I always look forward to Saturday morning coffee time with Marty. It has been fun watching you tune your T.S. 350. We all do similar things to tune, but differently and I like to learn to improve my own skills. Thank you Marty for taking the time!

I lost the head at Butch’s wood track.. found it put it in my pocket and have not seen it since… it is always the joke when the car performs well at the track or comes out of the slot.. “he didn’t see that coming…” 😂
Good info Marty. Thank you! You can try replacing the lead up front with some tungsten putty right behind the guide post. Nice little pocket for it there. Just treat the putty with nail polish after to keep it in place better (the putty tends to soften and migrate over time).
I also trimmed a bit of the chassis up front to remove a little hitch out of my body float. Floats much freer now.
Lastly, on front tires with tread, true as best you can (as you did), then coat with floor shine. I put a few coats on after each cures while the wheels are spinning on the truer. This seems to level out between the remaining tread and makes a quiet and low friction front tire.

Joseph.. we are on the same wave link.. great tips! I used floor shine too. I could not find my putty… I usually use putty to move weight around to find the best spot. I have a small container of it.. could not find it on the mess that is my desk 😂

We've still not spotted the TS Ferrari 350 here in Europe and so either there is a hold up with the shipping or else your guys in North America have taken up all the initial production? Sometimes things cut the other way and we should not now be too long. Personally, I'd now look at a Piranha 25k ball bearing motor and changed gearing as well albeit, and paradoxically. sometimes we fing that tuning down the track a volt or two to deliver more hand controller granular control can deliver more as well. Of course, a Slot Invasion guide and, as you say, fresh urethane tires. As you are aware, dialling out the tail or oversteer without making prone for a deslot is 'the magic sauce'.
Darren, hopefully you will have them soon in Europe. It is a wonderful car to drive..

Nice tune job Marty. Much improved. I’ve found the same thing on my Thunderslots. They like a small amount of weight on the nose. The guides are always a little springy. The lead helps.

Marty…Lindsey here and I have a bunch of new NSR and now the Thunderslot 350’s 2 of the #23 liveries. Just had a text tonight that two more NSR Corvettes are in the mail from Electric Dreams as well as another NSR Livery so I am looking at 3 more! I am slowly building A SERIOUS COLLECTION of slot cars now exceeding the 160 slot cars…. That includes my MRSlot car the MR 1032 Shadow DN4 #1 George Folmer #1 Livery from 74’ Can Am…Besides your Thunder slots what is the other super livery that you like the best?

Marty put Thunderslots grey tires on and you will go under 5 sec. I have it on all my Thunderslot car and you can’t get them out of the slot, but still waiting for mine Ferraris here in UK
