Michael Shuman is an amusing bass player to watch. When I see him in pics or walking around between songs, he looks like he'd be a more relaxed player like Dean or maybe Troy, but then Lost Art comes on and his neck is broken from headbanging
I've never heard The Fun Machine Took a Shit and Died in studio version. This song just gave me chills. totally blasting this song live when I get home on my stereo.

What an impressive and diverse list of songs to choose from to play at their concerts. When every song is great, it's like a buffet of awesomeness. One of the most unique hard rock bands that has ever existed. Thanks Josh and QOTSA.
Although I love to death their new work on ...Like Clockwork, this little show remains the best I've seen them perform (via youtube xD). Perfect setlist, perfect execution, perfect timing, perfect everything!
The moment I fell in love for them was when I was 14/15 and first heard LAOKAS in a graphics lesson. Kingsway High School didn't give me much, but it gave me that.
best Qotsa show ever been indeed, watch heineken open'er 2013,it's pretty badass as well including some of the new songs! Longlive Queens of the fuckin stone age!
can wait to they come back to newzealand seeing this bought back awesome memories .the only bad thing was we only got a 40 minute show cause they opened for the smashing pumpkins should have been vise verse in my opinion hopfully they tour there new album

@@janhundling4647 same notes really, although as the solo is over a G chord then probably it is more apt to say G dorian with the fourth omitted, the riff starts with a G as well. Also when I wrote C minor I was referring to the original Spiders and Vinegaroons, this is transposed two half-steps up from that so it would be D minor but dorian fits better indeed.
I was at this festival, but we could not get tickets, so we stood outside the gates while Arctic Monkeys played and then my friends drug me off kicking and screaming before Kings of Leon played. Had no idea QOTSA were also there!
That's Joey playing a jam block mounted atop his bass drum, it's pretty much a plastic cowbell. You can't really see it because it's obstructed by the ride cymbal.

Troy is so underrated. he's an incredibly original guitarist.
great band!
Underrated? He plays with great bands

Studio version is on 'B-Sides and Bonus'. You posted a year ago so you prolly know that by now.
He didn't sing the line "You're ten pounds of shit in a five pound bag"!!!!

Shuman drives qotsa into a new level of bass frequency. what a crazy dude.
All those notes and solos nailed by Josh, yet he's hammered. Killer.
How do you know?
Dude I think I just lost my headache

The moment I fell in love with QOTSA was there.
After every damn song, in my head the next song in the album starts playing
In Florida NEED TO SEE THEM i guess will have to travel
I'm 55 bro still loving these tunes and riding bikes. Don't let the number game get ya coz that really is the end. :)
Their might be better guitar players on this planet than Homme. Might. He's a creative genius.
Troys harmonics are absolutely beautiful
their 2007 Werchter show had tons more energy. So fun to watch! do yourselves a favor and check it out if you haven't. Cheers to our Boys!!!❤
great josh vocals, didnt know he was so good in live singing
I wish I had a designated cigarette lighting guy...
Although I love to death their new work on ...Like Clockwork, this little show remains the best I've seen them perform (via youtube xD). Perfect setlist, perfect execution, perfect timing, perfect everything!

@@alexanderdewaelenva Tronald Dumb! Did you accept your defeat yet?

Matando a saudade enquanto o novo álbum não chega :)
já chegou faz tempo , pessoa de 8 anos atrás
thanks uploader . great show
Awesome upload, thanks!
That's probably the best and most bad-ass description I've ever seen. Just add "and drink jack daniel's" to that and it's gold.
They play 3's & 7's and Make It With Chu..
2 songs from..Era Vulgaris
These are gonna be awesome at Download Festival! Cool as cucumbers :)

Hope they'll be back on Werchter 2013!!
Not one, but two! Make It Wit Chu and 3's and 7's are both on Era Vulgaris. :)
Awesome!!!!
Ho yeah will be so nice!!!!
Make It Wit Chu, The Fun Machine Took a Shit and Died, 3's & 7's are all from the Era Vulgaris album, which was awesome in my opinion! ;)

They REALLY need to put Mikey on vocals for Millionaire. It needs the screaming.
Fucking amazing show!!! Probably the best straight rock n' roll band of their generation!
what a beautiful, beautiful fucking line up! a came long way from ukraine to that gig to see tham! yeah!
great show
The track after little sister is a complete masterpiece have no idea where I can find it!!
IN 3 DAYS THEY ARE PLAYING IN BUENOS AIRES - ARGENTINA!! SHIT JUST GOT REAL
Que tal estuvo eso?
You were right, their new album is sick, sick, sick
"Ginger for life" awesome
0:44:16 best guitar scale ever
That's the Homme Scale!
He's playing the lick from Spiders and Vinegaroons. I'm guessing that lick is based on Greek Modes, whatever those are.
It's C minor, only the seventh is omitted
@@washingtonirving2137 its dorian

I was there
Same here!
Bbscenely amazingly performance of fun machine, i took my own shit and died
Seriously awesome vocal performance, don't mind the lyrics' mistake, u just have to love JH (and the rest of the guys of course)
What's the name of the song that starts at around the 20min mark? Just scratching the surface of the awesomeness that is Queens....and its rad! Help!
Inspired show!
QOTSA took over as most important band from former title holder Radiohead
+cambruoso, no offence man, but Radiohead is nothing, comparing to QOTSA;)
+MrDaveangelo1 No offence taken
+MrDaveangelo1 they are two totally different bands
most important *rock band, maybe ;)
Radiohead is totally different QOTSA is the best rock band ever
Pieter, ge blijft een fucking held.
They release album in June.
sooo fucking gradnios....love them!!!!!! sry bad english xD
Dave is coming back on drums on this next album and nick will do vocals in one song i believe.
Feel Good Hit Of The Summer
They played 3's &7's and Make It Wit Chu
THEY ARE SUCH AND INCREDIBLE LIVE BAND
dammit im trying to leave you a link that says that nick will return with QOTSA for a new song
3's & 7's, Make It Wit Chu, and even The Fun Machine (as a bonus as it did not make Lullabies) came of Era Vulgaris?!
That's Joey playing a jam block mounted atop his bass drum, it's pretty much a plastic cowbell. You can't really see it because it's obstructed by the ride cymbal.
Since Nick Olivieri is gone, the backing vocals are turned down :/
If you mean his main guitar, its a "Maton BB1200JH". It's his signature guitar, it'll cost you around 2000-3000$ I believe!
Fucking Yes!
damn i can barely even tell what troy's playing
aging definitely suits josh. this one's better than the one from the early days, mi opinion.
Cool video bro, needs more Dave Grohl
BOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
I wanna know who the hell followed that (or wanted to)? soooo good. Come back to us, we miss u. I needed a new record like 3 years ago :)
What about Make it wit chu, the fun machine took a shit and died and 3s & 7s?
Agree, guess thats why Mickey is screaming that loud on feel good :)
33:43 Roadie lights cig for Josh lol
If you look at Josh for the first time he doesn't seem like a rock star. The more you watch he becomes a Rock God!
