Thank you so much for this easy to follow tutorial xx I have wanted to make a feather for a while now but thought it looked too tricky, I'm so glad I found you because I think the feather I made following your instructions might be the nicest thing I've crocheted x
Thanks for your tutorials I made mine in blue (only ball of yarn around me), my husband watch your thumbnail and love your colour combination...need to buy more yarn 😉
Beautiful. I would wish for a printed pattern because it's not easy for me to crochet while watching a video. I know how to slow the speed but it's not the ideal way for me, anyway.
Yeah, I don't know if I got ahead of her or what but I didn't have as many stitches left near the top. So, I finished it off, still got my point but not as sharp as hers. That's what happens when you have to get up and go to tge bathroom and you can't figure out if you got ahead of her or if you are on the same row! I goy lost on the decreases somewhere.
I have a request. Would you consider designing a hoodie for a child in the age range of 6-9 yrs old? You have created beautiful things for babies and adults and I have made most of your designs. But I have grandchildren in the 6-9 year age group and would really like to make them some hoodies in particular, but pullover sweaters would work, too. Please think about it?
I love the feathers, they’re beautiful', thank you for doing the tutorial in English! 😍❤️😍 I have only seen the tutorials in Spanish from “Tejiendo Peru”! You should check them out, they have 5 different feathers videos in crochet & macrame, including a gorgeous Peacock feather, too!
Hi!! So i got into crocheting again recently and one of my friends suggested me selling crocheted bookmark. May I follow this tutorial for my commissions?
Hi Sirin, Thank you so much for sharing these pretty feathers. What would I have to do to make it stand up better? I want to make a couple of these for my Indian dolls hair. Hug your kitty's for me please.
I’m still stuck on 9:00 to 9:45 - can you offer written explanation maybe? for just these 45 seconds? I don’t know what a ‘triple front pulse’ is and Google didn’t pull up anything. I also wonder about the ‘decres’ . Is that what we were doing before and it’s just the first time it’s mentioned? Thanks so much. I really want to be able to make this!
I'm pretty sure she meant to say 'Triple Front Post' which is making a triple stitch behind the triple stitch you made on the previous row, instead of making a stitch on top like how you would normally do when crocheting. Also, for the other term, she was saying to 'decrease' which is just skipping the next stitch to decrease the number of stitches on the row you are on. In this case, you are skipping the triple stitch you created on your previous row AFTER you have made a triple front post stitch. I hope that helps!
She means well. It is a nice project. She needs a visual diagram. I cannot see what she is doing. Her fingers are wrapped around the yarn. Disappointing. Poor.

This was the easiest feather I have made. Your instructions are very clear. Thank you so much😊.

These feathers are very beautiful Sirin I can’t wait to try one thank you I will make a bookmark for my crochet journal 📙💕Amanda xx
I tried this and mine turned out to be a hot mess. I have no idea where I went wrong. Lol
When I’m struggling with a pattern, I find it helps to use thicker yarn and a larger crochet hook. Just to get the hang of the pattern.

What weight yarn are you using? I tried a 3mm hook and it wouldn't even come close to grasping the yarn. (I'm using #4 weight cotton yarn).
Your yarn is too thick for the hook. Increase your hook or decrease your yarn
