How Star Wars: Ahsoka Should Have Ended

- Hello there! The Ahsoka Series was a mixed bag of great visuals and awesome fight scenes vs bad acting and bland writing. But if this show was animated, it would have been a Star Wars masterpiece! Now we must fix what has been broken, as Thrawn and Ezra return in the epic season finale!
Like, comment, subscribe :)
Five years ago, I made "How Star Wars Rebels: Season 4 Should Have Ended." That video kick-started my channel into a Star Wars animation UA-cam channel.
Now five years later, we finally get the sequel to SW Rebels. It may have been far from perfect, but at least our blue boy is back home :)
Trust me it was FAAR From perfect
@@JeordieChefsorry yeah I meant to write that lol
What the song being played at :40 it’s a good song. And I love it when you put it in your videos
@@awesomeguy8721 It's Jedi Fallen Order - Bracca Escape
you do good work.
I was actually okay with Ezra not taking his lightsaber in episode 7. I wanted to see how he survived 10 years without one. But he did get one again when they had the time.
I like that it's a mix between Kanans and Ezras first lightsaber
until he immedialty picked up a blaster lol
He had the time. Sabine offered it to him like 10 times. She can't use it herself, and he isn't against killing, so why?
He used the force instead but Thema He build a blue one why?
@@user-xx6vy9ri8p it’s symbolic, he gave her it so as far he is concerned it isn’t his anymore.
Hilarious how you had Ezra use the force to get Sabine her light saber back! For all we know, that could be how it REALLY happened!
Shhh don't tell :D
I really don’t like the Sabine Jedi plot line. That was probably my biggest gripe with the show.
@@JonBecker81I think there's nothing wrong with it other than the fact she survives lightsaber stab (especially when there were 40 other things they could of done to have her survive that scene) and the Force push scene makes no sense, her being able to summon a lightsaber also kinda makes no sense but the force works in mysterious ways and she was gonna die if the force didn't assist her. Again that scene is entirely pointless because Ezra should solo the death troopers No Diff and Sabine should have brought a jetpack. Although I kinda doubt thrawn would let her keep the jet pack unless she did some bullshit convincing it was part of her religion and somehow gaslit thrawn into respecting her wishes.
I imagined the same lol
I love the way you animated Ezra at 6:16. Seeing him spin all around like that actually cracked me up and is actually in line with how he fought stormtroopers in Rebels.
Thank you :)
I also love how you pointed out that ahsoka is a side character in her own show, that was the weirdest part about all this, this was literally rebels season 5!
(takes deeply satisfied breath) this was so cathartic. so many complaints addressed here. just the absolute best work here
Thank you :)
4:30 almost didnt notice Mayday, he blends in with the night troopers
Good eye :)
@@nchldmnAnd there's a minikit in the background
Mayday blends so well with the troopers but i found him
Aaah the return of Star Wars HISHE is here... *WITH A VENGEANCE!*
Right?! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The part when Huyang gets ran over by a purrgil killed me!🤣🤣🤣😂
I also like how “if you can use an army of Purrgil, use them!”
This was amazing. The dialouge was honestly more believable than in the actual Ahsoka show. And the part of Ezra making Sabine feel good about her self with using the force was amazing
"I'm a very resourceful guy" Oh you sure were Kanan
The Clone Wars was probably when Anakain was at his most happiest. I don’t blame him for using it to complement his lesson. 😄
Great video.
What was the lesson? And what's her character growth?
@@user-xx6vy9ri8p That she is more than an instrument of death and destruction. She needs to live, not just literally, but figuratively. Embrace life. Enjoy life. Make connections, especially with her own apprentice.
As for her character growth, there is a personality difference from before and after this. She has taken that lesson to heart.
Wish Star Wars would break the stereotype of the master and apprentice relationships. Like in the Ahsoka show for instance, where Baylan is the older, male, taller master, and Shin being the female, shorter, and younger apprentice. We haven't seen many female master, male apprentice relationships in star wars, and age is no indication of experience. Would have loved if Shin was the master, and Baylan the apprentice instead, would've been way more interesting, kinda like the nightsisters being dominant on Dathomir over the males. And they could've easily made Shin had some connection to the nightsisters, being able to use magic, as well as drawing upon the dark side for quick results and immense power, with Baylan answering to and following her, instead of the opposite. Don't care about representation or "woke" content at all, just want something new, fresh, interesting, and unexpected.
@@ncard00 We saw Depa Billaba and Caleb Dume, Cere and Cal, Ahsoka and Ezra.
@@Meushell Where was that fear in episodes 1-4? And no, there's no personality change, she is the same smug plank, just wearing white.
Ahsoka and Boba Fett have something in common: They ended up as side characters in their own show.
Same goes for Obi wan.
Idk, he did have a good amount of screentime in his show
8:59 The "Anakin shocked gasping for air" expression will never NOT get old. Lol 🤣
Bro, I laughed a lot. I like how you included some actual weird stuff from the show (Sabine surviving the stab, Ahsoka looking younger, Anakin's lesson being pretty pointless), I really liked the fact that you put the 2003 Clones in the flashback (It would be nice seeing some Tales of the Jedi/TCW ones tho), Zeb, Kallus and Rex cameo was perfect. I feel like in that last scene, Ezra still should have the beard, he looks actually weird without it in that scene lol. And some characters looked pretty weird (like Baylan, Shin, Morgan) but you still did a good job.. Oh yeah I also noticed the mini-kit and Mayday-looking Night-trooper, I feel like you should've put some Rebels style Stormtroopers (The helmets, I think you know what I mean)
Thank you :)
I LOVED all of your Rebel Hishes, and it was so great to see some of those jokes return here! 😄🤣
" When you have an army of spacewhales, use them, every, single, time!!!"
(But no dancing whale music? 😕)
" When taken separately..."
" Nobody ever takes anything separately!!!" (I really missed not having Zeb and Kallus here, Rex too, but at least he got flashbacks)
And then by far the best of all -
" Our enemies will learn a very valuable lesson today - NEVER pad the runtime."
Oh my God that was so great!! 😆😂🤣
I loved the show, and loved your Hishe too!
Thank you!
Thank you! Sadly, I can't use the Space Whales song anymore, because of copyright reasons, but I had to bring back the meme regardless :)
I thought the lesson with the clone wars flashback was clear:
Ahsoka fears her legacy is nothing but death and destruction, as Baylon said. Her only experience as a jedi is war and her teacher turned out to be a mass murderer. Anakin said the he's more than that and so is she. But she couldn't see that until she finally faced Vader again.
Could Filoni have made this lesson clearer while maintaining the clone wars flahbacks? Yes. But it is what it is.
Now, if only Anakin could've shown up to Ben/Kylo while he was at Luke's Jedi School. Things would have gone very differently.
Maybe he wanted us to dig into this on our own, and not receive everything at once on a silver platter🤔
@@Jek1466 thats a very generous take given the poor quality writing of the entire show.
havent seen this argument since back in the OLD TLJ days
why does facing Vader let her see that though? facing Vader taught Luke he could go down the wrong path by showing his face in Vader's mask for instance. a good therapy session would have done the same for Ahsoka. I can't believe she hasn't ever had the introspection to think about those things and come to terms with them in like 20 years, it just doesn't make much sense
@@Jek1466 Or maybe the only arc of the main character of the show should not be left ambiguous and her development should be more than changing her clothes?
5:42 Shame that Kallus and Zeb didn't appear in Ahsoka tv show. Not even a brief cameo.
It’s because they’re men.
Episode 5 felt more like an Ahsoka episode. The whole series felt like a live action revival of Rebels, and I loved it
We need a season 2. I want to see how she got her staff and how they'll escape that Galaxy. Also its so sad that Ray didn't live to see this series. I hope whoever they get to play Baylon in the future ties his best to replicate his way of playing the character. It would be a shame to waste Baylon when he's such an interesting character.
Well, perhaps we will get more back story about him soon in something like tales of the Jedi season 2
7:39 Legit this way the scene would have been so much better. Additionally it would also have been a comic relief.
This vid was AWSOME!!!!!! The alternate Sabine/Shin duel was hysterical. - especially when Sabine blew her up with the rocket. And I love the Thrawn scenes where he simply kills off Sabine and the witches, and leaves Ezra “lost”. And, of course, the scene where Ezra and his Rebels co-stars are re-united INCLUDING Zeb and Kallus. And a first meeting between Ezra and Jacen should have absolutely been in the final scene. THAT should have been HUGE.
Why are you not talking about thrawn how in character this version with the real character
7:42 How sweet of Ezra to help out Sabine with the Force secretly.
i like to think that actually happened
@@amethystclouds well I think most people would perfer this happened lol
I like the Pong Krell reference with Baylan lol
Imagine if Kannan met Anakin as an adult Kannan would tell Anakin "Master Skywalker I heard so much about u at the Temple I looked up to u since I was a Youngling"
I loved how Anakin looked in the early half the war he looked like Matt Lanter I read Anakins lines in his voice
8:59 Ezra Bridger is now an uncle!
8:42 Shaved Ezra Bridger looks really good.
Yup Eman Estefani actually looks a lot like Ezra without his beard
Finally someone agrees that Ahsoka looks to young in the siege of mandalorian scene
To be fair the actor was 16yrs old, she was pretty close in age
The thing is, in The Clone Wars they made her age a lot. In-universe the Clone Wars only lasted 3 years. Ahsoka was 14 at the beginning and 17 at the siege of Mandalore. I understand that in animation they wanted her to get more mature as the war went on, but realistically you don't change that much in 3 years.
Me during the last 2 episodes:
"Thrawn you know where Ezra, Sabine and Ahsoka are. Just take your Star Destroyer and go blow them up!"🤣
Is it bad that I want Thrawn to win?
If he took the star destroyer away, he would not have escaped.
No, I wanted him to win as well. The Thrawn books have made him a protagonist in my eyes😅, so I kept expecting him to do smart things like send more than 2 TIE fighters to permanently eliminate his enemy, or at least have the hyperspace ring fixing mechanism started before the cargo transfer was complete so that they could leave immediately after the transfer got completed. Too bad he lost.
@@boganbane He won, he has an army, and escaped the galaxy. Leaving Ahsoka behind where she is no longer a threat
@@DarthPlague_067 He lost about a garrison of stormtroopers, a magic user who could defeat powerful Jedi like Ahsoka, two TIEs, all of Morgan's mercenaries, and even then he barely escaped. All of those losses were easily avoidable. I, at the very least, will not call that a victory.
And he also brought a powerful stowaway in form of Ezra Bridger and allowed him to escape, ruining any chances of a surprise attack. (Actually, he will still have the element of surprise, but not because of his genius, because of the Republic's incompetence)
@@boganbane and back in the original galaxy he has many warlords and their armies at standby. Likely many secret operations he could start back up. And he also brought an army of night sisters back with him. Night sisters being very underrated and powerful, will be a force for the Corrupt New Republic to reckon with. With his astounding leadership returning to the galaxy, it will not be long before he conquers all of it, Again.
3:40 What a Take That jab at Ahsoka's first outfit when she debuted in Star Wars The Clone Wars Movie.
Shin has shown more facial expressions in this, than in the actual show
Statement: "BYE". 😂
Great work as always! I’ll stay posted for Bad Batch S3 and any passion projects you have along the way!
4:29 This guy on the right looks like Mayday
1:30
The theme when Alastair Azimuth tries to kill Ratchet from Ratchet and Clank Future A Crack in Time.
Also with slicing Ahsoka in half. She can recover from that. I mean, it didn’t stop Maul.
I love the part where Ahsoka said “It’s Ahsokaing time”
Commander Mayday and the lego Star Wars minikit 😂
Ezra at the end very hishe lmaoo
That "hey I'm a resourceful guy" is such a kanan response
One thing that needs to happen:
Ezra trains Jacen to be a jedi. How perfect would it be to have Ezra train his master's son like how Obi-Wan trained his apprentice's son.
I liked the series, but there was definitely a lot of plot armor, especially when Ahsoka, Sabine and Ezra didn't get hit by the Chimaera's turbolasers. Also pretty disappointed that we didn't see neither Zeb, Kallus or old man Rex. Still, I loved seeing what is probably the closest we'll get to see the death troopers from the book.
"Death Death Troopers"
This show has more plot armour than any parody ever. They dodge rain fire ffs...
Aside the Death troopers all of the zombie scenes we're absolute sleep pills. The Stormtrooper zombies moving at grandpa pace (when we know Nightsister zombies are quick and agile) was specially boring
@@Fulcrox Night sisters are way superior to stormtroopers, what are you on
@@DarthPlague_067 they are Undead, they literally don't need skills as they are walking bodies with rabid rage. Being Stormtroopers has nothing to do with walking at grandpa pace while being hit one at time
0:37 Loth-Cat attack!☠️😆
YOU HAVE A SON!? YOU SHOULD TELL EVERYONE!
Good old fashion animation. I love it. Keep up the good work!!!
I love how you put the Clone Mayday in with the nighttroopers. I was thinking about that when i watched this episode in Ashoka.
2:35 Ahsoka was also trained by a mutant rat? Because I swear, that's what Splinter from TMNT once said.
Ah a man of culture :D
4:27, it's always nice to see the Lego Minikits.
shin hati even so hot in your animation nice work 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵👍👍👍👍👍
me seeing mayday in the backround. Rest in peace
the fact that some of the characters look better in this then they did in the actual show tho
3:00 Ahsoka: There's your bonus.
(I think that I haven’t written this under your posts/videos yet)
3:48
Just in case you or anyone else still haven't figured it out yet:
Anakin's lesson was to show Ahsoka that she should accept the legacy he mentioned into her life and start living to the fullest, rather than rejecting that legacy by trying to prevent it from happening again, what will result in her death as a soldier of the endless conflict.
Love the Pong Krell reference you've made!
Nicholas becomes the new Star Wars writer 🤣 please, like you really 100% improved the show!
Enoch from Ben 10 meeting Enoch from Ahsoka: *Two Spider-men meme*
5:09 But, you’re supposed to be LAWFUL EVIL
🤣
And I can also hear the themes for the Oozla Swamp Monster Boss Battle. And the battle theme from Aridia Outpost X-12. You know, Insomniac should make a Star Wars Game one day.
They should! It would be amazing
8:22 glad I wasn’t the only one who thought of that
I would love to see Vader without his mask in ur animation style along with The Sebastian Shaw look with Jack Vickers voice or Anakins Beyond The Clone Wars
true ending.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Way way better than the script of the show .
😎🍷👌 10/10 Masterpiece.
The only thing I didn't agree with is Thrawn disposing of the Nightsisters. Because they are useful as a way of countering the unpredictable nature of the force
Also I'm pretty sure the cargo is part of Thrawn's plans.
@@Dogburt_Junioryea the cargo are actually corpses to make them zombies
"Shall we start loading the cargo for our departure, Grand Admiral?"
"Nonsense, since we already knew you were arriving, we obviously loaded up the cargo beforehand. All we need to do is attatch the hyperspace ring in orbit and we'll be ready for departure in about an hour."
"We can't let you do that, Sir. The plot demands it."
2:45 And Anakin would be very proud of Ahsoka if she follows in his War Crimes footsteps with total Won.
Bro the mini kit and mayday🤣🤣🤣
Hello there! We're back!
1:20
She got darth maul treatment 💀☠️
W animation tho 👍
I hate they make anyone can survive lightsaber stabs
9:02 I recognise this moment
If I had a nickel for everytime someone said eventually you'll have to do the right thing and then died id have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice
Anakin should've been the be to one to say "you have a son? We gotta tell everybody!"
Then Anakin somehow find thrawn just to tell him
No music when the pergill show up😂
This was a million times better than what dave filler'oni gave us, and you made thrawn super smart and scary in this, i also love how you made ezra make sabine think she had the force when it was just him being a simp for sabine and boosting her ego, adds a lot to both characters! This was awesome man, subscribed!
Thank you :)
He was truer to the characters than Dave was.
Truly a masterpiece
Aww kanan’s force ghost😢

I wish this is how it went, essentially with Thrawn! ❤
“I’m a resourceful guy”
I love that you used the rebels Ahsoka and not Rosareo Dawson.
You used the same sound effect for Sabine's jetpack as the thrusterpack from Ratchet and Clank.
I remember when this channel made the parody about the rebels finale with the space whales. Really sad how star wars hasn't changed since then...
Anyone's else notice the lego minikit?
Awesome! That was so good 😂
wish sabine actually died would of saved the show
