thanks for this one... only one with A section and Bridge explained ... demo 6/8 timing too .... great lesson.... got it first time thru... wrote the chords down... you make it easy...
So many wonderful details that give the appropriate colour, broken down to essentials and presented clearly. Now I can accompany my friends who are more into "electric" genres without sounding amateurish... Big thanks!
Excellent job. Closest to what I have found on UA-cam and very helpful. Also, I love that Tele. 5-hole pickguard with a 50's-style two-tone finish that really looks beautiful. I'll check out the video link you supplied earlier. Thanks!!
I love this song and I’m fascinated by the playing style of Peter Green. I love Gary Moore and now definitely see who influenced his expression on his blues recordings.
@@shawnbrisbon9304 That's what I was thinking for your videos it would be great. It can almost sound like fingerpicking but it's all with a pick. It also helps with pick accuracy too.
@@jonmaclennan I tried it very early on and gave up. Now that I’m used to fingerpicking patterns and singing I should try again. I just may get this time if I stick with it.😅
Kind of in the same vain song as All These Things written by Allen Toussaint under the name of Naomi Neville first recorded by Art Neville in 1962 made famous by the Uniques recorded in 1966 with Joe Stampley singing lead then he later released the song again with a faster tempo in 1976 and it became a #1 hit on the country charts. A lot of artist have recorded the song but the slow version used to be the most requested slow dance song at the bars in it’s heyday. Great job, you have been posting some good songs, always interesting content. Albatross is one of the most beautiful instrumentals that Peter Green wrote, (my opinion only for what it is worth), I love that song and when I start to play it, it seems like I will play it for 1 or 2 hours on guitar. LOL 😂 Thanks.
Yup! It's a team built custom shop 3 tone sunburst double bound tele with a bird's eye maple neck, stock pickups,. Here is a video about it: ua-cam.com/video/ziVlGHenR4w/v-deo.html
Sorry Uhh I know these are tough songs. A lot of the stuff I post on my channel is more intermediate or even advanced. It's hard to always cover every level but good news next week I'm doing Mr. Tambourine Man. That one doesn't have any bars so stay tuned.
@@jonmaclennan already covered it my self lol that's the trouble with none bar chords after awhile tend to hit a brick wall I can play reggae style bar chords and the high strings style but I get confused on position of fret board e.g thick sting and a string have different notes so I can't even do it that way around oh well back to surfing you tube looking for new songs but I will still stay tuned always riffs I can use plus ideas on songs that I can try to work around the bar chords I did see something some where about invertions instead of bar chords trouble is I watch that much I don't remember where
Only gone and flaming done it not consistent but definitely a chord with e shape full bar 5th and d chord I think same shape 10th fret did it twice then a bit muted not clean but I will take that as successful
For sure. It's always a great idea to keep the BPM in mind. Those are actually marked in the handouts and guitar pro files you can get for my UA-cam lessons here: www.jonmaclennan.com/ytv

That was very clear and easy to follow. Thank you for posting.

Yeah Peter got such a sweet sounding tone. Arpeggio picking like this works great behind vocals too.
@@jonmaclennan another technique for me to learn.

Hi Jon any none bar chords coming up

Don't know if it's of any relevance, but I think it would be nice if you posted bpm's
