Wow. This takes me back to the good days of the Canucks. I miss seeing these three faces on the ice under one banner.

Close one there with that hyper fan. I thought he was going to rush the stage shouting "Lou! I love you and you love me! Lou! We neeeed to be together!!!"

Sedins nobody will ever have what they had simply
Both magicians IQ above all luongo deserve it and alfredsson deserves it but I’ll say this Alexander mogilny still hasn’t been inducted and it’s terrible he’s the first player to defect from Russia he was the one who did it for Russia if it wasn’t for him ovechkin and other starts wouldn’t be here and Mogilny is One of 30 members of Triple Gold Club (Olympic Gold in 1988, World Championship in 1989, Stanley Cup in 2000) should of been inducted long ago hopefully sooner then later

Seems like the hall of fame is becoming the hall of popularity or the hall of very good more & more every year. Sedin’s weren’t hall of fame caliber players.

Stentor of Sparta: I agree, the case for the Sedins in the HOF is weak. I think there's some kind of novelty factor in some people's minds because they're identical twins that played on the same team and same line for an entire career. If you look at their individual stats they're borderline at best, and they're not even in the ballpark as far as first ballot HOFers. If they had 10 years that were as good as their best 5 years they'd be worthy.
Also, they didn't have the competitiveness and mentality to win in the playoffs. The Canucks choked in 2011 because of a total absence of leadership. A championship team needs the two best players to be "Batman and Robin", and the Sedins were always "Robin and Robin". They were consistent and reliable, but they were followers, not leaders, and not capable of elevating their game when it was needed. I think they're each about 75% of a Hall of Famer.

@@juan_de_nacho i would point out this is the Hockey hall of fame.. not NHL hall of fame.. don't ignore the international aspects of the game..

Seems their peers think they are worthy and on their first-year eligibility no less. I'm inclined to think they know more about hockey than yourself

@@juan_de_nacho So Jerome Inglia, Paul Kariya, Marcel Dionne, Dale Hawerchuk, etc... didn't win a cup so you would consdier them 75%, worthy players?

@@stewartisan213 so what you’re saying is you don’t believe yourself to be smart enough to form an opinion based on facts so you just go off of whatever you hear.
