I was on the polling booth from rss side and I have noticed most of the Muslims bring only adhar card and then they start fighting to give them voting slips . But some how I find their voter I'd through there name and tried my best to get most voter id . And then later I found most of them already voted and wasting our time so we cant give time to others even some of them never applied for voter id but still they fight to vote . They are really worst. But what more worst than this is that the major Hindus left camp if there was crowd and not voted .

Everyone missed most important point why Aadhar Card and Voter ID card can't be one ( without a chip ) because the most important difference is "AGE LIMIT". A new born baby can have aadhaar card but not voter card. You need to be 18+ to have a voter card.

As a polling officer I can confirm 12 identity cards is approved by the ECI for the general election 2024.. and Aadhaar Card is one of them.... We have accepted Aadhaar Card, bank passbook, Labour card issued by GOI, etc.... please don't spread the news ONLY Voter ID issued by ECI is accepted. You must know about Marked Copy, Register of Voter, ASD list, CSV list, etc
