Same here. Heard it on the radio this morning and for the first time since the funeral of a beautiful and dear friend 2 weeks ago this song had me in floods of tears.
Tell me about it. I was thinking it was lay down your weary head this morning, then I looked it up and actually felt the spirit of the piece. Woooooooooooooo
This is the way I wish so bad that I could play. But I've never met anyone so good that I could learn from. And I'm definitely not smart enough to teach myself. Thank you so much for this.
Hello friend from the north.! Your interpretation and your way of playing the guitar is very good. Your songs are nostalgic and full of feeling and I like them a lot. I am from Argentina, in the south of the continent, and I send you a big hug and my congratulations. You are like a very good wine, which time has greatly improved. Thanks very much buddy !
Sir, you did an excellent job on Dylan's 'Lay Down Your Weary Tune'. I've only ever heard Bob Dylan's fantastic version on his discography 'Biograph'. By the way, I'm an avid guitar player and you have a terrific travis finger picking style...very smooth and percussive... 🙂
Too good. I didn't know the original song (and still don't know; I'll have to find it), so I'm reacting to the composition and interpretation as one, and it's just to good.
Best & most original cover of the song I've heard. Very pretty, indeed. Bob would approve 👌
That’s just plain lovely. A beautifully played and sung no hype, no bs version of a great song. Many thanks. :)
Just wonderful
I’m on a “Lay Down Your Weary Tune” journey online and just came across your lovely rendition. Thanks for sharing.
Same. Fascinating.

Great song! Greetings from France
This is a beautiful tune artfully played. Any help on identifying the chords and picking would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome back to the west coast, Davy. Sounding good.

Greetings from england, really good davey i love the way you play.
Nice!
Class. Got that gentle swing and sway that falls out of the tune if it’s played sim pathetically. Too many version are to straight up and down.
