- It has been 50 Years since
The Leighton Buzzard Light Railway celebrating their 150th Anniversary off the narrow gauge line linking the sand quarries to the main line.
A gala event to celebrate the anniversary take place over 5th & 6th October with ten locomotive in steam hauling two passenger trains as well a demonstration freight train.

There was a lot of steam action during the weekend and it was something not to miss much as it was enjoyable.
Nice video but had great weekend at GCR gala, love that line I need to come here again as last came here in 1999 but drove past here few years ago when running

Another excellent video, thanks Joe, and what a wonderful selection of locos. I think my favourite has to be Chaloner - so much character. Was it my imagination or did they really put on a much better show on the Sunday? Kind regards, Bob.
0:27 that bit where you stand how do I get there is it far from station thinking going out next month to here if still open with case rises
Oh I see. My great advice for you is to drive up to the location or look on Google Map which is great way to get there.
