The last time I played the F-86K, I finished each match with extreme mental pain from flying this brick.

@@HRCSJSUAMMAS the F100 at least has AOA, rate fighters are cool but when you need to kill people quickly at the start of the match you'd better pull hard without changing your trajectory too much. This is why Mirages and Jaguars are so good at the starts but become practically useless for carrying due to poor speed retention, and in the very opposite side, why the MiG19 sucks so badly at the start of the match but can 1v10 only person standing and win the match by doing 3v1s
This plane was absolute pain when grinding the Germans. The constant 10 BR lobbies with it and the fact that the F86K is worse in almost every aspect compared to its competitors at around 9 BR is crazy.
@@TrixoPLAYS it's like AOA limiter = bad at start of the game but good for late game and high AOA = good at the start bad for carries and then you have the MiG19 that days screw you I got everything... Other than the appallingly slow shells that go 700m/s the plane is just mind numbing, it's ridiculous it used to share BR with the Sabre dog

he just commits some small mistakes he can quickly prevent from snowballing, and since he seeks perfection for himself he finds like he's not delivering as much as he wants. But the fun part is, that he's not gonna laugh at you if you perform badly, unlike most great players with boasting ego... or other players that are absolutely dogshit and call you bad out of pure envy because you managed to out play their MiG23MLD on your F104A in a short distance gunfight.

he was lucky with the opponent, apparently there is a very weak player. If the mig 17 had a player with at least 1-1.5 K/D on the mig-17, I guarantee you that even DEFYN would not have succeeded, because the F-86K is an absolutely terrible dogfight aircraft

You should totally play the Sa'ar. It's slower than an A-10 after 2-3 turns, accelerates slower than early props and has the funny shafrir-2 missiles (and ccip for bombs)

I adored the F86K but it ripped so easily. I rarely got kills with it but it is an awesome plane. I'd occasionally get aces with it but I *ALWAYS* got stomped.

Your enemies just didn't know how bad the F-86K's maneuverability really was. If they had flown on this plane at least once, they would have realized that it can be twisted even on Canberra, you just don't need to make stupid mistakes.

The unit for energy is Joule and not Newton, Newton is used for thrust.
In addition, it offers itself for larger numbers to work with a Si prefix such as 350 000 joules 350 kilo joules.

Heres a suggestion, try out the MiG-21F-13 and see how hard it is to play, 60 rounds of ammo, and 2 R-3Ss at 9.3 and you usually see uptiers.

6:54 Not quite sure about that part tho. It was true when the m24 cannon first came into to the game, it was a copy-pasted t-160. But lately gaijin noticed the mistake and fixed both the fire rate and muzzle velocity of the gun. Not sure if they changed the belt or not, but someone does mention it feels like firing t-160 rounds(damage wise) with AN/M3.(Well it should be, since m24 was actually the Air Force-version AN/M3)
The muzzle velocity is where I’m not sure because I know the numbers on stat cards are not always trustworthy. For instance, the stat card muzzle velocity of HE rounds in Mk103 cannon is the same low velocity as Mk108 rounds, which you can clearly tell it’s not the same.(Correct me if gaijin did fix this since I haven’t touched anything with Mk103 for quite some time) Maybe the same shit happens here, but I also can’t tell since I haven’t touched anything with m24 cannons for a long time either.

Tried it, still hate it. Burned through all the free repairs on the German one before even getting compressor, you just can never get the guns on and even when you do they do nothing.
The “speed” from the afterburner doesn’t help you and you’re slower than an A5 Sabre without it. The missiles are rank 4 and I’ve barely broken into rank 2 even from ground pounding, the belts just don’t do enough. 2/10 still better than the F84F stock grind
at the end of 11.3 matches i just get my whole team to bum rush the opposing af and we can usually get the last person camping there. the sams usually dont shoot at more than one or maybe two people at a time

I have the italian one and yea its an ok plane, when it was at 9.3 it was just bad, now its usable
I've faced them a lot on the MiG19 and even though they're quite climby they're still too slow and the MiG19 even out dogfights them at nearly most speeds below 1050 kmh so I just spare them too alongside the rest of subsonic aircraft I might meet.
I don't understand how a plane with leading edge wing slats can turn this bad. It's not much different from the og sabre, why is the turn rate so much worse...
Damn the only time I see this thing in my mig 17 they are circiling the airfield or running straight for it after I dodged their headon ...
Very nice flying but you had matches with roughly equal BR. Try this plane undertiered facing mig 21s, mig 19, etc and maybe these tactics wont apply... Great performance though and perfect aiming!

A4s had one thing going for them.. i.e. the air spawn (and resultant early game potential) and now that's no longer the case.

@@reinbeers5322 when it was 6.3 it got many downtiers like the P51H and F8F but it was unpopular and got it's shit clubbed by yak9Ps Ta152Hs and I225s and basically every American prop except F7F.

@@reinbeers5322 it's more 7.0 than the Mk24 itself, my god even an La-7 is faster than it and the yak3u is a better energy and rate fighter that can even one circle the mk24 plus the stubby griffons (mk22/24) have awful over roll and the instructor loves to input rudder too much. I've crashed more times into the ground with the mk24 than with the I225 and this latter one has abhorrent compression past 450 IAS.

Armored target belts? Any particular reason for it cause I use air and it's usually an almost fatal crit
As someone who mainly uses Armoured belts over air I feel it is much more consistent damage wise especially when flying planes such as the F2 Sabre or using planes with M3 .50's. War Thunder has their damage models for planes done in a way where HE has a change to spark as opposed to AP. This was at least true in older versions of the game but a lot of older players such as myself still opt for armoured because of the aforementioned problems.

If you’re flying the F-80A, all you can really do is pray that your team isn’t 75% F-84s and that the good planes you do have on your team have competent pilots. If you’re flying the F-84, all I can really say is… why?
@@sillylittleowlguy2392 Thanks man. I'm not stupid enough to fly the F-84 but 90 percent of my games are full of them. I can get more kills like 3-4 now but it is such a pain. By the time ive done anything my team is all dead

D-12 is a direct upgrade over the D-13 imo, trading that 30mm for another 20mm.
@@reinbeers5322 other way around, D-12 has the MK 108 where as the D-13 has 3 MG 151. I prefer the D-12 for the red under belly skin mostly lol. And I’ve become pretty proficient in the 30mm, mostly just energy fight and don’t fire the guns till I’ve gotten them slow. Haven’t flown the D-13, don’t own it. D-9 is okay, but stiffer.

The A-8 still has my heart though.
@@reinbeers5322 I love the A8, the air spawn helps a lot. She’s HEAVY and doesn’t hold energy quite as well as the other Anton’s and not nearly as well as the Dora. I find the Dora very comfortable at 5.0. I also run min fuel on the Dora, 13m of fuel gives you very good power to weight. I’ve never run out either, low and decided to rtb, but never out of gas.
@@reinbeers5322 I also really like the F8 for the sick skins it has. When it was 4.7 it was a menace, honestly. Now that it faces 6.0 tho it’s a bit rough, since it’s even heavier than the A8 lmao

I spaded both the F-104A and the C. I liked them both somewhat. I simply reject the fact that it has missiles and get some kills.
I actually really like the 104A, it got a pretty substantial thrust buff a couple of months ago
