preferable to have a set of sights to use when you need them. Any and all types of launcher sights (leaf, ladder, quadrant, etc.). Also, they need to bring back the ability to "dodge" pseudogiant pseudostomps with perfectly-timed jumps. 4:07 I've seen FLESHPIGS do that! I wanna play as a FLESHPIG! I want to experience the Zone as a squealy-go-nuts, bulgy-eyed, insectoid-galloping FLESHPIG! 4:44 So GLaD the LR-300's sights were fixed with mods. It was so refreshing to play Oblivion Lost 2.2 back in 2008 and aim the LR-300 for the first time with iron sights that line up right.
Been busy reading and laughing at the same time thanks for this detailed idea for a script of a video that i may fcous to create NO JOKE . love you buddy
Even though the first game has the worst graphics, I feel like the world looks better but I don't know how to explain it. Too many trees now make the Zone too lively? I don't know.
i feel you bro i noticed the same when i was shooting i knew it's old and many will call it crappy but bro it felt so good i just love to engage and shoot and the atmosphere felt dangerously scary i feel you game feels diff now !
They won't be able to optimize it that much, poor engine choice will allway hold them back. What they can do is disable lumen and rework all lighting in the game, that's a crap ton of work but performance will increase up to 30%
Yeah but when we have a feature that is good enough and people see it as one of the strong point of the game there is no need to instead of improving it just deleting it and yes I'm sure there will the statistics tab
A-Life in Stalker 2 is just neutered, they've stated it was broken and will release patches to add its features and to be fair it's much better than it was at launch, but NPCs having routines and doing shit like requesting help from through the PDA after their squad is wounded was really really cool cause it made you feel like a cog in a machine rather than the whole machine. I'd wanna see that return the most along with a better implementation of the reputation system and random tasks
nightvision something i missed to cover in this video but faction wars for example the one between duty and freedom around yaniv station for territory control good lord i miss that too
the latest updates supposedly reintroduced AI trying to take compounds for their faction both online and on smart terrain similar to flag systems fromthe older games. While I doubt it'll ever be full on like CS it definitely sounds like it's meant to be a bit more indepth than ShoC and way more than CoP's lack of a lot of flagged areas. I haven't played upto the part of the story where duty and freedom breakt heir peace treaty and the monolithians are all over the place since the update so I can't really confirm past word of mouth :p
I initially was also bummed about the faction indicators, but in theory, it might have been a good hardcore feature, like realistically, you can't identify allegiance of anybody. But it is ruined by hostility markers on the compass and the fact AI doesn't react realistically (you have to look closer to identify their allegiance but they shoot on sight)
we want to play video games and not some real life simulation that not give us scores and reason to play specially for old gamers like us we want the game to answer us with simple indicators that feels more video gamish you know? and while they shoot on sight so there is no chance to even feel the faction attitude in stalker 2
I think the problem is not having indicators but that the models between factions are too similar (from what I've heard haven't played the game) because most mods don't have indicators, but since the factions have identifiable colors (duty red, mercs blue, monolith Grey) even with some overlap make sit easy to tell which faction a stalker belongs to
@@In_The_Base from personal experience - uniform color coding is much more subtle than in previous games. Mainly it's hard to distinguish some Loner and Guard costumes for some lower tier ones.
Why is it that everytime someone makes a footage of SoC they have to play in minimum graphics engine, no wonder people think the game is too old they go to youtube and see this. Static lighting engine uses a fallback low quality texture preset and disables all bump mapping and light from the sun.
Love this video. Personally I'm kind of glad I don't have to loot mutants b/c there is enough looting already and it helps me focus on enjoying survival and exploring. But I get it, I was also a bit surprised that they weren't lootable.
Thanks for the energy! If they add variety to loot. it will decrease the boring looting system. at least we may have fun to loot cause it's getting annoying sometimes!
I've never seen so many people stick up for a bad game in my life. " they're working in a warzone " no they moved out of Ukraine and was paid millions from xbox to put it on game pass not including all the pre release sales. Not to mention the lies leading up to release. But they fixed so much in a few weeks. Not why was so many bugs present. "They had to dumb it down for xbox" excuse after excuse not even coming from the devs. And you go against what people are saying you get attacked I literally have loads of replies in groups insulting me and was banned from a group for posting issues with alife. The community went from nice og stalkers to cancel culture kids in a few months.
i agree with you many people reaction is just so annoying when you only say the game need improvement and OG stalkers are the only one taking the blame this days. wish to see what we deserved after all this years!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the same. Why does the new game not have all the stuff from the first games? I swear the people at the top make decisions from polls then cut everything else because "We found that not a lot of players wanted that feature." Like dude... I remember when sequel or prequal games came out and had the same mechanics, were fine-tuned and made the games awesome and flow correctly. Adding new features made the games fun and you knew the new game would be better because they followed that pattern. A lot of game developers/ CEOs don't make sense to me. How do they not see the profit in doing that.
Clear sly was Peak immersion for me, some how you could befriend bandits and talking and do quests for them. And even join a faction, but all the different weapons and accessories for them and the weapon and armor upgrades for them was the cherry on top "night vision". The encyclopedia and variety of mutants was so inmersive that in that game is when i became obsessed for its lore and quests. The artifact variety and different regions for explore. All with hiden npc, loot, dialogs. I haven't played yet misery mod but for what i heard it destroys the expectations comparing it with stalker 2
Bro binoculars would be 10 lines of code, Adding small mutants running from big mutants would be 20 lines of code. I can't believe they aren't just adding the list of stalkers to the PDA, It would just be 30 lines of code.
xD i guess you have a sarcasm when you saying that or your not?xD but i will answer both approach for something that small as i mentioned in 2024 that games almost sending rockets to galaxy's i guess adding this small features are just so easy and next approach yes i know the fact that this stuffs i mentioned are more than 20 to 30 lines of code and i had a little bit of sarcasm but thanks for this comment!
@DustyShayan you have it a bit wrong. Instead of wanting stalker 2 to be better. Simply admire and acknowledge how unique and fantastic stalkers before were. The amount of love they put into the previous games really goes a bit underappreciated(even with the praise they get). Because it's never just 30 lines, it's 100s of lines, 10s of edge cases and interactions with other systems and mechanic, Days of testing and polishing and bug fixing. How many game back then had monsters haul their dead pray to their lair? How many do this now? It is actually a big deal to add stuff that seems trivial to games. It shows that when they added stuff like that it was because it was something that they themselves wanted in the game. Because games are a sum of their parts and these things really add up. ALife was a literal Magnum opus, all the small parts that add up to it, they will go unnoticed when they are there, but if they are not, it does not result in a game as grand. The reason stalker games grew such a cult following is not visible to the naked eye. But everyone who played it, knows it is unique and there is nothing like it.
Yes, Stalker 2 is missing too many of the key features people loved about it to the point it looks like a Fallout-style clone with scripted events, npc gangs and hidden easter eggs here and there. Which cool have drawn my interest if we had to do with a fresh brand new, unknown game, but for a Stalker game it doesn't meet my expectations. I see no point in cinematic cutscenes or playing the game for the plot when I can't methodically scout an enemy location from afar, tiptoe around slumbering mutants I've spotted resting from afar and trying to catch a glimpse of the silhouete of a potential enemy perched up on a high place while I hesitently approach an abandoned building I've just discovered. And you know what other small detail I've missed from the first game? Finding stalker bodies on fire barrels. I've read somewhere that the reason for them was that Stalkers mistakenly spawned on top of a fire barrel when loading a map due to a bug and took too much fire damage, but before I learned that, in my head I was like: Damn, the zone is so brutal that even the bodies of unfortunate stalkers are used as fire fuel to warm people around a fire and people are forced to accept this new reality, or at other times I thought: look at this barrel, so loner down on his lack was so desperate that he went rogue and turned on his companion steal his supplies to survive, and now he is trying to get rid of the evidence by burning it and we just so happened to wind up there at the worst possible moment and catch them red handed... so now the mugger knows we know, and we know that he knows we know, and both of us are standing there uncomfortably looking at each other as we stay near the fire to take shelter from the rain.
well said my brother what you telling me is something that made the game a living one for you and many of us the fact you telling me you were checking camps and spot before engaging feeling the vibe and scaring the atmosphere while respecting the game and you know what ?? not only that i see as a perfect story but a great feelings that you have been through and my brother from another mother !! how is that posible you felt the same about the dead loners the and the way you explained it is mind blowing the part you said you catch them red handed but unfortunately you were sharing a shelter !!!! well said ! thanks for your wonderful comment !
@@DustyShayan Thank you for the wonderful reply :) I am glad I found someone else that appreciates the atmosphere of the games and that you liked the explanation I have come up to explain the bodies. I wish you all the best for next year and keep doing what you love. Cheers :)
attitudes are sort of in 2 with map locations displaying their disposition. mutant's having a death wish is INSANE. Flesh jumping is silly, but it's made a thousand times noticeable due to them refusing to not chase you. Hoping this is an a-life feature that still needs optimising. I think mutants parts will also be linked to some npcs we have the little hunting shop in rostok that's empty and the original 2011 documents had mention of cutting off ears to get rewards from Duty. Worth remembering that mutant loot is a ShoC exclusive feature
yeah in rostok in stalker 2 we still have the hunter shack its inside the main building and you can see different mutants and animals head on the walls so yeah i guess they will add the feature soon
They promised good improvement and i do have believe in em too and the war and covid they have been through they still did great on the game and the fact you mentioned that we had loadings to explore the map is something i didn't like about the game but it was 2007 and no company could do what they did now you know what i mean?
My most missed feature F3 F4. The amount of times i've gone for a medkit and died due to that is unreal, trying to reprogram years worth of gameplay! Second missed feature was zooming scopes, I know a lot of people like the more in picture scopes but my blind ass can't see properly!
You're a criminal for using f3 f4 keybinds for medkits and not miscellaneous items. Back in my day F1 was for basic medkits, F2 were for bandages (or vinca) , F3 was for energy drinks, and F4 for antirad
umm we still have that and they did a good job imrpoving it. in trilogy default butttons are Q&E and in stalker 2 its X&C but i think i changed mine so i may be wrong here
Something feels off with new game. The atmosphere isn't there. Too much noise as well... Don't need combat music and over the top sound effects all the time. Ambience and environmental sounds is the way to go.
i love the sounds and musics but the only thing i hate about is they took the intensity of high stake situations out of the game ! there was times that my heart was pumping so hard ! hope we see improvements
I miss hunting any mutant with a knife. The AI can not operate with the player going full close combat. Right click and most of them die. The encyclopedia can be brought back easily. Works the same way as the tutorial tab and reacts on specific events easy to observe. But at the moment there is no possibility to edit the UI except for changing textures. Also there are so many things in the game that scream for finishing what has been not completely implemented. In Rostok is a shack with hunting trophies. I could almost bet my ass that is the spot for a hunter buying the parts. Also while in the area... outside there are shops find stuff from the ruins, jackets, mugs, shoes, shields are sort of 'trash'. Would be amazing to be able to pick up this 'trash' and have another way to make money. There are so many environmental moments in the game with scenes and dead bodies sometimes even with a PDA on them. Part of quests which never made it? Obviously a lot of work has been put into create those scenes so why weren't they used?
i know what you talking about i saw the hunting shack too and i thought the same and outside the door just right of the shack when you go out you see stuffs as you mentioned with good detailed and made me to ask the same question and you are right there are many scenes with many dead bodies and no good answer or so
@@Ch1n4m4nn I always cut Eastern European studios some slack, the conditions are not as nice as many western countries and it seems to take a toll on the product. I'd imagine development would be further along if the country where STALKER is developed was not currently at war.
@TheEddiefiend it is absolutely unbelievable what they did under the circumstances they had. Yes, it is buggy, yeah they might be panicking with patches but it is awesome. 300h in the zone and no run was like any other. I had to wait a decade for a new game to be released and got me hooked like 20 years ago.❤️
2 different game engines, original one optimized for Stalker characteristics and the unreal engine optimized for the lowest common denominator game studio.
i think they stole the whole alife system from egosofts x series runs the same way came out in 1999 space sim. simulates a universe (the zone) with persistent ai with different factions all with jobs to do ( sound familiar?) each solar system seperated by jumpgates (loading screens) persistent space stations (points of interest). these are the only games i know that do it this way at least back then, more similar space sims have been released since then. Stalker being the only FPS series to do something like this.
The biggest thing missing for me is the enemy visualizer, they for some reason gave us the green one but it doesnt even work because it marks unaware enemies as green too... i would like to play without it but this game's visibility is terrible cuz of all the foliage and darkness, so this is the game that NEEDS an enemy visualizer and its the one that doesnt have it LOL
Also, you missed the biggest one that's staring you in the face and I think the backbone to alife. The radar system I would assume offline alife behavior is tracked on the radar mapping system seems the only logical way of doing it. Yet there's no radar in stalker2.
Would have preferred they had improved graphics slightly, and what made games special 10 times. Still waiting to buy, but think this will turn into a gem!
That's why I taken a break from stalker 2 at the moment. The game is unfinished and rushed due to fans pressuring to release the game. Currently playing AC Odyssey, GR Breakpoint or GAMMA to kill some time until the fully fixed the game or at least the modders fix the game (if GSC decided the release the modding tool).
Killing mutants should be useless. Or you will become rich. The zone is a harsh place and not everything should bring profit. The devs claim they are working on a-life improvements. I agree with the rest of the stuff you said and also i didn't like the amount of bullets you have to put in a mutant to kill it. This makes the weapons feel unrealistic. It is unsatisfying when you put 60 bullets in a mutated pig and it still jumps as if nothing bad happened. They should make the mutants more clumsy and bleeding when they take in the bullets or reduce their HP.
At the moment, A-Life isn't working, which is the foundation of the features you mentioned. No NPC-Releations, NPCs spawning at a certain distance etc. When they got it done, those features will be implemented, for sure. For the Mutants, I assume that the Devs want us to avoid and run away instead of fighting
At the moment AI LIFE actually doesn't exist it's just a shadow of what we had and they will fix it im sure i do believe in em and for the mutants a feature like i mentioned wouldn't hurt the game having the right to make decisions of not killing or killing is something that make difference in open world games right?
I promise even with best gears posible this days you can barely get 40 to 70 fps depends on your settings so i guess that's something we all wanting to. and thanks bro i will do my best
The AI LIFE or whatever was a good theory back then. The mods improved the idea. But ultimately it is quite problematic. Afaik there is still no system that can run it well enough. (Basically an enhanced AI simulation running for the entire game world, even possibly simulating offline etc...) In Stalker 1 it was at least just a myth, something they wanted to do but had to neuter and cut because it did not do much but crashing the program. Idk, maybe I am just making up things and don't understand. But that would have been something that would have caught my interest for a second game, as someone that has spent 1000s of hours in the zone before. At least they are true and delivered a glitchy mess, as is tradition 😇
yes it was just a theory but they still could land it just by not using UE5 and it became a tradition this days for games to just fix and tweak their games after release this days so lets see what they do
i think they stole the whole alife system from egosofts x series runs the same way came out in 1999 space sim. simulates a universe (the zone) with persistent ai with different factions all with jobs to do ( sound familiar?) each solar system seperated by jumpgates (loading screens) persistent space stations (points of interest). these are the only games i know that do it this way at least back then, more similar space sims have been released since then. Stlaker being the only FPS series to do something like this.
This game is full of cut contents man. Its either unfinished(comes with future DLCs hopefully) or will be added with new updates. They already moved to the right direction with the latest A life patch.
it would be cool if we could atleast change factions, i know it's not a mechanic from the OG games but i really loved it in Call Of Chernobyl and you know it would be nice if they would add it
@DustyShayan oh i mean that like they shouldve added new features to the game since yk its like a new one and in the trilogies every game added something new like Clear Sky added faction warfare, Call of Pripyat added fewer but bigger maps and improved artifact hunting.
thing is "it was x years ago we had that!" ya. wait till you find out what falcon 4.0 did in 1999. point is most logic has existed for 30 years. the issue is what the resource budget is spent on. if you want fancy graphcis you dont get good AI. end of story. we want better game play and AI, we need to tell devlopers to shove it with thier exessivly fancy graphics and 4k bs. you only have so many cpu cycles. and if its used for complex animations, they you lose out on behavour.
@@DustyShayanit is why most games these days suck. Graphics and visuals are promoted over gameplay, ai and mechanics. I rather take a huge hit in the graphical department and have gsme mechanics be better. I think everything outside of the character faces looks like dog crap anyway. Everything looks like it has a film over it and I am playing with epic settings in 1440. I can’t be the only one that thinks that.
The thing that would be sick is the nemesis system from the shadow of mordor games, unfortunately its held under a patent by... Monolith (u can't make this shit up)
@DustyShayan Well they fight and the survivor become stronger, in the SoW games they gain perk, idk how you would tweak that in Stalker 2 but ive always found the system really cool
A Life and lack of binoculars is because Unreal 5. This engine its gonna kill games if not adjusted properly. Actually nothing can be done to U5. Its only for surealism and fantasy visuals and nothing atomspheric about it. There are in depth analysis about U5 ans its issues on youtube. And...u forgot something - NIGHTVISION - because U5 again. Damn OUTSTANDING. Imagine a stalker game without nightvision...I cant but we still got it. Cheers
the list was to big couldn't line all of them up in one video or it could be like 30 minutes long i will make more part of this and i will add the lack of nightvision to next video thank you for your comment
@@DustyShayan man I didnt mention the most important issue with STALKER 2. I think its kinda useless to go into because there is nothing to be done about it. issue is game play was exclusively designed with consoles in mind. in terms of movement, interaction - including menu accessibility - , fast or tactical FPS mechanics - was designed for consoles, NOT PC. u can clearly see all these from clunky movement (you cannot jump if you hold run), button wheel for accessibility, drag and drop, weapons holding etc etc. devs disregarded pc game play completely because MONEY. there r some videos online about it but nobody wants to go to far because its a slippery slope. if STALKER GAMMA is a 10 on a scale from 1 to 10, then STALKER 2 is 0 (ZERO). sorry for the rant...its just frustration. its like you said, if wanna write down all issues, I can fill up to 100 pages. cheers
A-life is missing, all this spawns in 5 meters behind my back are annoying. Malachite defense mission is absolute garbage with squads of 15 exo Varta's with pkm's spawning in thin air. This is even worse than polish 2000s shooters. And night vision, the game is dark asf, but npc's see you clearly. Man, I hate this game, All these years and development and they only outmatched graphics of mods on original games.
bro the spawn is not responsible and not making sense plus it feels like we going back to call of Pripyat where enemies had eyes with thermal vision and throwing grenades on you everywhere. i coverd the nighvision in part 2 and i agree with you while we cant see em they can see us and its annoying i dont wanna increase my brightness and hurt the atmosphere of the game. hopes are high and while they did good once they can twice lets see.
@DustyShayan changing brigness doesn't help either, something completely off with light in this game, flashlight is too weak and shadows too dark. And I think you're mistaken call of Pripyat with clear sky, or I played modded CoP too much. And "they" is kinda rough take, half of "them" works on Metro series, another worked on Survarium. And last of them got fired after stalker 2 was cancelled in 10s. Idk something completely wrong with game, it's empty, it's like there's nothing but good looking locations and teasing with nostalgia and seems like some poor early mod on Shadow of Chernobyl with huge budget on graphics and cutscenes. I'm sorry, just completely dissapointed that they came up with this, while there is anomaly together is happening and Ray of Hope on the way.
@@ammpower9235 wish you luck on buying the new pc i did it myself like 2 month ago and i regret many of my decisions on why this or why not that? you only know after you buy it!
Binoculars, NVG's, great AI and simulation are missing because UE5 is abysmall dogshit of an engine, and little to no one knows how to use it without failing miserably
@@DustyShayan Unreal is a complete solution, including graphics, physics and audio engines, instruments for working with in game AI, scrips, data and so on. So problems with UE5 games are complex to. But mainly its a graphical load, shadering, and espetially lumen lighting which looks bad and decimates performance
Bro I hate UE5. I think it is a step backwards. A step in the wrong direction. It pains me that so many games are going to be developed on this crap. The only benefit is the character models, they look great. Everything else looks like crap. The environments look like crap, the textures look like crap in my opinion. The clothes look like crap. The zone itself doesn’t look that great. The water physic effects are crap. I mean…it can’t be I’m the only one. Where is everything so like filmy or blurry looking. I’m playing at epic settings and it still looks like garbage even at native 1440 p. The animation anolsong that is Xess or fsr, helps, because without it there are these white lines on all the angles. Like terrible, I don’t play with frame generation I refuse to. Also the lighting is all out of which I get these weird blocked moments where the light is making polka dots looking artifacts. Lord have mercy. I can say I have enjoyed the story of it so far, but I haven’t enjoyed the engine. Not at all.
UE5 is only made for realistic graphic and that's all and not optimized for anything lower than at least 2k res cause as you mentioned if you play on 1080p then your at a war with all those antialising setting and keep chaning from TAA to FSR to DLSS and still your game is either blurry or so sharp i get it bro and i hope they fix it im still in love with our old XRAY engine !
@@daDominatorz it’s bad for every pc in general. I have a high end system and it still plays like crap. I barely get over 60-70 fps in the city on 1440p with epic settings. Once I get out in the open it is between high 80s to like 120. I thought 💭 it waa just another gsme I played with UE5 Bodycam that had the lens blurry going on. However what I am realizing is that it is the engine now that I have played this. I hate it and the team at Epic are ruining games with the trash engine.
I hate stalker franchise it doesn’t matter what you or anybody say. back in days when I first time played this game I was like what’s wrong with this game and all this I said changed with STALKER GAMMA now I love this game and in my opinion stalker 2 is a good game but I’m still playing GAMMA
I mean, I understand the frustration (the missing a-life is the big one, everything else is kinda secondary), but it's baffling how you failed to mention even a single time that the game was developed in a fucking warzone. Give them a break.
You are right brother maybe i should have mention it in the video but i will make sure to add few lines of script in my next video and mention it there
@@DustyShayan Nice, thanks. I know there are dissapointing parts of this sequel, but the original ones (especially SoC) were really buggy on release aswell. After a 2-3 years of patching/modding I think Stalker 2 will be great. Got a new subscriber!
@@Neeverseen I know. Doesn't help much when your home country is getting bombed. Would you be able to focus on your work under these circumstances?Because I wouldn't.
I guess they will add ranking system after they will introduce multiplayer in the future ... because honestly .. now I dont see any point why to climb on some useless ladder for killing NPCs ... since they are practically all one shot dead by headshot ... but you are right .. some kind of overall statistics could be nice
the pda i showed is in single player mode but if they add some feeling to the game by introducing a ranking system then they can tweak it even further and add challenging stalkers or bandits with every update that's what gives the game a life
Because of Binoculars and NV and IR Goggle Devices missing in STALKER 2 HoC, I use the Rifle Scopes of the VSS Vintorez and Gauss Rifle as substitutes for the Binoculars, while I ain’t using Sniper Rifles often. And do turn the Flashlight off in the dark to be seen harder in firefights, and taking cover at each obstacle for bullets and explosives to hit me.
ye agree with you i even create the second part and you can watch now i covered the night vision in the video and talked about the same problem i have with darkness of the game .
but if they add that it will not hurt and will give us more reason to play and what if they keep tweaking it too? so keep it more engaging wih newer adds ups?
@marino4691 you aint a true stalker or someone that played anomaly. That gives more/deeper immersion to the game, like mutant parts. Allows you to immerse ypurself as a hunter, the faction duty was heavily into that to protect fellow stalkers
I don't care that you can't pick up mutant parts. there's too much loot lying around anyway. it's just something else to encumber you. The point of shooting mutants is to stay alive!
But 8 out of 10 times you encounter a mutant you have the option to just runaway and why shouldn't you? If there is no way to tell how many mutants you killed on your pda or the option to loot for more coupons . What is the point to kill them??
Im using the mutant loot mod veteran diff and its a gamechanger for me. One of the bigest sources of income for sure. Without it i would be runnin around in a broken bandit armor and and rusty AK with a half of mag
I disagree on mutant loot. I'm not actively against it, but I think it's fine for them to just be a threat. The zone is dangerous, you can try and run if you want to.
@@DustyShayan As I said, I'm not against it, but they'll need to account for the rest of the economy too. I feel like mods that add mutant loot right now just make the economy easier. If the devs implement it later, they should restrict places you can sell mutant parts, or adjust other drops rates.
1:39 bold of you to assume it is few lines of code. Do we even know if all mutants have implemented flee pattern/behaviour in the first place? Whole thing might not even be in the game.

i really miss the old PDA features, the encyclopedia and faction relations were so useful
i love the pda too it gaves me reason to play and feel alive
True, the encyclopedia/relations made you feel as just a small part of a much bigger world. Now it feels as if the zone lives around you, instead of you living in the zone.
They cut them, you can even see it in the gameplay trailer, hopefully it returns in an official capacity later
Binoculars are missing due to limited field of view. You'll just see characters spawn out of nowhere. I think they'll add a lot back after optimization
yeah agree
hope they do it i made this so maybe more people ask for OG stuffs
Even after the 1.1 patch, the max range something is spawned within is 100m. The UE5 limitations are horrible in this regard. Hope they find a way to improve this part of the game. If not, hope the modders will do it.

As annoying as it is I want that
lol no they wouldn't just flee
I miss the statistics from PDA, the good old Stalker ranking and the factions relations. I think that could be easily added back to the game with a new update by the devs.
by far the most favorite part of all things i mentioned is the pda for me :(
what im missing the most?
the " x amount of human npc's nearby"
i did rely on that in stalker cop so much
You mentioned something that i wanted to cover in the future videos
and something that was kinda similar to our topic is the fact that
there are like 100000 dead bodies on the ground when you start exploring old areas like x16 lab
@@DustyShayanit's called "A-life" and yes it is on now. Wasnt when it launched but it came with the 1.1 patch.
bullets/shot no longer ricochet either, armors looks so similar I constantly gun down friendlies, the headlamps suck and snipers are almost useless because the npc's spawn in so close.
I remember in Shadow Of Chernobyl there was hidden in gamefiles option that allowed NPC's drag corpses away from the campfire/village after each skirmish.
i mean the version that i played was vanilla version and 1st day update of the game
AAAAAAAA!
Im at the office now
and you made it hard to answer this but i will try my best to answer your beautiful explanation.
First of all the binoculars are not in the game not only cause UE5 engine render is directional and if they give us the zoom
then problem with all this dlss and fsr settings will hurt our eyes but as you mentioned too on second part adding such system for zooming in will hurt the fps so hard and will need a even stronger rig than what it need now.
Yeah there is hunter shack inside the main building i guess it's for that too.
Because in stalker 2 the zone is not alive like in the original trilogy.
NPCs are static, boring and disappear after you take a few steps away from them
All because they decided to release cheap slop that wasn't even optimized.
they focused on visuals and forget why we loved the game back in days:(
I still play Stalker Gamma and I'll only play Stalker 2 when Gamma 2 is out lol
Whole thing might not even be in the game.
im kidding that im saying 20 lines of code but the fact that it's what we had in 2007 and now we don't is something that makes me mad
It took the zone's vibe for me entirely
stalker 2 or trilogy? which one do u mean?
@@DustyShayan Sorry i meant stalker 2. edited the comment
AI-life does not realy work as you said and its just a shadow but do u know why we dont have binoculars? cause UE5 can not handle it and cause we dont have loading between zones anymore so random spawn and despawns happens and hurt the game even more
you are completely right about what you said and i hope they fix the bugs and game sooner :(
@@DustyShayan A-Life has always had 2 modes to work with.
At launch and the first patch or two though,it sure didn't lol
i was really disappointed that i didnt find any nightvision upgrade in any armor or sniper rifle, also no supressed sniper rifle was a big bummer for me
no nightvision and beside the point they keep saying weapons has weight and feeling i felt better using
weapons in shadow of chornobyl no lie !
The VSS is in the game and you can suppress the M700, you just need to find the suppressor first
Yoooo wtf no night vision?! I loved hunting with silenced weapons and night vision on faction wars changing the tides of full fronts.

They need too optimize the game first than can start adding the old features back.
they will add em for sure yes
They won't be able to optimize it that much, poor engine choice will allway hold them back. What they can do is disable lumen and rework all lighting in the game, that's a crap ton of work but performance will increase up to 30%
I miss having 4 hot bar buttons and AI that don't spawn in right on your heels.
agree on that and the fact that ai respawns randomly is not the AI LIFE they promised

I want faction war from Clear Sky, but bigger. And night vision.
nightvision something i missed to cover in this video but faction wars for example the one between duty and freedom around yaniv station for territory control good lord i miss that too
the latest updates supposedly reintroduced AI trying to take compounds for their faction both online and on smart terrain similar to flag systems fromthe older games.
I actually used the maximum graphic setting is there a hidden setting that i can change or something?
@@DustyShayanthere is an "advanced" options button when you click settings. It allows you to adjust everything
The Game even on max settings looks old. SoC is from 2007 what do you expect?
@@DustyShayan for some reason it deleted my message :( there is a lighting engine tab above the general graphics preset
Most of this was in the plan, but they cut it from the game release. Just have to wait and hope they add all of this back and more.
i have high hope for them and we will see improvements for sure
Just wait 3 years for complete version guys. Playing AAA games on release is like being a tester without a payment (actually you pay for that).
Absolutly agree with all of this as a Stalker lover!
I love this franchise so i had no choice 😅 please watch part 2🙏
I've never seen so many people stick up for a bad game in my life. " they're working in a warzone "
no they moved out of Ukraine and was paid millions from xbox to put it on game pass not including all the pre release sales.
I miss injured mutants. Limping dogs, slowed down bloodsuckers. At least you knew, that your bullets are effective against them...
1:22 real as hell it feels so dumb
I know right? Rodent even attacks psedugiant 🤣 in stalker 2
SOC UPDATE > STALKER 2
sadly yes !
Bro binoculars would be 10 lines of code,
Adding small mutants running from big mutants would be 20 lines of code.
I can't believe they aren't just adding the list of stalkers to the PDA,
It would just be 30 lines of code.
xD i guess you have a sarcasm when you saying that or your not?xD
but i will answer both approach for something that small as i mentioned in 2024 that games almost sending rockets to galaxy's i guess adding this small features are just so easy and next approach yes i know the fact that this stuffs i mentioned are more than 20 to 30 lines of code and i had a little bit of sarcasm
but thanks for this comment!
@DustyShayan you have it a bit wrong.
Instead of wanting stalker 2 to be better.
Simply admire and acknowledge how unique and fantastic stalkers before were.
The amount of love they put into the previous games really goes a bit underappreciated(even with the praise they get).
Because it's never just 30 lines, it's 100s of lines,
10s of edge cases and interactions with other systems and mechanic,
Days of testing and polishing and bug fixing.
I have not played stalker 2 but i have enjoyed the first 3 games a lot and i hope stalker 2 is good too
it's a good game too but we as OG's can't stand seeing the game not take the improvements it deserved
Cheers :)
Mutant salvaging is linked to the empty stall in Rostock if I recall
yeah inside the main buidling there is a hunting shack you can find and i guess the same !
Stalker 2 is a big rollback and a shame
not a full disaster but comparing both game's from 2007 to 2024 my expectations where much higher than this !
I mostly blame unreal engine and the war of course
They should not have used ue5 imo
attitudes are sort of in 2 with map locations displaying their disposition.
mutant's having a death wish is INSANE.
@@DustyShayan fingers crossed atleast :p I'm pretty content with the mod we got a week after launch, but more post release content is always welcomed!
They promised life improvement and this is the kinda tweaks they should work on . I feel you brother
@@DustyShayan Indeed time will tell!
You're a criminal for using f3 f4 keybinds for medkits and not miscellaneous items. Back in my day F1 was for basic medkits, F2 were for bandages (or vinca) , F3 was for energy drinks, and F4 for antirad
@@southernbrain691 I was more meaning the Press vs Hold ^^; Its not clear sky levels of bandage needing but its enough to bleed out!

I miss the old music. New one is very good, but I miss the old one.
why is nobodoy mentioning the removal of the full potential of leaning that is missing from stalker 2 that was in the previous 3 games......
umm we still have that and they did a good job imrpoving it.
in trilogy default butttons are Q&E and in stalker 2 its X&C but i think i changed mine so i may be wrong here
I haven't played S2 since launch because the game just feels so empty. I hope that in the coming years that S2 becomes a top tier stalker game.
it worth playing it atleast for the first play through but i have the same hope .
@@DustyShayan I will continue this playthrough eventually just don't know when.
Also messages log. We had it in all of 3 previous games.
you mean the message indicator or am i missing something here?
Obviously a lot of work has been put into create those scenes so why weren't they used?
i know what you talking about i saw the hunting shack too and i thought the same and outside the door just right of the shack when you go out you see stuffs as you mentioned with good detailed and made me to ask the same question
and you are right there are many scenes with many dead bodies and no good answer or so
@DustyShayan dude... the amount of trash in the unpacked files is outrageous. Unbelievable much.
Xray engine was perfect and hope they understand the situation and atleast try to give back what we had
i think they stole the whole alife system from egosofts x series runs the same way came out in 1999 space sim. simulates a universe (the zone) with persistent ai with different factions all with jobs to do ( sound familiar?) each solar system seperated by jumpgates (loading screens) persistent space stations (points of interest). these are the only games i know that do it this way at least back then, more similar space sims have been released since then. Stalker being the only FPS series to do something like this.
i will read more about what you said that is interesting topic to even cover in a video
thanks for the comment and letting us know
The biggest thing missing for me is the enemy visualizer, they for some reason gave us the green one but it doesnt even work because it marks unaware enemies as green too... i would like to play without it but this game's visibility is terrible cuz of all the foliage and darkness, so this is the game that NEEDS an enemy visualizer and its the one that doesnt have it LOL
I covered it in the new part .
Also, you missed the biggest one that's staring you in the face and I think the backbone to alife. The radar system I would assume offline alife behavior is tracked on the radar mapping system seems the only logical way of doing it. Yet there's no radar in stalker2.
yes you are right and i made part 2 and i covered it in that i miss the mini map too :(
Would have preferred they had improved graphics slightly, and what made games special 10 times.
Still waiting to buy, but think this will turn into a gem!
i mean if they add all the lovely features and still use the stalker 2 graphic it will be the best in franchise
Lol squirrel dogs gathering food for winter
When i got there i asked him who's the good boy ha whos my little good boy?😅
i mean, you couldnt search mutants in call of pripyat
Yes cause the game focus just changed back then but it will not hurt if we step forward and not backward by not adding what we had in 2007 you know?
That's why I taken a break from stalker 2 at the moment. The game is unfinished and rushed due to fans pressuring to release the game. Currently playing AC Odyssey, GR Breakpoint or GAMMA to kill some time until the fully fixed the game or at least the modders fix the game (if GSC decided the release the modding tool).
maybe just play your first play through and then wait for upcoming updates cause it is still good enough and worth trying
At the moment, A-Life isn't working,
which is the foundation of the features you mentioned. No NPC-Releations, NPCs spawning at a certain distance etc.
When they got it done, those features will be implemented, for sure.
For the Mutants, I assume that the Devs want us to avoid and run away instead of fighting
At the moment AI LIFE actually doesn't exist it's just a shadow of what we had and they will fix it im sure i do believe in em and for the mutants a feature like i mentioned wouldn't hurt the game having the right to make decisions of not killing or killing is something that make difference in open world games right?
i will be happy when the game runs normal on a 2080 Super at 60 fps at 1080p.(without FG)
Great vid,keep up!
(Basically an enhanced AI simulation running for the entire game world, even possibly simulating offline etc...)
In Stalker 1 it was at least just a myth, something they wanted to do but had to neuter and cut because it did not do much but crashing the program.
This game is full of cut contents man. Its either unfinished(comes with future DLCs hopefully) or will be added with new updates. They already moved to the right direction with the latest A life patch.
hopes are high and do believe in em too this video is not a roast it's
begging for improve
it would be cool if we could atleast change factions, i know it's not a mechanic from the OG games but i really loved it in Call Of Chernobyl and you know it would be nice if they would add it
Am i missing something here ? Wdym by that?
@DustyShayan oh i mean that like they shouldve added new features to the game since yk its like a new one and in the trilogies every game added something new like Clear Sky added faction warfare, Call of Pripyat added fewer but bigger maps and improved artifact hunting.
thing is "it was x years ago we had that!" ya. wait till you find out what falcon 4.0 did in 1999. point is most logic has existed for 30 years. the issue is what the resource budget is spent on. if you want fancy graphcis you dont get good AI. end of story. we want better game play and AI, we need to tell devlopers to shove it with thier exessivly fancy graphics and 4k bs. you only have so many cpu cycles. and if its used for complex animations, they you lose out on behavour.
gameplay over AI please this is something that only OG's and gamers understand i feel the pain bro
@@DustyShayanit is why most games these days suck. Graphics and visuals are promoted over gameplay, ai and mechanics. I rather take a huge hit in the graphical department and have gsme mechanics be better. I think everything outside of the character faces looks like dog crap anyway.

Not at all.
UE5 is the most overrated engine out there, the performance is awful for low and medium end pc's out there.
UE5 is only made for realistic graphic and that's all and not optimized for anything lower than at least 2k res cause as you mentioned if you play on 1080p then your at a war with all those antialising setting and keep chaning from TAA to FSR to DLSS and still your game is either blurry or so sharp
i get it bro and i hope they fix it im still in love with our old XRAY engine !
@@daDominatorz it’s bad for every pc in general. I have a high end system and it still plays like crap. I barely get over 60-70 fps in the city on 1440p with epic settings. And do turn the Flashlight off in the dark to be seen harder in firefights, and taking cover at each obstacle for bullets and explosives to hit me.
ye agree with you i even create the second part and you can watch now i covered the night vision in the video and talked about the same problem i have with darkness of the game .
Good points, but I actually don't want a global statistic.... that statistic is pointless and the game is not about that
but if they add that it will not hurt and will give us more reason to play and what if they keep tweaking it too? so keep it more engaging wih newer adds ups?
@@DustyShayan No in my opinion it's not the point of the game at all. It's like adding the kill count to your sims game in a toplist
@marino4691 you aint a true stalker or someone that played anomaly. That gives more/deeper immersion to the game, like mutant parts. Allows you to immerse ypurself as a hunter, the faction duty was heavily into that to protect fellow stalkers
mods r gonna make the cherry on top ;)
Yeah mods are doing well even at this point
I don't care that you can't pick up mutant parts. there's too much loot lying around anyway. it's just something else to encumber you. The point of shooting mutants is to stay alive!
But 8 out of 10 times you encounter a mutant you have the option to just runaway and why shouldn't you? If there is no way to tell how many mutants you killed on your pda or the option to loot for more coupons . What is the point to kill them??
If you don't need to kill them, and don't want to shoot them for fun you can run away. The point of the game was never to kill everything in the zone.
@@davesmith1588 no it's not but having the feature wouldn't hurt the game right?
@@DustyShayan It wouldn't hurt to have looting mutants, I just don't see it as a big deal.
The zone is dangerous, you can try and run if you want to.
but what if they give us a reason to kill em and not just runaway 8 out of 10 times?
@@DustyShayan As I said, I'm not against it, but they'll need to account for the rest of the economy too. I feel like mods that add mutant loot right now just make the economy easier.
If the devs implement it later, they should restrict places you can sell mutant parts, or adjust other drops rates.
So the binoculars made the stalker series so great? damn.
Troll
Not actually but for many people it's an important features.
Fake A-life.
I hope they fix it soon i miss those good old days :(
I sense we are brothers of good taste 🤜🤛
i sense the same now thank you brother
stalker 2 really was slop
for us old gamers that have a story with stalker trilogy i can't deny it
1:39 bold of you to assume it is few lines of code.
Do we even know if all mutants have implemented flee pattern/behaviour in the first place?
Whole thing might not even be in the game.
Agree it's more than 20 lines of code !

I know bro i was kidding !
