Hello good sir! It’s your Langdale Valley passer by here! Love the commentary and the personality that comes through in your videos, can tell you’re a content creator as your comfortable on camera haha Hope you rested your feet up after your walk lad! (Sent from atop Thunacar Knott with some lucky 4G) 👌
Reet Harry!! Was crackin' meeting you at what was the end of my Lakes trip, but likely just the start of your evening, wildcamping in the fells. I'm working on it, never easy chatting on camera but slowly getting better at it I think. Feet are in good shapr after that mini dip you caught me doing haha! 😂💦 Hope the camp went well last night! Definitely going to watch some of your videos, will drop a comment / feedback for sure :) Find me on Insta if you ever wanna say Hi! instagram.com/lancashirelads.life
lovely little walk, one for a Sunday morning and only about half an hour from where I live. I've never really explored around that area so I'm defo gonna have a look. Thank you.
ohh, this is excellent to hear! thanks for sharing your feedback, hope you find it a fun lil walk, followed by a visit to one of my favourite local pubs :)
@@LancashireLadWalks Born and bred Lancashire Lass. I absolutely love living here, always have, always will. As far as I'm concerned, it's the centre of the universe. Green (yes, I love the rain), beautiful, near the Lakes, and you don't have to drive far to be in our pretty countryside. All we need to do is wait for the sea level to rise 5 feet and Blackpool will be gone!! You've got a new subscriber. Thank you for showing off our gorgeous county!
Ive never heard of this, witches broom 🤪 but it does look like it could be, yes! Thanks for the feedback on the photography, and yes you must give this lil walk a go. lovely spot.
I have yes, it's not too bad along the river, but I didn't like telling people to join the canal off Preston Old Road, that dodgy bit leading down to the canal just felt too rough / sketchy for recommending people to head down. Also, Finnington Lane is mega busy with no pavements so couldnt recommend that either. never mind, short walks are still fun / simple to do. Quicker finish to the pub as well 🍻
Nice walk. Those nests are actually mistletoe. That weir was great.
That's the second person to say that about mistletoe! thanks! 🙏🏻

Aye, been along a path recently like the Somme. But was rewarded with a glade of Hazel and a lovely wee pool and waterfall into the Hodder.
sounds crackin Mark!
Great content Lancashire Lad.
One tiny criticism, if people in other counties see this, they're going to know what us Lancies have known for ever!! 😂🤫
haha! True... although are you referring to all the mud, or the beautiful falls?! 🤪💦

Witches broom on the Birch tree it's a deformity in the growth, not nests or mistletoe as mentioned below!! great video thank you.
interesting, yes I believe you are right, lots have said this now. Thanks for the feedback on the film :)
I thought the nests could be witches broom?
I preferred portrait.
Like the walk, a new one to me.

Have you ever followed on straight from the river ,rather than turning right up the hill, and come back down the canal?

@@LancashireLadWalks yeah I completely get that!
Be careful at certain times of the year. Giant Hogweed grows all over that area

no way?! It could well be, having now looked it up. Interesting! Thanks for sharing :)
That looks superb. But the women in my life might not like the mud :/ Also your photography is superb. (Oh landscape for me)
Haha it's not for everyone, I'd agree! 😅 Thanks, just practicing & wanting to improve always.
Factoid; Vimto was invented by a guy from Blackburn in 1908
no way?! Class fact that!
I think the growth on the trees is known as witch's broom en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witch%27s_broom
Id agree, a few people have since said this to be fair. Cheers!
