- This is the 2022 canoe trip we took in northern Saskatchewan. We flew into Hickson Lake and made our way back to Missinipe. It is a straight forward trip, but does require some challenging portaging, large open lake paddling, and multiple rapids of varying classes. There is a great variety of landscapes including fens and bogs, burns, both recent and old, sandy beaches and rocky shieldlands. A well travelled route, it is a fun trip and well worth the time.

Music is by: Unicorn Heads Unicorn Heads started as a URL, a name for a band that never materialized. A few years later it became a good name for my music production studio creating compositions for film, online video, podcasts, and television. A moniker for bass player Connor O’Sullivan’s music production.
Wish I could of spent more time climbing around Smith Narrows like you guys did. Jelly! I laughed my ass off on the EATMORE panoramic. How did Diane like the trip, and how do you like that MSR tent? I'm assuming it a Hubba Hubba? Thanks for posting!
Diane loved the trip! It is not the Hubba, it is the Elixir 3. That tent has seen us through many trips and storms with no issues. I would buy another Elixir in a heartbeat. Hopefully I get part two of the trip do soon. Take care.
