  • Best Dual Sport Bike clutch weights are one of the easiest and most inexpensive improvements you can make to your KTM / Husqvarna dirt bike. Our clutch weights reduce or eliminate stalling and flameouts while providing ultimate uphill performance. This is a test and review of the 13 ounce clutch weight on a 2022 GAS GAS 350 and 2022 KTM 500 EXCF. It's so good you can go up hills with no hand on the throttle!

I bought your 15.8 oz weight for my '19 xcf450 a couple years; and it absolutely made a positive difference! I also went down a tooth (12 tooth) on my front sprocket, and turned the idle up just a tad, and it is like a tractor now. I can lug it through gnarly stuff better than my cousin's RMX250 2 stroke!

My friend and I want to do this: Take consumer products and engineer, manufacture and market kits to improve on them. Do you have a few words of wisdom in terms of how to begin?
I am a 10 year NYS Mold/die maker and CNC guy, my friend a welder/fab/mechanic.

How are they on 2 strokes. Are they different than flywheel weights

Same on 2 strokes. Yes, one goes on the clutch and the other on a flywheel. Flywheel weights are to small on these bikes to have any effect. Plus they are glue on so if they come off its a bad deal. These at least have some weight and diameter behind them. So this you can feel

With the factory equipment on KTMs these days, BDSB team has determined the clutch cases and design overall were easier to deal with than the flywheel side.
Honestly, the clutch is a very mechanical device anyhow. I would rather add weight to my clutch than my keyed flywheel, even just for reliability's sake alone.
I want a fastener directly holding my flywheel in place, not using a big steel washer(the weight) which in my opinion reduces internal rigidity and holding-concentricity ie excess vibration.
You only need a BDSB aftermarket clutch cover for certain size clutch weights. I put a 9oz in my 18 350 EXC-F and could keep factory case.
      The product is all amaze-balls.
