Yes, this kind of singing, this one we listen from Damiano in the end, came from a far far past: It's called "singing a cappella", and It was the way to sing of monks in the Middle Age . It was introduced in convents during papa Gregorio period. Infact It is called also Canto Gregoriano (Gregorian's way to sing). Ever since that, all the european churchs sang that way. Il CANTO GREGORIANO was a Real music revolution in the middle age. And came from Italy, from ROME, the town where Maneskin come. I don t think they chose it for a religious question. It' s more alike what made the "genius" Ray Charles in the fifhties: he kept gospels from black churche's way to sing, and he made a new way to sing about love, sex, pain and everything It's about human daily life . I'm sure Maneskin know what the GENIUS made. They have a great music culture, despite they are very very young people, well you can feel listen their music, you feel they grew up listening the greateast of the music. Every kind of great music: they know from gregoriano to rock, heavy, punk, soul, funky and rappers too. I suppose, and I m sure, they thought: ehi baby, we are italians, we have thousands years culture behind our back. Why don't use It? Why let It die, why let It be forgotten? Let' s keep it and bring it into our times, into "never dies" Rock music. And they done. I'm italian, and first time I heard this song, I immediatly thought about il canto gregoriano a cappella. Because that is. Thanks Maneskin to remember all world that Italy was for hundreds years West culture cradle...young Mozart came in Italy to learn...Sheakespear too, and all the others great artists of the past HAD to come in Italy to learn. Was like a sort of culture pilgrimage. It was for centuries. thanks Maneskin, Italy loves you❤😊
It's incredible how Måneskin sounds exactly the same live and in studio, I feel this might be the start of the return of actually good singers in the top charts 👀

You are so kind, more than others, trying to pronounce italian name and words. You catch the feeling of these guys and of their public, that goes from 5 to 90 years: isn't it fantastic? They're normal guys, with no vices but smoke, from normal families, and they remind to me Lucio Dalla's words : today the very exeptional thing is being normal. They are doing sort of miracle keeping together Italian tradition in great lyrics (De Andrè level), great melodic voice technic (Massimo Ranieri level) with international rock sounds (White Stipes level) and glam rock aesthetic (Marylin Manson level). my favourite Maneskin's song - and is slowly but surely getting more and more popular....in this other version I love how the guitar slide meet the bass note after the second "Noi No" ua-cam.com/video/XD_iA7JWAew/v-deo.html - and again, many Live versions of this band sounds better than the studio one (this is very unusual).
Live versions are full of surprises (especially with new instrumental sounds) and I think it is because they are kings on the stage!
@@Val-gk3vi no doubts they were born for playing live - but there another reason: they are getting better day by day - for example: New Song on the official CD cannot be changed - but playing it live they improved the instrumental part which now sounds completely different on recent performances (this and other similar examples). Now, Coraline's solo in my view is 5 out of 10: too narrow range, repetitive and not that creative - (my main instrument is sax but I can play a guitar solo)...but I hope Thomas is going to improve it on live stage.

Dear Italians, listening song from heart to heart has different influence and often more deep than following the words and keeping mind fixed on them. There are always exceptions and one may listen several times, one time following words and another time listening by heart...But never think that I get less from Torna a Casa for example then listening simply the voice and melody thank following the words. Dont forget that MANESKIN WON WITH ITALIAN SONG, BY VOETES OF NON ITALIANS WHO DID NOT KNOW WORDS.

Come on!!! The Italian is the most easy language in the world to pronounce!! I especially hate when the "A" is pronounced as in "April" and not as in "Apple". Tjhe "U" is always pronounced as in "Utero". "I" is always as in "fit". "O" as in "Orange".
Every letter has the basic sound. What you see is what you hear- ok, there are small exceptions like "ci", "gi" etc but there you're excused :)
