Dude love your vids - don’t take this poorly. You sounds exactly like Patton Oswalt - and he is the voice actor from the eat from the movie ratatouille. Thinking about this Rat retiring from cooking and now playing New World just makes me happy.
Yes would be super nice if you can find the time to elaborate :) I just switched from bow/spear ro musket/rapier at lvl 61 because bow felt so weak...maybe I was wrong? @@KristoferESO
Hey thanks for the vid. I’m late to seeing it so a lot more gear is available now. I’m playing boltcaster rapier currently and everyone seems to prioritize attuned leather pants but what are you thoughts not 3 weeks later? I kind of want to try a tumbler/healing breeze build in place of the pants. Thoughts?
I play on low settings with view distance cranked to max, as for keybinds I like something that is as ergonomic as possible. I use qwes to move around (upsidedown wasd) 123 abilities, 45ad for consumables and shift for ult!
Musket does need a bit of a buff. It s very high skill weapon that requires headshots on bobbing and weaving targets. HS multiplier should be 2.5x not 1.3x. Pressing right click to melee isn't hard. timing reloads, velocity (needs to be faster, pellet guns have better velocity), bullet drop and needing headshots to get any empower buffs is very difficult with how fast NW movement is. FS can get the same damage output WITH AoE, no skill involved, just aim at the ground to get even better DPS.
I feel the decision to buckle down on either Musket/Rapier or Bow/Rapier endgame pvp is one of the toughest decisions 😅 I mainly just play 3v3's, Open World pvp races/duels, and endgame PVE. I see many benefits of both weapons, but I'm trying my best to learn the timing of reloads and evades 😅
Personally I think Musket is very easy to play since it's hit-scan but it could use a little buff. 2.5x is definitely insane though. Maybe 1.8x would be a good buff.
@@Olixer109 it's not hitscan. Hasn't been for a good while. It's a projectile and not even a fast one either. Barely faster than an arrow light attack from a bow.
I was playing around with musket trapper tree last night. Did you know, that sticky bomb can be dodged by other players. First of, it was hard to land the bomb on other players and would often require me trading some health to land it. Then after 3 secs, the players would just dodge making the bomb do 0 dmg. I feel like that is really unfair. Was wondering if that was intended.
been finding this build very strong and fun to play. one problem I faced is sword and board players. Whenever I play against a player with super high hp it always ends up as a stalemate. They constantly block, while I always outmanoeuvre them. All fights with sword and board players have ended up in a truce and we just run in opposite directions. Any tips?
My same problem, it always seems like a battle of patience. Whenever I lose my patience and try to press for damage I get stunlocked and owned... Same for them if they block less shots to try and go in hard I own them otherwise it's a draw!
Great video bro but what do u think about the AIMBOT that Amazon include recently i was testing that on world PVP and is like i don't Even need to use habilities i hit 90% of the time with basics is so broken
Honestly only a few situations when it feels strong, like bb, pillar or fleche, but it moves your camera around a ton so it's bad for large scale, bad at a distance, so net I have not had many issues at all with it and hardly ever notice it
Nice guide ty. But i was wondering how elemental aversion was better than enchanted ward ? (Ward works against all attacks where as elemental only ,works vs elemental dmg )
Hi! Thanks for the vid. I was thinking of making a new character and have not touched musket yet, but have mastered the bow. Any advice on a leveling build for this combo? Also any starting archetype that would give a boost would be great. I know you have the musketeer archetype but I’m not opposed to starting out as something else and crafting the weapons or buying them. Thanks!
I play a ton of apex, and say my aim is well above average but I noticed you can auto lock on with the musket, is there certain times when I should auto lock on with the musket?
Iv only met one guy really using the blunderbuss and i killed him. And im fs/ig. It definitely hurts when using the aimlock but to be honest I cant really tell if someone is using ainlock unless they are missing and those with skill show versus aimlock.
I'm really enjoying the musket, but could you explain the reason for making the damage elemental? Is that because there are more potential augments for elemental damage Vs just having physical damage? Or is it to do with opponents resistances? Awesome content as always!
It's a mix of both, 100 and 150 int give us a big boost to elemental damage, but also most peole build against thrust damage in pvp since it's the most common physical ranged damage type, and also the most common damage type in general
I loved early pvp but now everyone is running and you can't kill them. I just so hard to kill someone running. Also I think the levelling and optimizing is so fast. The game is literrally finished in 2 weeks

For Bow ranger is great because you get a Bow right away but also 50 engineering to make a strong blue bow right off the bat too! Honestly Bow rapier is a bit better than musket rapier, I just prefer musket!

Awesome videos man! Keep it up!
Loving your content man! What are your thoughts on musket vs bow in pvp?
I would also like to know his thoughts on this! 🤙
Bow is better all around tbh, musket is more fun
I'd love to hear you elaborate on this one of these days :) new here and loving every video! ❤🎉 😊@KristoferESO

PvP better than throne, imo

The medium armor head skin from barnacles and blackwater, drops from the boss

What would you say are the strongest builds right now in PvP?
Hatchet sns is a menace at the moment, balance is pretty good however so most builds are strong in pvp!
Love your vids, can we get some different builds featured?
Working on a new build right now!
Downloading the game as we speak. If I want to play the most busted build right now, what would that be for 1v1/small scale?
Could you please do a followup to this build?
Good stuff. But it would be very nice to see a new world buddy full BiS setup. Just to get more ideas from others.
BIS setup linked in video description!

In his 1st pvp vid he said up close it seems broken but long range its easy to make em miss.

It protects to ablititys aswell, enchanted ward not
Enchanted ward is great too, I prefer aversion since that plus thrust resist covers ranged damage real well
@@KristoferESO doesnt ranged attacks count as heavy and light attacks ? (So ward would work, with same % resist)
Does healing breeze procc from healthy toast again?
Yes

do you use light or medium armor?
hey….i thought they got rid of blue damage numbers…
It's blue when you hit a door or other destroyable object

They drop from opr crates! I got mine on the 3rd one

Why do you want nature gems? Any advice as to what gems I should have in a Finisher + Fire staff build? I have bleed on the fire staff
Youl want a Fire dmg gem on your rapier once you start getting fire damage perks on your ring / armor and runglass fire damage gems on armor.
how did you get tumblers feetwrap in szn 6?

Sure he builkd some int in hes atreibutes = nature damage in this case benefits from int, so its to get more damage ez, bc converts it.
as 150 int u do 10% elemental damage and 100 int the heavy + light aa attacks scale too

Is hatchet musket still viable Kirk? I ask because i dont like the feel of rapier but not appaled enough not to play it for the sake of the build
Is there anyone else having trouble with defeating Isabella in the final quest!?

Yes very good survivability and control!
when i do make this build. Does it matter that i dont buy the same armor like name of it.
Some armor has illegal perk combos. You can get any armor “name” so just look for the perks you want.
Can you change perks on gear ?
You can add a perk to named items when you upgrade them. Or artifacts. You can’t change existing though.
Is that Healing Breeze proc off Shirking Heals working as intended, or is that a bug?
It used to work this way then they disabled it, now they nerfed it a ton but added the functionality back so I'm guessing this is intentional
