lorcan jay Really? I think it's obvious to everyone that Christine probably has somebody read her comments to her. A little unnecessary to try to call someone down who had such a nice comment.
Christine, you are an incredibly amazing person. John is a very lucky man to have you as part of his life. I met Gordon Ramsay, briefly, a few years ago. I asked him about you and his reply was "brilliant girl."
The few seconds that I "experienced" Christine's vision, on screen made me really appreciate my ability to be able to see. You take things for granted, but never really realise how fortunate you are. Christine is inspiration to me, she's awesome!
The earlier seasons of Masterchef US were the best. Your season was the one that I had a favorite. I was rooting for you since the beginning. You reminded me of a friend of mine. I first met her at a local gym where she is a group exercise/spinning/yoga instructor. We share a love for the show CSI. After knowing her for a while, she confided that she has glaucoma in both her eyes. And she is losing her eyesight slowly. I was shock, you'll never know if she had not reveal that. She had participated in various trialathon including Ironman. She's an avid cyclist with her husband and little boy. She's an inspiration. And btw... She loves you too.
Christine Ha : I can't believe you replied! 😁 I'm fangirling now. HAHAHA... Hope I'll be able to taste your food. For now I just have to settle making your recipes from your cookbook. 😜 Take care... ❤
Christine Ha you are an inspiration! My name is Eric I am from Washington DC and I love watching your videos and you on the show! Also I am blind. I love to cook! I hope you can come to Washington DC sometime.
Christine Ha (US) and Eric Chong (Canada) on one picture just made me scream in the middle of the night. My 2 favorite Masterchefs! I binge-watched all of MC Canada seasons and started with the US version after. Totally love it!
Dear Christine, thank you very much for mentionning Josh into your video and to dedicate this video to him. Thank you very much also, for being such an amazing source of inspiration, and such a great human being. I wish you all the best for you and your family
Josh took his life? He had so much going for him. My heart just sank. im crying for him and his family and everyone who ever got to come in contact with that beautiful man.
In Ho Chi Minh there's a restaurant called "Noir", have you heard of it? Guests have to eat in the dark and the staff (waiters/ waitresses) are blind; they guide you to your seats and help you eat. Maybe it could be something that'd fit you if you opened a restaurant. It could be a really interesting experience for Jon, too. Take him there next time you come to Hcm :)
She reminds me of Toph Beifong from Avatar the last airbender. She may be vision impaired, but she’s a badass. Toph, the earthbending badass who invented metal bending and Christine, the absolute badass who defied the odds and cooks like a dream

I was Team Christine from the beginning. I knew you could do it and in the first episode you said it! You were the next Master Chef! You are beyond amazing and such an inspiration. God bless you.
I actually started watching Masterchef on season 3 and was rooting for either you (Christine) or Josh to win it. You both were so charismatic and such fun-to-watch people that I couldn't help but to root for the both of you. When you guys were announced the finalists, I was extremely hyped. It's so sad to hear about Josh's passing. And an even sadder note to think that he might be alive if he won masterchef that season =\. Life goes on however, hope Christine will dedicate a dish for Josh. That would be such a great homage to him and I would love to visit her future restaurant to try it and any of her dishes whenever it happens!
If it might ease your mind a little. The reason he did it was because he had Schizophrenia, so it was most likely not a decision he would have made in sound mind. Though I do not think winning master chief would have changed that unfortunately.
I’m here in 2021 after watching the entire season just in tears! Such an inspiration and I couldn’t be happier for you….I cried like a baby and ugly tears too during the apple pie episode! Rip Josh! Heartbroken!

"I'm not here to just be an inspiration, I'm not here just to be a gimmick. I want to win the whole thing" Paraphrased but that was my favourite quote from you Christine, all the best in your endeavours.
You're season was by far the most amazing season of masterchef! U guys bonded with each other and its just incredible! You're truly an inspirational person Christine!
*@ChristineHa:* I just saw your video for the first time, it was a Goal Cast video and it brought me to tears! I’ve been working tirelessly for months upon an educational blog that I’m building from the ground up, and I feel so burned out lately as all of my free time has been dedicated to this educational project with my goal being to educate people around the world at no direct cost to anyone. When I watched your video, it renewed me in some strange way because it made me think once again that anything is possible despite having not felt that way during this entire project that I am taking on alone Two things you said really stuck with me, the first was that “if you don’t try, you have a 0% chance of success” and the second, which I found even more inspirational, was that *“if you cannot see how steep the mountain is, you have nothing to fear”.* Your words about the mountain moved me and may be one of the best pieces of advice I have ever received in my life. I want to say thank you to you for gifting that to me. It feels like you blew oxygen into my flame that was beginning to flicker out. Thank you once again Christine 😊🙌🤩
Christine, you were always a class act on Masterchef, and you carry yourself with even more grace and elegance five + years later. Best wishes for continued success.

Since I started my family, I've tried to learn how to cook because back then I wasn't allowed to cook because I was an only child and I only went to school and studied. now you are my inspiration to learn more. Christine, if you read this and speak to his mum and family, please pass on my condolences, he was amazing on the show, his strength and warmth and kindness shone through and he was very likeable.
I wish for his family the very best of health and happiness.
Sometimes life sux.
Oh and your friends reaction to your win made me smile too! Best reactions ever.
Oh yeah coz she can read
lorcan jay
Really? I think it's obvious to everyone that Christine probably has somebody read her comments to her. A little unnecessary to try to call someone down who had such a nice comment.
4mySweetheart369 knowing how good of a sense of humor Christine has, she probably laughed if she read that comment.

Too true! Christine is awesome.
Its sad to hear about Josh
foxy javison it really is tho.....
Josh was a cool dude and I hear this news now... I feel bad.

Jordan Groff she's cute

We need a 10 year version!
+mizuko2001 Thanks for sharing about your friend 💪🏼
Christine Ha : I can't believe you replied! 😁 I'm fangirling now. HAHAHA... Hope I'll be able to taste your food. For now I just have to settle making your recipes from your cookbook. 😜 Take care... ❤
mizuko2001
mizuko2001 it's not the same without joe and the trash can
Christine Ha you are an inspiration!

I remember I cried at that PIE EPISODE. 😂😂~)
still the best thing at Master Chef
Lawless me too and her first dish
Yes! I love to re-watch the judges comments on her beautiful pie!
Best scene XD
Im sorry. But can u tell me what ep is it?
Thương Dương ep 5 bạn nhé
In Ho Chi Minh there's a restaurant called "Noir", have you heard of it? Guests have to eat in the dark and the staff (waiters/ waitresses) are blind; they guide you to your seats and help you eat. Maybe it could be something that'd fit you if you opened a restaurant. It could be a really interesting experience for Jon, too. Take him there next time you come to Hcm :)
+seighart90 yes I've designed special menus for them but haven't been myself
It would take it to the next level if even the chefs couldn't see also, it would all come down to taste and texture anyway
Or dans le noir in London. Would be a lovely place for a date!

In Malaysia, there’s a restaurant with just that concept: Dining In The Dark.
She reminds me of Toph Beifong from Avatar the last airbender. She may be vision impaired, but she’s a badass. Toph, the earthbending badass who invented metal bending and Christine, the absolute badass who defied the odds and cooks like a dream
She is genuinely one of the most incredible people on this planet
Wow I didn't know you had an auto immune illness I got diagnosed with an auto immune illness too my illness attacked my kidneys and brain last time,I felt my whole world had crashed like I could no longer do what I wanted to do but seeing you it has inspired me to chase my dreams I'm still me and not my illness. Before I got sick I wasn't much of a cook but I found now that cooking is an excape I'm not as good as you but good enough to keep my husband happy.Your story has brought me to tears good inspirational tears I wish good vibes in all of your future projects
I always get so excited when someone mentions Vietnam, the 6 years I spent there were amazing
Vish Wah im viet, so what was your favorite food from the country?
xXMithrilDiamondXx it's difficult to pick but my top three would be pho, bun cha and banh bao
Vish Wah I only ate pho and bahn bao lol... Seems like I am not Asian anymore ;_;. Pho is basically a pork/beef/ox soup with noodles and bahn bao is a pork bun.
just finished rewatching your season on masterchef w hasanabi. you’re an inspiration to everyone around you, christine! lots of love from bangladesh❤️
I still have teary eyes whenever I try to remember who was the second- best in Master Chef season 3 and realized that he was gone.
I just completed watching masterchef season 3 and instantly become my inspiration to take risk and make my dream come true. Thank you.

lestin estil i know me too god this is soo sad. I thought while watching this man he must have realized his dream too but then that news drop i don't think i would have been ready for it either eays. He just seemed always like a fun person and cheerful and loving....
The winner is blind, and the Runner up has bipolar, what a great tv episode
lestin estil who is Josh?
from the moment i saw your audition for season 3 i was amazed by everything that you do and been so inspired every time. I told myself, gosh i hope she makes it far! and every week you amazed me more and more and more, getting more excited every time you made it through another week. when you won i jumped with joy and it was so amazing to watch your journey! 😭😭
Thank you! ♥️ Appreciate you sharing
i honestly feel horrible about what happened to josh, its honestly sucks that such a gentle giant went down that way, god truly is a cruel person, still despite this being 3 years ago, congrats to you.
You are a true inspiration. Got my grown black man ass crying over your video clips. Not gonna lie lost it when you cried about the Apple Pie. God Bless you and can't wait to visit your restaurant one day soon.
Man i dont usually cry when it comes to people's backstory. But I saw season 3. And her audition and her backstory just bought tears to my eyes. I was balling up quietly. And the fact that she won is like god tier.
I was Team Christine from the beginning. I knew you could do it and in the first episode you said it! You were the next Master Chef! You are beyond amazing and such an inspiration. God bless you.
Desiree Dan
Desiree Daniel she deserves to be the master or legendary chef she's like the female yukihira souma in Shokugeki No Soma!
Tiir
She dedicated the cookbook to him
If it might ease your mind a little. The reason he did it was because he had Schizophrenia, so it was most likely not a decision he would have made in sound mind. Though I do not think winning master chief would have changed that unfortunately.
I'm glad she still keeps in touch with Felix I liked their friendship.
I’m here in 2021 after watching the entire season just in tears! Such an inspiration and I couldn’t be happier for you….I cried like a baby and ugly tears too during the apple pie episode!
Rip Josh! Heartbroken!
I'm just watching all the masterchief seasons for this first time and everything you made was absolute perfection. It's obvious that you earned the love and respect of the contestants and you are an inspiration to everyone.
🙏🏼
"I'm not here to just be an inspiration, I'm not here just to be a gimmick. I want to win the whole thing"
Paraphrased but that was my favourite quote from you Christine, all the best in your endeavours.
One of my favorite winners. Up to this day you can see the passion lighted up inside of her, which makes me even more convinced that she deserved it.
You're season was by far the most amazing season of masterchef! U guys bonded with each other and its just incredible! You're truly an inspirational person Christine!
Love from India Christine
You are inspirational and keep going
You look so pure god bless you
*@ChristineHa:* I just saw your video for the first time, it was a Goal Cast video and it brought me to tears! I’ve been working tirelessly for months upon an educational blog that I’m building from the ground up, and I feel so burned out lately as all of my free time has been dedicated to this educational project with my goal being to educate people around the world at no direct cost to anyone. When I watched your video, it renewed me in some strange way because it made me think once again that anything is possible despite having not felt that way during this entire project that I am taking on alone
Two things you said really stuck with me, the first was that “if you don’t try, you have a 0% chance of success” and the second, which I found even more inspirational, was that *“if you cannot see how steep the mountain is, you have nothing to fear”.* Your words about the mountain moved me and may be one of the best pieces of advice I have ever received in my life. I want to say thank you to you for gifting that to me. It feels like you blew oxygen into my flame that was beginning to flicker out. Thank you once again Christine 😊🙌🤩
Thank you for this 🙏🏼
I'm still watching it in 2020 and i miss that time seeing you and Josh ❤
Christine, you were always a class act on Masterchef, and you carry yourself with even more grace and elegance five + years later. Best wishes for continued success.
Luca and Christine, the living proofs of determination and inspiration
Mrs. Ha is a truly talented, strong, and amazing woman. She deserved that Masterchef win by being an extraordinary chef with such creative dishes so incredibly excuted. Simply an amazing woman. God bless her.
Just an incredibly inspiring young lady Christine is. She is a hero to so many.
🙏🏼

IMHO, the "rubbish pie" was your best episode. Today, that "rubbish pie" is one of the best apple pies on earth. My brother has been to your Blind Goat restaurant, and he says that the "rubbish pie" is to die for because it is so good.
Aww awesome!
Christine I just watched season 3 of Masterchef USA you are an inspiration to all of us I understand today that disability is not a reason not to achieve our dreams you are my🎉🎉
What an eloquent, humble and talented chef. Well done Christine... You are an inspiration to many!
4:20 it took me some time to realize that she actually says "I see Felix etc"
It made me smile
I don't have words that can express my respect for this lady sufficiently
We blind folks always say, “IC“ just like you
I just finished marathoning season 3 since I want to watch all seasons before season 8.
I saw Christine and holy crap that was such a ride. I'm so proud of you, even 5 years later.
Same lol
Omg... I didn't know Josh passed away :(
R.I.P JOSH ♡
I am from the Philippines.
I watched all the episodes of master chef from the audition of all the contestants with you and that's when I was impressed with you.
and in every elimination there is also the nervousness and I am very happy every time you praise and impress them sister Christine.
I'm 21 years old and have 2 children. Since I started my family, I've tried to learn how to cook because back then I wasn't allowed to cook because I was an only child and I only went to school and studied.
now you are my inspiration to learn more.
I'm so happy that you won even though it's been a few years since you won, I'll never get tired of watching the episode with you and your life over and over again...
congrats sister christine.

Christine, you are an inspiration to millions of people, including me.
Hi Christine,
I am legally blind since birth ( ROP of Prematurity and optic Atrophy) and I listened to Master Chef when you were on the show and you inspired me to follow my dreams no matter what people say! I get asked all the time “ How can you go that if your Blind? “ people treated me like I couldn’t do anything but I am glad I am independent and learned a lot on my own like cooking etc.
Thank you for your encouragement!

We binged watch MasterChef just to see you. You are an inspiration! There really is no excuse in life, with motivation, perseverance and hard work, you can be anything whi you want to be! I admire your courage! :)
Chị thực sự là nguồn cảm hứng rất lớn cho em đó chị Christine ạ.
Đôi lúc mệt mỏi lại mở MC3 lên coi và thấy chị như một nguồn động lực to lớn vậy
Love you so much❤❤❤
Hi Christine! I just subscribed to your channel. I am from the Philippines and I just finished Season 3 of Masterchef US.(I am on vacation so I have time to watch a lot of videos at home, hehe..) Thank you for being an inspiration not only to the vision impaired but also for all the women all over the world! More power to you!
Josh seemed like a sweetheart.
Ya know you are a huge huge inspiration to me and everyone! It’s a sad thing to loose such a great person. I just finished watching the season and I was thrilled to find that you won. However I loved josh dearly. He was so inspiring, fun, and skilled in what he did.
I remember watching the audition for it and immediately saying, “He’s going to make it to the end” and he did.
I looked up where everyone is now and it absolutely broke me to find what had happened. Josh had people who loved him and he still does, many and many people do! He is an inspiration, just as you are!
I like to keep a list of things I’d like to never forget, wether it’s comprised of people, movies, shows, or places...and you and josh have made such an impact on me, that you bet you guys are on my list ✨❤️
Season 3 was one of my favourites. I am so happy to watch your videos and see where your amazing talents bring you! I didn't know you come to Canada! If you ever come to Muskoka and go to Huntsville, Ontario for the love god go to 3 Guys and a Stove for brunch (weekend only). Everything is from scratch and soooo goooddd.
Back to 2010 until early 2012, I didn’t watch Masterchef because I wasn’t a big fan of the show... but when my friend told me that season 3 which was airing in 2012 was amazing, because of YOU.. the inspirational contestant, so i started to watch Every episode of Masterchef US SINCE THEN! And until now i am one of the biggest fan of the show and you! 😃 Thank you for being such a wonderful person and inspiration chef!! God bless you, Christine 😊
+sylvia angelina thank you for sharing 😍
The amazing thing was YOU! Seeing you take on each challenge and succeeding, even when it was extremely difficult, was a weekly reminder to try harder, to do better. You are such a bright light and all of the stars were aligned to display your beautiful way with food and your tenacity. A well-deserved win.
Thank you so much!!
you will always be an inspiration to me.
actually, every time i feel that i can do nothing and feel useless,
i go to youtube and watch your video, that challenge where you made apple pie
and watch that all the judge love your apple pie where in the beginning you were not sure about the pie
and you nailed it
every time i watched that video, it gave me a boost of confidence
not to give up, to believe that i CAN do
Thanks for everything, Christine. You have inspired me and a lot of people more than you think you have. This world is blessed to have you with us
+Jihan Putra thank you for this
