    Good job! If your ground was frozen it would do better. Im in south central New York

      I agree if the ground was frozen it would have definitely been easier to plow. Our snow is already melting here in central PA. Thanks for watching!

    Brother, you get to have so much fun operating those mini
    excavators! I have a bobcat 316 mini excavator for my business. I don't get to use it enough, im in the process of advertising for excavator and skidsteer services. Im planning to buy another mini excavator just to take out-to-the-woodz, to have fun with, on the weekends, like the 4-wheeler guyz do. But I will be riding the trails here in South west Florida, on a mini excavator, while everyone else is riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes/ sidexside! I will start by making the, wooptiedooz level, and make more trailz! God bless. Be safe out there.

      Hey man, on your oldest groundhog excavator, how many hours right now, and how much play/slop is there throughout the entire, boom/stick/bucket? It would be cool to see a new, all around updat on your oldest groundhog! Thank you so much for your awesome videos!

    Hi. love your videos. I got my Groundhog delivered yesterday - Looking to do the same to my KH14G-2, but your link only brings me to the plow. Do you have a link for the mount?

    • @gardnersgroundhogminiexcavator
      @gardnersgroundhogminiexcavator  9 місяців тому +1

      Well I cut the plow mounts that was meant to be a universal mount for an ATV. I then made four angle iron brackets to attach the modified plow mounts to the excavator blade. Sounds like we are going to have some more snow so in the next video I'll go into some more detail on what I made. It was all pretty simple stuff so it shouldn't be to hard for you replicate. Thanks for watching and you'll have to keep me posted on how well your Groundhog works for you!

    We got about eight or nine here yesterday. I don't know how that would work with tracks . I have taken rides on dozers without growsers on them in the winter time, it's not fun.

      Did you mount a snow plow to your excavator?

  • @artur8403
    @artur8403 9 місяців тому +1

    I think none of these small ones have floating position on front blades valve. And it's slow too. For snow you need speed, floating position and blade protection. All 3 things not so needed and missing on excavator. Excavator plow is made to push slowly heavy stuff and at exact heigth relative to tracks

      Your right there is always a better way but if you can only afford one piece of equipment a mini excavator is hard to beat for being able to perform so many tasks all year long. Point in case just try loading a log on a saw mill, splitting firewood, digging up stumps, excavation jobs, hanging a deer, tearing down a structure and the list goes on and on. I mean try doing any of that with a plow truck, snow blower or side by side. The only thing that comes close is a skid steer and industry wide the skid steer is most definitely the more expensive option especially when you add in the price of attachments and comparing new equipment. The mini excavators are flooding the market right now and prices are super low so I want to show people what they might accomplish with one. That's what my channel is mostly about. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching.

      @@gardnersgroundhogminiexcavator You did a nice job there, I was considering if my Mini-ex could do some plowing and lifting as well vs. ATV plow for rural use, nice job, probably works really well on lifting compacted snow and ice that a ATV might struggle with.

    • @gardnersgroundhogminiexcavator
      @gardnersgroundhogminiexcavator  2 місяці тому +1

      @Kingsoupturbo I have a Honda 350 4x4 that couldn't get the job done using the same plow. The Honda didn't have the traction or the weight to move the heavier snow. The Groundhog worked pretty good with the added benefit of being able to dig out if needed. It's not fast but it's dependable and as useful as a swiss army knife. Groundhog offer's over forty attachments plus what ever else you can dream up.
