Believe me dude, you need to see them! Seen them 3 times this year (in Amsterdam, at Pinkpop & Rock Werchter) and each three of them were so worth it. It's just so tight!
The 'Out of The Black' section is absolutely godlike. The build up, the break in the middle, holding the riff down till Ben gets back to his kit cause he's busy getting involved with the crowd. Insane work
He’s pretty secretive about his rig. I did some studying and I noticed he’s using a couple of Kemper rack units for his amps. As for his basses, I would kill to get the black & gold bass as a squier signature model. So sexy.
Been listening to this band since their debut LP and they always hit the mark. So glad I randomly stumbled upon that album in my UA-cam recommended back then. Easily one of my favorite groups still.
Saw them a few years ago at a festival in the US. They had the crowd mesmerized. Loudest band of the entire weekend. The ground was shaking and the drums were hitting me in the chest. This is what live music should sound like.
Holy shit they were good before but my god live they have become phenomenal. I love the banter between Mike and the crowd. The fist bump with Ben after Hook Line and Sinker...and the tone of that bass is just beautiful and filthy.
Seeing this is freaking insane. 2 people only able to make that complete sound. That bizarre and non-conventional and creative way to play the bass combined with the incredible drummer is simply amazing
I am absolutely blown away these guys do not miss Anything no beat left, unturned , it's unreal..wow, I sound like a cliche but , I really mean it , Where have , I been...
Been in two minds as to see these guys live or not as they never play local to me. Found out today they are the support act for muse which I’ve tickets for. So what was going to be an already awesome night has just got even better.
@@ChaseDougie bro the polyrhythms that he creates are insane. Literally structures Royal Blood's whole sound cause its only one guitar. Shit would be so boring if it was a normal drummer.

You don’t ever notice the keyboard player? Who’s also playing programs and backing tracks? It doesn’t take away from how good they are but for the love of gawd please stop pretending this sound comes from a drum kit and a bass. It’s the meat(bass)and potatoes(drums)but it’s not the gravy(samples, keyboard and backing tracks).
@@davidhaworth7152 The keyboard player has only been added since the last album though. It has made their sound more variated tbh. I believe I've not really seen him on stage when they played songs from their first two albums at the times I was there, but could be wrong on that
@@jarnemelk yeah. He has only been there due to the effects used on this album and when I saw them in Manchester this year, I don't believe he was having to do as much when it came to stuff from HDWGSD and their first album.

Makes me want to play bass again. I ditched it because i wanted to learn guitar to create a more diverse sound, seems like i don't need to. :-D
These guys have rapidly climbed to the top of my "must see live" bucket list.
